Martin, Helen D. Leatherman
, 85, of Souderton Mennonite Home Apts., formerly of Perkasie, PA died Jan. 30, 2000 in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township. Born in Bedminster Township, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Katie (Detweiler) Leatherman. She was the wife of Wayne D. Martin. They were married for 63 years on Sunday. She was a member of the Perkasie Mennonite Church, She sang with the chorus of the Life With God radio broadcast, formerly on WBYO from 1960 to 1980.

Survivors: Husband Wayne; daughters, Beryl of Georgetown, Del., Maryann, wife of David H. Kinney of Lansdale, Carolyn, wife of Wayne Cardin of Elkton, Va.; son; Floyd D. of Bartow, Pa.; sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Blank and Alma, both of Souderton, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service was Feb 2, 2000 at the Souderton Mennonite Homes chapel. With burial in Perkasie Mennonite Cemetery Perkasie, PA

Miller, LaMar L.


LaMar L. Miller, 62, Pettisville, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000, in his home after battling cancer for seven years.
           
Born July 17, 1938, in Wauseon, he was the son of Cletus and Ella (Short) Miller, and married Eloise Sauder on April 16, 1960. A life-long resident of the Pettisville area, he worked at Sauder Woodworking Co. in Archbold for 42 years. He retired in March, 2000. He was an active member of the Tedrow Mennonite Church.
           
Survivors include his wife, Eloise; two sons, Kevin (Patsy) Miller, West Unity; and Lynn (Tami) Miller, Pettisville; one daughter, Mrs. Lynn (Karlene) Short, Pettisville; five grandchildren; his parents, Cletus and Ella Miller, Wauseon; and a sister, Mrs. Dave (Bonnie) Blosser, Pettisville.
           
Memorial services were Friday at 11 a.m. in the Tedrow Mennonite Church. Randy Nafziger was the officiating pastor . Burial preceded the service in the Pettisville Cemetery.
