Birkey.- Mary Johns, 86, Goshen, Ind., died March 5 of congestive heart failure. Spouse: Melvin Birkey (deceased). Parents: Ira Samuel and Elizabeth Rickert Johns (deceased). Detrick.- Harley Olen, 83, Springs, Pa., died Feb. 8. Spouse: Lucille Maust Detrick. Parents: Dennis and Harriet Beachy Detrick (deceased). Other survivors: children Roger, Kenneth, Barbara Brown, Harriet Berg; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Funeral: Feb. 12 at Springs.

Gregory.- Oma White, 69, Lebanon, Ore., died March 1. Spouse: Paul Gregory. Parents: Charles and Elizabeth Garner White (deceased). Other survivors: children Karen, John, Michael, Clyde, Rodney; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren. Funeral: March 6 at Lebanon Mennonite Church.

Malin.- George Jr., 79, Pocomoke, Md., died Feb. 21, of renal failure. Spouse: Anna Hostetler Malin. Parents: George and Grace Malin (deceased). Short.- Pluma Yoder, 93, Archbold, Ohio, died March 1. Spouse: Sylvan Short (deceased). Parents: Solomon and Mary Neuhauser Yoder (deceased).
