Clemmer, Jacob Moyer
, 87, of Tucson, Ariz., and formerly of Sarasota, FL died Jan. 20, 2001. He was born May 13, 1913, in Harleysville, Pa. He moved to Sarasota, FL in 1986 from Souderton, Pa. He moved to Tucson, AZ in 1998. He was a member of Franconia Mennonite Church Montgomery Co., PA. His wife was Martha Benner Lewis 1914-31 Jan 1984.

Survivors include a son, Jacob I. Jr. of Harleysville; three daughters, Mildred L. Bauman of Telford, Pa., Lorraine L. Zook of Souderton and Betty A. Moyer of Tucson; three brothers, William of Chalfont, Pa., Cyrus of Souderton and Marvin of Harleysville; three sisters, Mary E. Derstine of Franconia, Elizabeth Kupeerus of New Paris, Ind., and Alice Rittenhouse of Harleysville; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by parents and his wife Martha

Services and burial was in Franconia m+Mennonite Cemetery Montgomery Co., PA. with David R. Sadler Funeral Home in Telford, PA is in charge.

Crossgrove, Cora M.


Cora M. Crossgrove, 91, Archhbold, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, at Fairlawn Haven, Archbold, where she had resided since Aug. 23, 1995.
 
Born Aug. 14, 1909, near Archbold, she was a daughter of Charles and Mary (Wyse) Crossgrove. She lived at Midland, Mich. for 50 years, where she worked as a housekeeper for the Strosacker family for 50 years, before retiring and returning to Archbold. Since then she did quilting.for many persons. She was a member of the Mennonite Church.
 
She is survived by two sisters, Mary I. Schrock, and Laura Baer, Archbold.
 
Services were today, Wednessday, 10 a.m. at the Fairlawn Chaapel, Archbold. Charles Gautsche and Jeffrey Smith were the officiiating pastors. Burial followed in the Pettisville Cemetery.

Dillman, Amos W.


Born: 7-17-1911, West Earl Twp., Lancaster Co., Pa.  Died: 6-21-2001, Landis Homes Retirement Community, Lititz, Pa.

Husband of: Nettie Lefever Dillman, born 4-27-1915 and died 8-1982.  Son of: Cleever and Lizzie Witmer Dillman

Father of: Phoebe A. (Glenn) Burkholder of Washington Boro, Pa., Evelyn L. (Clair S.) Blank of New Holland, Pa., and Elaine (George H.) Eckma Jr. of Smoketown, Pa.  Grandchildren: 8.   Great-Grandchildren 12.

Brother: Vernon (Anne) Dillman of Lititz, Pa.  Sister: Lillian High of Manheim, Pa.

Preceded in death by: Sisters, Suetta Bare and Edith Sweigart and brother, Elmer Dillman.

Amos was a member of Metzler Mennonite Church, Ephrata, and was a Sunday School Teacher.  He worked as a salesman for Harry's Furniture Store, Leola, Pa.

Services: Landis Homes West Chapel, 1001 E. Oregon Road, Lititz, Pa. On Monday, June 25, 2001, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Eugene Zoll, Rev. Roy Martin and Rev. Jeff Burkholder officiating.  Intement in Metzler Mennonite Cem., Ephrata, Pa.

Esh, Ruth Z.,
Infant
Born: 6-26-2001, Lancaster, Pa.  died: 6-26-2001, Lancaster, Pa.

Daughter of: Christ K. and Ella S. Zook Esh of Kirkwood, Pa.

Survivors: brother, Paul C., at home; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Stoltzfus Zook of East Earl, Pa.; paternal grandparents, John K. and Hanna King Esh of Kirkwood; maternal great-grandparents, Noah S. And Mary Be. Reihl Zook of New Holland, Pa.

Preceded in death by: maternal grandfather, Benjamin R. Zook.
The family belong to Old Order Amish Church.

Fisher, John Wesley,
3, died Thursday, March 29, 2001 as the result of a farm tractor accident. Son of John Samuel and Wilma High Burkholder Fisher of Elliottsburg, PA.

In addition to his parents, surviving are two brothers, Samuel W. and Seth J., both at home; his paternal grandparents, Joseph M. and Lavina S. Allgyer Fisher of Myerstown; his maternal grandparents, Christian G. and Miriam S. High Burkholder of Thomasville; and great-grandparents, Levi S. Burkholder of Frystown and Edith and John David High of Myerstown.

Services were held April 2, 2001 in Schaefferstown Mennonite Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Clauser Funeral Home, Schaefferstown, handled arrangements.
