Geissinger, Kathryn M.
Born: 4-5-1905, East Earl, Lancaster County, Pa. Died: 11-8-2002, Lititz, Pa.

Wife of: Howard Geissinger (5-30-1900/8-1985).  Daughter of: Noah W. and Lydia Z. Martin Hurst

Survivors: Daughter, Anna H. Geissinger of Lancaster, Pa., foster son, Neil Wilson of Ephrata, Pa., foster sister, Minerva B. Nafziger of Hershey, Pa.; two sisters, Lydia Martin Hurst Wenger of Lititz, Pa. and Vera Martin Hurst Martin of Ephrata, Pa.; and a brother, Lester M. (Bertha Landis) Hurst of Lititz.

Preceded in death by: brothers, Jacob M., Roy M., Titus M.; and two sisters, Anna M. Hurst White and Eva M. Hurst Sensenig.

Kathryn was a member of Hammer Creek Mennonite Church, Elizabeth Twp., Lancaster Co., Pa.  She was a licensed practical nurse, working in private homes and nursing homes.

Services: Tuesday at 10:00 a.m.  form the Landis Homes East, 1001 Oregon Pike, Lititz, Pa., with Rev. Wilmer Musser officiating.  Interment in Hammer Creek Mennonite Cem., Elizabeth Twp., Lancaster Co., Pa.

Gerber, Marion E. Wisseman
October 8, 1913 - August 19, 2002

Gerber, Marion E. Wisseman 88, of Goshen, IN and formerly of Orrville, Ohio died Monday, Aug. 19, 2002, at Greencroft Healthcare, Goshen, IN. She was born Oct. 8, 1913, in Garrett County, Maryland, to Conrad and Mary (Gingerich) Wisseman. She married Edward Gerber in Grantsville, Md. on June 19, 1937. He died Oct. 13, 1986
Survivng are six children; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren

Services will be Aug 24, 2002 at 11:30 a.m. at The Meetinghouse at Greencroft in Goshen with the Rev. Firman Gingerich of College Mennonite Church and Margaret Sawatsky, chaplain at Greencroft, officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville, Ohio.
Friends may call two hours before services.
Yoder-Culp Funeral Home of Goshen is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Goshen College Music Department.

Girvin, Ross R.

Born: 11-19-1905, Leacock Twp., Lancaster Co., Pa.   Died: 4-11-2002, Essa Flory Hospice Center, Lancaster, Pa.

Husband of: (1) Kathryn M. Hess Ross who died 4-17-1947 at the age of 40 years. She was the daughter of David & Fannie Christ Hess.  (2) Edna C. Hershey Ross, who died 3-26-2002

Son of: Isaac and Laura Buckwalter Girvin

Member of: Hershey's Mennonite Church, Kinzers, Pa.

Survivors: 2 sons, Robert I., married to Margaret R. Becker Girvin, and Paul R., Married to Edith Diller Girvin, both of Intercourse, Pa.; three Grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren.

Preceded in death by two sisters, Edith  Hershey and Ethel Ranck

Ross was a self-employed farmer.  He worked at the former Worst General Store in Intercourse from 1950 until it went out of business.

The funeral was held at Hershey's Mennonite Church on Monday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Glenn C. Hershey & Deacon Elmer M. Martin officiating.  Interment in Hershey's Mennonite Cem., Kinzers, Pa.

Glick, Annie S.
Born: 12-16-1907, New Holland, Lancaster Co., Pa. Died: 4-19-2002, Leola, Pa.

Wife of: Levi S. Glick, who died 1990

Daughter of: Jacob & Fannie Stoltzfoos Stoltzfus

Member: Old Order Amish Church

Survivors: Sons, David W. (Mary King) Glick, Benjamin L. (Anna Esh) Glick, both of Gap, Jacob S. (Mary Stoltzfus) Glick of Quarryville, Pa.; daughters, Rachel M. and Fanny B. Glick of Leola, Sarah (Jonathan) King of Witmer, Pa.; 39 Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: sons Emery S. and Melvin S. Glick

Burial: Upper Mill Creek Amish Cem., Upper Leacock Twp., Lancaster Co., Pa.

Born: 4-12-1919, Upper Leacock Twp., Lancaster County, Pa.   Died: 4-26-2002, Leola, Pa.

Wife of: Elam S. Glick who was born 4-14-1917, Lancaster Co., Pa. and died 12-28-1996. 

Daughter of: Henry F. and Rebecca Stoltzfoos, Stoltzfus

Mother of: Henry S. (Linda King) Glick of Leola, verna (Elias J.) Beiler of Ronks, Rachel (Amos K.) Stoltzfoos of Paradise, Sadie (Amos S.) Lapp of Leola, and Naomi (Amos K.) Beiler of Millersburg, Pa.

Grandmother of: 28 grandchildren. Great Grandmother of: 34 Great-grandchildren

Preceded in death by: daughter Rebecca Riehl; sisters Ada Lapp, Rachel King, Sadie Smucker, Fannie Glick and a brother Eli Stoltzfus.

Naomi was a member of the Old Order Amish Church

Services were held in the home, 341 Quarry Road, Leola,  on Saturday April 27, 2002, at 9 a.m., followed by burial in Upper Millcreek Cem.

Groff, Rohrer M.
Born: 9-8-1914, East Lampeter Twp., Lancaster Co., Pa.   Died: Fairmount Home, Ephrata, Pa.

Husband of: Mary Stauffer Groff.  Son of: Elmer K. and Edna R. Meck Groff .

Survivors: His wife.  Son, Earl S. (Edith Leaman) Groff of Bird-In-Hand, Pa. Daughters, Miriam S. (John A.) Harnish of Strasburg, Pa., Mary Kathryn (Isaac W.) Gehman of Bowmansville Pa., and Ruth S. (Reynold L.) Zimmerman of Ephrata, Pa. Grandchildren: 9.  Great-grandchildren: 8.
Sisters, Mary Kunkel of Lancaster, Pa. and Ruth E. Groff of Lititz, Pa.

Preceded in death by: Brother Elvin Groff and 2 infant daughters.

Rohrer was a member of Stumptown Mennonite Church, Bird-In-Hand, Pa., where he taught Sunday School.

Services: Stumptown Mennonite Church, 2813 Stumptown Rd., Bird-In-Hand, Pa. on  Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2002, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Donald Sensenig and Rev. John Leaman and Rev. Luke Nolt officiating.  Burial: in Mellinger Mennonit Cemetery, Lancaster, Pa. Family being served by Furman Funeral Home, Leola, Pa.
