Brenneman. - On the 3rd of April, in Wayne county, Ohio, of Cancer and Dropsy, ELIZABETH, wife of Samuel BRENNEMAN, aged 43 years, 9 months and 28 days. Funeral discourses by Henry Martin and Benjamin Horst, from Rev. 14:13. She leaves a husband, three sons and a large circle of friends and relatives to mourn her departure. She was a respected and well beloved sister in the church, God bless the mourning friends.

Sister, thou hast left us here,
Called to pass from earth away,
With the Savior to appear
In the realms of endless day.

How thy suff,rings here below,
Didst in meekness gently bear;
Heav,n is freed from pain and woe,
There will be no suff,ring there.

Buchwalter. - On the 7th of April, in Wayne County, Ohio, ANNA BUCHWALTER, formerly of Lancaster County, Pa., aged 58 years, 10 months and 4 days. Funeral discourse by Henry Martin and Benjamin Horst from John 5:24, 29.

Holdeman. - On the 13th of April, in St. Joseph county, Ind., of a protracted illness, ELIZABETH, wife of Samuel HOLDEMAN, aged 34 years, 8 months and 8 days. She was buried on the 15th upon which occasion a funeral discourse was delivered by J. F. Funk from 2 Cor, 5:1. A large number of friends and relatives were gathered together to pay the last tribute of love to the departed sister. She leaves a husband and one child to mourn their loss, but we hope the loss which they have sustained is her eternal gain. She was baptized during her illness, a few weeks before she died. May this dispensation of Providence be sanctified to the eternal good of all who were present upon that mournful occasion.

Mumma. - On the 22nd of March, in Cumberland county, Pa., LIZZIE MUMMA, aged 21 years, 6 months and 24 days. She was a daughter of Enos and Nancy Bergy. Four days previous to her death she was baptized, and received into the church. She leaves a husband and two children. Upon being asked in regard to her departure she said "I would rather die than stay here." Shortly before she died she said, I see the river, and on either side of the river is the "tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yields her fruit every month, and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations." Funeral discourses were delivered at the house by Geo. Rupp and S. Zimmerman from Mark 13; 26, 17. Her remains were brought to the home of her parents in Lost Creek Valley, Juniata county. On the 25th her remains were consigned to the Lost Creek burying ground. Funeral discourses were delivered by Jacob Graybill and Wm. Graybill. from I Pet. 1:24, 25.

Pom. - On the 19th of March, in Greene Township, Mahoning county, Ohio, GEORGE POM, aged 71 years.

Hochstetler. - On the 1st of April in Logan County, of scarlet fever and congestion of the Lungs, JOSEPH, son of Christian Y. and Lydia HOCHSTETLER, aged 9 years, 7 months and 23 days. He was buried on the 3rd, on which occasion funeral discourses were delivered by Moses Stutzman and the writer from Amos 4:12.
JOHN P. KINIG.

Hochstetler. - On the 26th of March, in Fayette township, Juniata county, Pa., of infirmities of old age JACOB HOCHSTETLER, aged 81 years, 11 months and 15 days. Buried on the 28th. Funeral discourses by Jacob Graybill, and others from Heb. 13:14. He was buried at the Brick Meeting-house, near Richfield.

Bixler. - On the 10th of April, Elkhart county, Ind., of protracted illness, ABRAHAM BIXLER, aged 44 years, 3 months and 15 days. Buried at Yellow Creek where a funeral discourse was delivered by Jacob Wisler, from Rev. 21:6, 7. He leaves a wife and five children.

Esch. - On the 3rd of April, in Scalp Level, Cambria county, Pa., Widow MATTIE ESCH, aged 72 years, 8 months and 2 days. She was buried on the 4th. Funeral discourse from Jn. 5:21 - 29. She was a sister in the Omish Mennonite Church and much beloved.

Burckhart. - In East Earl, Lancaster Co., on the 12th of March, JACOB BURCKHART, aged 68 years, 1 month and 19 days. He was buried on the 14th at Weaverland Meeting House. Services by Geo. Weaver and Peter Mosser.

Hartzler. - On the 26th of February, in Mifflin county, Pa., CHRISTIANA HARTZLER, widow of Jacob Hartzler Dec,d. She was born in Berks county, Pa., in 1783, and removed from thence to Mifflin county, in 1809, where she resided till the time of her death. She was the mother of ten children, eight of whom are now living, together with 47 grandchildren and 94 great-grandchildren, altogether 149. Her age was 88 years and 11 days.

Hartzler. - On the 13th of March in Juniata county, Pa., of cancer in the breast, MARY HARTZLER, aged 49 years, 2 months and 24 days. On the 15th her remains were conveyed to their final resting place in the family graveyard of David Reno, where a large number of relations and friends were assembled. She leaves four children to mourn their loss. Funeral discourse by Jacob and William Graybill, from Rev. 7:16. 17.

Beery. - On the 8th of March, in Branch county, Michigan, CATHARINE BEERY, daughter of Daniel and Rebecca Beery, aged 6 months and 8 days. She was buried at Pleasant Hill on the 10th. Funeral discourses by John Krupp and C. D. Beery.

Schwoweland. - On the 29th of March, in Elkhart County, Ind., of consumption, wife of Andrew SCHWOWELAND, aged 33 years, 4 months and 15 days. Funeral sermons were delivered by Christian Baer, John Weaver and Jacob Wisley.

Lauver. - On the 13th of January, in Juniata county, Pa., of diptheria*, MARY EMMA, daughter of Gideon and Sarah LAUVER, aged 3 years, 7 months and 24 days. Appropriate remarks were made by Jacob and William Graybill to the friends who had assembled on the occasion.

Snavely. - On the 10th of January, in Lancaster county, Pa., CHRISTIAN SNAVELY. He was buried on the 13th. Text, Isa. 55:67.

Hunsberger. - On the 16th of March, in Bucks county, Pa., JOHN HUNSBERGER, aged 66 years, 9 months and 12 days. He was buried on the 19th at Perquesee, where the services were conducted by John Allenbach, Isaac Moyer and Isaac Oberholtzer.

Hunsberger. - On the 4th of April, in the same place, JOHN M. HUNSBERGER, aged 40 years, 3 months and 20 days.

Musselman. - On the 30 of March, ia* Bedminster, Bucks county, Pa. SIMEON MUSSELMAN, in the 80th year of his age. Buried at Perquesee. Services by Isaac Rickert, Isaac Moyer and others.

Hunsicker. - On the 31st of March, in Hilltown, Bucks county, Pa., widow of Abraham HUNSICKER, deceased, aged 75 years, 10 months and 19 days. Buried at Perquesee; services by Samuel Godshall and Isaac Oberholtzer.

Cassel. - In Montgomery county, Pa., On the 16th of March, of dropsy, SARAH, wife of William CASSEL, aged 56 years, 1 month and 7 days. She suffered with her disease a long time, but bore her afflictions with christian patience. She was buried at Salford Meeting-house and was a beloved sister in the church. Funeral services by Isaac Clemens and Henry Nice.

Landes. - In the same county, on the 18th of March, CARRIE LANDES, daughter of Abraham Landes, aged 1 years, 10 months and 6 days. Buried at Franconia, services by the brethren Loux and Clemens.

Kauffman. - On the 13th of January, in Mercer county, Ohio, ____ KAUFFMAN, aged 76 years, 9 months and 3 days.

Yoder. - On the 9th of March, in Wayne county, Ohio, RACHEL, wife of Jost YODER, aged 69 years, 9 months and 28 days. Between seven and eight years ago, she had two strokes of palsy, and has since been helpless in one side. Ten days before her death she had another stroke. She was buried on the 11th. Services by J. K. and C. K. Yoder from Phil. 1:21. She was a member of the Omish Mennonite church.

Eaby. - On the 11th of December, 1870, in Salsbury township, Lancaster county, Pa., SUSANAH, oldest daughter of Henry S. and Barbara EABY, in the 10th year of her age.

Eaby. - On the 12th of March, BARBARA, wife of Henry S. EABY, in the 35th year of her age. On the 12th her infant child which was only two days old, was buried.

Eaby. - On the 13th, CHRISTIAN, son of Henry S. and Barbara EABY, in the 3rd year of his age. On the 14th the mother and son were buried together at Hess, burying ground; funeral services by Jacob Hershey, Samuel Wenger and Jacob Andrews, from Hebrews 9:27, 28.

Good. - On the 25th of March, in Rush Creek township, Fairfield county, Ohio, of palsy, FANNY, wife of Pre. Jacob GOOD, aged 57 years, 5 months and 6 days. They had 7 children of whom 6 are yet living. She was a kind companion, an affectionate mother and a devoted Christian. Her illness was of short duration. She had the first attack between 12 and 1 o,clock, the second about five, the same evening, and the third at ten o,clock, when she breathed her last. Thus in the midst of life we are all in death. She was buried on the 27th, followed by a large concourse of relatives and friends. Funeral discourses by Daniel Schwartz from Eccl. 7:1, and Pre. Montgomery from Matthew 25:13.

Nietrower. - In Elkhart county, Ind., on the 21st of March of Typoid* fever, NANCY, daughter of Joseph and Nancy NIETROWER, aged 7 years, 1 month, and 18 days. Funeral service by Jacob Wisler and Daniel Brenneman from Job. 1:21.

Moyer. - In Elkhart county, Ind., on the 26th of March, FRANKLIN, son of Abraham and Anna MOYER, aged 2 months and 1 day. Funeral services by Martin Hoover and Daniel Brenneman, from Math 18:3.

Hughs. - In Elkhart county, Ind., March the 28th, JOSEPH HUGHS, SR., Aged about 72 years. He was the father of 14 children, 12 living, 45 grand-children and 3 great-grand-children. He was a member of the N. S. Baptist church for 17 years. Funeral services by Daniel Brenneman from Job. 7:16, "I would not live alway."

Kling. - On the 14th of March, in Miama county, Ind., ____ wife of Martin KLING, aged 60 years, 4 months and 24 days. Services by P. Rouden, from 2 Tim. 4:7,8.

Boller. - On the 25th of March, in Hawpatch, Noble county, Ind., AMOS, Son of George Z. and Catharine BOLLER, aged 17 years, 8 months and 2 days. He had left home in company with two other persons and went to Stark county. On the way he became ill; on the 22nd they arrived at their destination, and he continued to grow worse. On the 25th he started for home, came as far as Ligonier and went to ____ Sommers, where he arrived at 11 o,clock in the night. On the 26th at 11 o,clock in the night he died. Funeral discourses were delivered by Isaac Schmucker, from I Pet. 1:24. and by Dr. Crumm, from Phil. 1:21. A large number of friends were present.

Schlatter. - On the 6th of February, in Lee county, Iowa of consumption, BARBARA, wife of Christian SCHLATTER, aged 46 years. She was buried on the 8th in J. Goldsmiths burying-ground, on which occasion John Gundy, of Henry county, delivered a discourse, aided by Peter Schantz. She was a member of the Omish church.

Swartzentruber. - On the 18th of March, in Lee county, Iowa, of inflammation of the bladder, PETER SCHWARTZENTRUBER, aged 70 years. Funeral dicourses* were delivered by J. Graybill, from Ps. 31:16, assisted by Peter Schantz, and by J. Young in the German language. Two days before his death he desired to partake of the Lord,s supper, which privilege was granted him. his wife died 7 years ago. He was a member of the Mennonite church.

Keim. - On the 10th of April, in Kent county, Mich., of palsy, MICHAEL KEIM. He was buried on the 13th at the Mennonite Meeting house, where H. Wismer and S. Scherk delivered funeral discourses from the words, "It is appointed unto man once to die." &c. Bro. Detweiler visited him, when he knelt down to pray, but was unable to rise again. His last words were, "God by merciful to me a sinner." We hope he has obtained the crown of everlasting life where there is a fulness of joy forevermore. His age was about 70 years.

Nash. - In Plumstead township, Bucks county, Pa., on the 15th of March, AMANDA NASH, aged 26 years, 3 months and 22 days. Many friends were present to mourn her departure.

And breathe my life out sweetly there.
