Breneman, Abram G., son of Henry and Anna (Greider) Breneman, was born in Lancaster Co., Pa., Sept. 27, 1877: died at the Oreville Mennonite Home, Lancaster, Dec. 13, 1962; aged 85 y. 2 m. 16 d. He was married to Elizabeth Eshleman, who survives. Also surviving are one son (Chester A.) and 6 grandchildren. He was a member of the Landisville Church. Funeral services were held at the Koser Funeral Home, Dec. 15, in charge of Barton B. Gehman.

Denlinger, Anna B., daughter of the late Levi H. and Susan (Ranck) Brackbill, was born in Lancaster Co., Pa., June 21, 1888; died at the Lancaster (Pa.) General Hospital, Oct. 18, 1962; aged 74 y. 3 m. 27 d. On Dec. 13, 1910, she was married to Walter R. Denlinger, who survives. Also surviving are 3 sons (Lloyd B., J. Irvin, and F. Lester), 10 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Two infant sons preceded her in death. She was a member of the Paradise Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held, in charge of Amos Weaver and Harold Book.

Erb, Clayton B., son of Albert H. and Esther (Brubaker) Erb, was born in Lancaster Co., Pa., Aug. 17, 1881; died at the St. Joseph Hospital, Lancaster, Nov. 8, 1962; aged 81 y. 2 m. 22 d. Surviving are his wife, Ida Long Erb, one son (Lester L.), 2 daughters (Dorothy- Mrs. Martin Thomas and Mildred-Mrs. Frank McMahan), 7 grandchildren 7 great-grandchildren, and one sister (Mrs. Anna Hess). He was a member of the Landisville Church. Funeral services were held at the Koser Funeral Home, Nov. 12, in charge of Christian W. Frank, Barton B. Gehman, and Richard Danner.

Hooley, Wayne, son of Edwin and Mamie (Egli) Hooley, was born near Hubbard, Oreg., Aug. 25, 1909; died of a heart attack at Portland, Oreg., Dec. 7, 1962; aged 53 y. 3 m. 12 d. On May 22, 1937, he was married to Hazel Fisher, who survives. Also surviving are 4 sons (John, Wayne, David, and Rodger), his mother (Mamie Miller), and 3 brothers (Ed, Virgil H., and Hershal). He was a member of the Zion Church, where funeral services were held Dec.11, in charge of John M. Lederach and C. I. Kropf.

MCann, Elmer W., son of Bertha (Townsend) and the late James McCann, was born at Masontown, Pa., Oct. 9, 1914; died in the Robena #3 mine explosion near Carmichaels, Pa., Dec. 6, 1962; aged 48 y. I m. 27 d. He is survived by his mother, his wife (Mary ElIen McCann), 2 sons (Elmer, Jr., and Keith), brothers (Lloyd and William), and one sister (Pauline-Mrs. Robert Denlinger). He was a member of the Masontown Church, where funeral services were held Dec. 13, in charge of Paul M. Roth.

Martin, Larry Lynn, oldest son of William and Dorothy Martin, was born near Wellman, Iowa, Nov. 26, 1937; died as the result of a highway accident on Oct. 15, 1962; age 24 y. 10 m. 19 d. On Nov. 29, 1958, he was married to Joyce Statler, who survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters (Denise Lynn an Debra Lynn), his parents, one brother (Gary), 3 sisters (Bernita-Mrs. Harold Boyts, Carol-Mrs. Ray Bontrager, and Cheryl), and one grandmother (Mrs. Ed Martin). He was member of the Wellman Church, where funeral services were held, in charge of Noah Landis.

Miller, Anna Marie, only daughter of Bennett and Mary Desing, was born at Wellman, Iowa, July 16, 1882; died at her home in Wellman, Oct. 7, 1962; aged 80 y. 2 m. 21 d. On July 25, 1904, she was married to Julius Miller. Surviving are her husband, 6 sons (Everett L., Stanley L., Clarence, Paul, J. Clark and Robert L.), 2 daughters (Lydia-Mrs. Harold Gingerich and Elsie-Mrs. Glen Gingerich), 21 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and her stepmother (Mrs. Vena Gage). She was a member of the Wellman Church, where funeral services were held, in charge of Noah Landis, George Miller, and Max Yoder.

Moyer, Mabel S., daughter of Preston and Emma (Stout) Groover, was born in Hilltown Twp., Pa., May 10, 1895; died of cancer at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Marvin Derstine, Souderton, Pa., Dec. 9, 1962; age 67 y. 6 m. 29 d. On May 9, 1914, she was married to Joseph R. Moyer, who survives. Also surviving are 6 children (Granville G., Pauline-Mrs. Marvin Derstine, Grace-Mrs. Harold DeIp, Blanche-Mrs. Lloyd Kerr, Ann Larue, and J. Laverne), 17 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, 2 sisters (Mrs. J. Wallace Moyer and Mrs. Blanche Trumbore), and one brother (Walter S.). She was a member of the Blooming Glen Church, where funeral services were held Dec. 13, in charge of Richard Detweiler and David Derstine, Jr.

Moyer, Valeria, daughter of Enos F. and Sarah (Myers) Mood, was born in Hilltown Twp., Pa., Feb. 23, 1891; died of a coronary occlusion at her residence in Blooming Glen, Pa., Dec. 3, 1962; aged 71 y. 9 m. 10 d. On Oct. 10, 1915, she was married to Wm. O. Moyer, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter (Sara-Mrs. Samuel Rittenhouse), one son, (Joseph N.), and 3 grandchildren. She was a member of the Blooming Glen Church where funeral services were held Dec. 8, in charge of David F. Derstine, Jr.

Roth, Irvin G., son of Joel and Nancy (Gordner) Roth, was born at Pigeon, Mich., May 20, 1904; died of a heart attack at his home, Clarence Center, N.Y., Dec. 3. 1962; aged 58 y. 6 m. 13 d. On Feb. 14, 1937, he was married to Frances Ribbeck, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons (Joel F. and David L.) and 3 brothers (William, Daniel, and Emerson). He was a member of the Clarence Center Church, where funeral services were held Dec. 6, in charge of Edward Diener and Moses Roth.

Roupp, Dora W., daughter of Daniel and Hattie (Weaver) Hess, was born at Stevens, Pa., March 7, 1882; died at the Bethel Deaconess Hospital, Newton, Kans., after a long illness, Dec 10, 1962; aged 80 y. 9 m. 3 d. 0n Aug. 2, 1902, she was married to Frank G. Roupp, who died May 13, 1956. Surviving are 3 sons and 2 daughters (John Edward, Walter Roy, Paul Ervin, Clara Alice-Mrs. Ray Allison, and Marianna-Mrs. Raymond Ecton), 22 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 5 brothers and 3 sisters (John H., Weaver W., Amos W., Reuben M., Paul W., Minnie-Mrs. James Frazier, Sr., Mrs. Ruth Daubert, and Anna-Mrs. Fritz Hartung). One son preceded her in death. She was a member of the Pennsylvania Church, Hesston, Kans., where funeral services were held, in charge of Donald E. King, assisted by Peter B. Wiebe.

Swartzentruber, Katie, daughter of Yost and Elizabeth (Coblentz) Miller, was born in Holmes Co., Ohio, Oct. 1, 1893; died of a heart attack at her home, Orrville, Ohio, Dec. 12, 1962; aged 69 y. 2 m. 11 d. On Jan. 15, 1915, she was married to Moses J. Swartzentruber, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons (Melvin and Robert Paul), 7 daughters (Alma-Mrs. Emanuel E. Mullet, Edna-Mrs. Elmer Mast, Martha-Mrs. Eli Mast, Erma-Mrs. Wilbur Kropf, Mary-Mrs. Lloyd Gingerich, Esther-Mrs. Willard Mayer, and Katie-Mrs. Marion Stauffer), 36 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, one sister (Mrs. Ben Kauffman), and one half brother (Joe Hershberger). One daughter preceded her in death. Her husband is minister at the East Union Conservative Church, of which she was a member. Funeral services were held at the Pleasant View C.M. Church, Dec. 16, in charge of Paul Kandel and LeRoy Schlabach.

Yingling, Edna, daughter of John and Hannah (Kirkpatrick) Secrest, was born at Dawson, Pa., April 5, 1904; died at the hospital in Mt. Pleasant, Pa., Dec. 11, 1962; aged 58 y. 7 m. 6 d. Her parents, one brother, and one son preceded her in death. Surviving are 7 children (Clarence, Allen, Lyla-Mrs. Donald Broneling, Don, Shirley-Mrs. James Haggerty [with whom she had made her home], John Robert, and Marjorie-Mrs. Ralph Darby), 17 grandchildren, one brother (Clarence), and 3 sisters (Mrs. Mary Sullenberger, Mrs. Viola Gilmore, and Mrs. Roberta Conn). Three weeks prior to her death she confessed her faith in Christ and was received into fellowship of the Scottdale Mennonite Church. Funeral services were held at the Blair Funeral Home, Perryopolis, Pa., Dec. 14, in charge of Gerald Studer.

Birkey, Phoebe, daughter of Joseph and Kathryn Good, was born at Hopedale, Ill., Sept. 5, 1863; died at Eureka, Ill., Dec. 16, 1962; aged 99 y. 3 m. 11 d. On Jan.15, 1882, she was married to Valentine Birkey, who died in Sept., 1928. Surviving are all their 9 children (Mrs. Mollie Zehr, Mrs. Bertha Heiser, Joe, Alvin, Mrs. Katie Zehr, Silas, Joel, Mrs. Ada Foley, and Mrs. Edna Schertz), 3 sisters (Mrs. Sara Beller, aged 93; Mrs. Kate Horsch, aged 91; and Mrs. Mary Birkey, aged 88), 40 grandchildren, 120 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were also 2 sisters, 2 brothers, 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the East Bend Church, where funeral services were held Dec. 19, in charge of Ivan Birkey and J. Alton Horst.

Charles, Frances A., daughter of Hiram and Emma (Laird) Mourer, was horn in East Lampeter Twp., Pa., July 21, 1877; died at the General Hospital, Dec. 15, 1962; aged 85 y. 4 m. 24 d. She was married to Benjamin Charles, who died 32 years ago. Surviving are 3 children (Miriam M., Charles, Hiram M., and Herbert M.), 7 grandchildren, and 4 brothers and sisters (Jacob L., Frank L., Enos L., and Ida L.). She was a member of the East Petersburg Church, where funeral services were held Dec. 18, in charge of Irvin K. Kreider and Christian W. Frank.

Delp, Jacob A., son of Harold and Grace (Moyer) Delp, was born at Sellersville, Pa., April 23, 1950; died of leukemia, after a brief illness, Dec. 16, 1962; aged 12 y. 7 m. 23 d. Besides his parents, he is survived by 2 brothers (James and Jon), a maternal grandfather, and paternal grandparents. Funeral services were held at the Perkasie Church, Dec. 19, in charge of Richard C. Detweiler.

Diller, Rudy Harold, son of Andrew and Nancy (Brenneman) Diller, was born at Elida, Ohio, Oct. 29, 1909; died of a heart attack in the Norfolk (Va.) General Hospital, Nov. 20, 1962; aged 53 y. 22 d. On Dec. 20, 1929, he was married to Dorothy Hartman, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter (Twila-Mrs. Harold Buckwalter), 2 sons (Robert E. and Milford J.), 7 grandchildren, his step-mother (Mrs. Elizabeth Lamb Diller), and one sister (Mrs. Wilbur Brunk). Funeral services were held at the Mt. Pleasant Mennonite Church, Nov. 24, in charge of Amos D. Wenger, Jr., and Robert W. Mast.

Haller, James Roy and Julia Jane, twin son and daughter of Roy and Mary Jane (Horning) Haller, were born and died 7 hours later at the Ephrata Community Hospital, Dec. 15, 1962. Graveside services were held Dec. 17, in charge of Paul Z. Martin.

Henard, Wayne, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Henard, was born at Cheraw, Colo., Feb. 11, 1918; died at Newton, Kans., Dec. 12, 1962, of a cerebral hemorrhage; aged 44 y. 10 m. 1 d. On Sept. 4, 1938, he was married to Erma Shenk, who survives. He was distributor sales manager for Hesston Manufacturing Co. Surviving, besides his wife, are his parents, 2 children (Robert and Ruth Ann), one sister (Ruth-Mrs. Lloyd Kiser), and one brother (Leonard). He was a member of the Hesston Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held Dec. 15, in charge of Peter B. Wiebe and Myron Ebersole.

Jantz, Katie, daughter of Andrew and Susanna (Dirks) Wadel, was born in Marion Co., Kans., Oct. 4, 1891; died at Greensburg, Kans., Dec. 4, 1962; aged 71 y. 2 m. On Dec. 5, 1910, she was married to Solomon B. Jantz, who survives. Also surviving are 9 children (Bernice-Mrs. Frank Schmidt, Wesley, Alice-Mrs. Ross Wayne, Ben, Pauline-Mrs. Allen Diller, Doris-Mrs. Ivan Diller, Wallace, DeWayne. and Melvin), 23 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, one sister (Mrs. John Jantz), one brother (Harry), a stepmother (Mrs. Abe Jantz), and 4 half brothers (Lester, Andy, Jesse, and Frank). She was a member of the Calvary Church, where funeral services were held Dec. 7, in charge of E. M. Yost and H. J. King.

Kropf, Noah D., son of Henry and Fannie (Speicher) Kropf, was born in Holmes Co., Ohio, Dec. 7, 1883; died at the Pleasant View Home, Kalona, Iowa, Dec.10, 1962; aged 79 y. 3 d. On March 22, 1908, he was married to Martha Magdelena Keim, who died in Nov., 1951. Surviving are one son (Emery W.), one sister (Elizabeth Ann-Mrs. Martin L. Miller), 4 grandchildren, and one stepgranddaughter. Two sons and one daughter preceded him in death. He was a member of the East Union Church where funeral services were held Dec.12, in charge of A. Lloyd Swartzendruber, J. John J. Miller, and Max Yoder.

Kulp, Annie H., daughter of John and Catherine (Hackman) Halteman, was born Jan. 26,--; died at Harleysville, Pa., Nov. 4. 1962. On March 13, 1897, she was married to Abram F. Kulp, who died March 22, 1951. Surviving are 3 daughters (Mrs. Lizzie Young, Eva-Mrs. Earl Clemens, and Mary Ellen Kulp), one brother (Milton), and one sister (Mrs. Lizzie Freed). She was a member of the Salford Church, where funeral services were held Nov. 8, in charge of Henry L. Ruth and Willis A. Miller.

Miller, Cora Ellen, daughter of Jonas and Lydia (Brenneman) Otto, was born in Johnson Co., Iowa, Nov. 11, 1905; died after a long illness at her home in Johnson Co., Dec. 12, 1962; aged 57 y. 1 m. 1 d. On Sept. 30, 1930, she was married to Joe B. Miller, who survives. Also surviving are one son and one daughter (Ervin and Amy Jean), 4 grandchildren, her mother, 5 sisters and one brother (Tille, Daniel, Lizzie-Mrs. Sam G. Hochstetler, Mary, Alta-Mrs. Abe Kauffman, and Amy-Mrs. Henry M. Miller). One infant daughter and 2 brothers also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Lower Deer Creek Church, Kalona, Iowa, where funeral services were held Dec. 15, in charge of the home ministers.

Miller, Sarah, daughter of John and Leah (Ramseyer) Sommers, was born at Canton Ohio, July 26, 1880; died at her home near Louisville, Ohio, Dec. 17, 1962; aged 82 y. 5 m. 21 d. On Jan. 10, 1905, she was married to Amos Miller, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons and 4 daughters (Homer, Carl, Edna-Mrs. Armen Stryfeller, Ethel-Mrs. Clarence Stoffer, Wilda-Mrs. Elmer English, and Mrs. Minnie Philips), 22 grandchildren 41 great-grandchildren, one sister and one brother (Mrs. Emma Becher and John E.). She was a member of the Beech Church where funeral services were held, in charge O. N. Johns and Newton Weber.

Orendorf, Annie, daughter of Henry and Mary (Shoemaker) Beitzel, was born near Bittinger, Md., Nov. 19, 1868; died at her home in Bittinger, Oct. 28, 1962; aged 93 y. 11 m. 9 d. She was married to Christian Orendorf who preceded her in death. One son and 3 daughters also preceded her in death. Surviving are 6 daughters (Mrs. Victoria Resh, Mrs. Lena Schwary, Mrs. Alta Burkholder, Mrs. Mary Miller, Mrs. Clara Bittinger, and Susie Orendorf), 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was a member of the Glade Mennonite Church where funeral services were held Nov. 1, in charge of I. K. Metzler and Melvin Beiler.

Reber, Joseph, Sr., son of David and Mary (Swartzendruber) Reber, was born in Johnson Co., Iowa, Sept. 23, 1874; died at his home near Shelbyville, Ill., Dec. 14, 1962; aged 88 y. 2 m. 21 d. On Oct. 30, 1898, he was married to Susie Eigsti, who died June 25, 1924. To this union were born 9 children (one of whom is deceased) (Ora, Mrs. Mary Zoss, Frank Raymond, Mrs. Anna Zoss, Mrs. Lydia Hostetler, Mrs. Katie Ulrich, and Joseph, Jr.). On April 18, 1926, he was married to Sarah Edna Hostetler. To this union was born one daughter (Alice). Also surviving are 27 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters (Mrs. Lizzie Schmucker and Mrs. Nancy Weidlein) and one brother (Noah). He was ordained to the ministry on Oct. 20, 1912, at the Mt. Hermon Amish Mennonite Church, and in 1914 to the office of bishop. Funeral services were held at the church, Dec. 16, in charge of John E. Hostetler and Christy Christner.

Schantz, William J., son of Peter and Katie (Ackerman) Schantz, was born at Fulda, Minn., Sept. 20, 1896; died suddenly of a heart attack at his home in Portland, Oreg., Dec. 14, 1962; aged 66 y. 2 m. 24 d. On March 7, 1948, he was married to Dorothy Yoder, who survives. Also surviving are 5 sisters (Emma-Mrs. Joseph Slagell, Alice-Mrs. John Slagell, Mary-Mrs. Everett Harris, Annie, and Amelia) and one brother (Joe). William spent the greater part of his life in Oklahoma and Kansas. He was a member of the Mennonite Church since early in life. Funeral services were held at the Batman Funeral Home in Oregon, Dec. 18, in charge of Amsa H. Kauffman, assisted by Claud Hostetler. Memorial services were held at the Hydro, Okla., Church at the same hour.

Sommer, Noah C., son of Christian and Barbara (Moser) Sommer, was born near Kidron, Ohio, Feb. 10, 1876; died at the Shady Lawn Nursing Home, Dalton, Ohio, Dec. 13, 1962; aged 86 y. 10 m. 3 d. Three wives preceded him in death: Katie Steffen, Marian Lehman, and Rosena Moser Berg. Three children were born from his marriage to Rosena, two of whom preceded him in death. Surviving are one daughter (Mabel-Mrs. Delbert Turner), 4 stepchildren (Lillie-Mrs. Aldus Wingard, Delphine-Mrs. Ira Amstutz, Rosella-Mrs. James Cukr, and H. Ford Berg), one sister (Mrs. Lina Gerber), 2 grandchildren, and 18 stepgrandchildren. He was a member of the Kidron Church, where funeral services were held Dec. 17, in charge of Reuben Hof-stetter, Bill Detweiler, and Isaac Zuercher.

Stutzman, Agnes, daughter of Emanuel and Elizabeth (Roth) Bender, was born at Milford, Nebr., April 16, 1902; died of cancer at the Seward (Nebr.) Memorial Hospital, Dec. 13, 1962; aged 60 y. 7 m. 27 d. On Dec. 16, 1920, she was married to Fred Stutzman, who died Aug. 10, 1960. Surviving are 6 children (Donald B., Eleanor-Mrs. Leonard Troyer, Doreen -Mrs. Royden Troyer, Lillian-Mrs. Ben Eicher, Robert G., and Merrill L.) and one sister (Katie-Mrs. Ben B. Rediger). She was a member of the Bellwood Church, where funeral services were held Dec. 16, in charge of Ivan R. Lind.

Allebach, Wilson G., son of Joseph Bergey and Urey (Gulick) Allebach, was born in Hilltown Twp., Pa., Jan. 15, 1877; died at the Grand View Hospital, Sellersville, Pa., Dec. 24, 1962; aged 85 y. 11 m. 9 d. On March 29, 1902, he was married to Mamie D. Allebach, who survives. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 1952. Also surviving are 3 children (Ernest, Marian, and Grace). He was a member of the Blooming Glen Church, where funeral services were held Dec. 29, in charge of Linwood Detweiler and David Derstine, Jr.

Boshart, Magdalene, daughter of Daniel H. and Barbara (Gascho) Steinman, was born in Wilmot Twp., Ont., Dec. 17, 1884; died at the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital, Dec. 7, 1962; aged 77 y. 11 m. 20 d. On Jan. 30, 1912, she was married to David Boshart, who survives. Also surviving are 3 sons (Elmer, Delton, and Floyd), 2 daughters (Ruby-Mrs. John Miles and Alice-Mrs. Gerald Riehl), 2 brothers (Daniel and David), 3 sisters (Mrs. Amos Leis, Mrs. Moses Erb, and Barbara), 28 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Steinman Church, where funeral services were held Dec. 10, in charge of Orland Gingerich and Elmer Schwartzentruber.

Brubaker, Fannie R., daughter of Henry N. and Emma (Reist) Hostetter, was born near Mt. Joy, Pa., May 13, 1889; died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Lancaster, Pa., June 14, 1962; aged 73 y. 1 m. 1 d. On Oct. 22, 1914, she was married to Jonas B. Brubaker, who survives. Also surviving are one son (J. Herbert), 2 granddaughters, and 2 sisters (Ella R. Hostetter and Katharine-Mrs. Harry C. Swarr). She was a member of the Mt. Joy Church, where funeral services were held June 18, in charge of Henry W. Frank, Henry F. Garber, and Amos L. Hess.

Detwiler, Sadie Frances, daughter of Gideon and Salina Sharp, was born at Belleville, Pa., March 21, 1878; died at Westover, Md., Dec. 19, 1962; aged 84 y. 8 m. 28 d. On Dec. 25, 1898, she was married to Menno B. Detwiler, who died in 1945. Surviving are 4 sons and 3 daughters (Fred, Vernon, Genevieve-Mrs. O. H. King, Lester, Stella-Mrs. Oliver Ross, Kenneth, and Donna Belle-Mrs. Ora Kauffman), 20 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one sister (Lina-Mrs. Chauncey Zook), and one brother (Elmer). One daughter preceded her in death. She was a member of the Holly Grove Church, where funeral services were held Dec. 23, in charge of Harvey Dixon, Amos C. King, Ira Kurtz, and Abram Minnich.

Eby, Elizabeth M., daughter of Jacob and Nancy (Ebersole) Metz, was born near Winchester, Va., Sept. 2, 1868; died at Lancaster, Pa., Dec. 23, 1962; aged 94 y. 3 m. 21 d. On Nov. 19, 1896, she was married to Amos F. Eby, who died Aug. 21, 1951. Surviving are one son (Luke M.), 4 daughters (Lois-Mrs. Lewis Good, Ruth - Mrs. Reist Mummau, Esther-Mrs. Forrest Glass, and Beulah-Mrs. John Sauder), 18 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. Felpel, Clair H., son of S. Martin and Dorothy R. (Hershey) Felpel, Lancaster, Pa., was born in East Lampeter Twp., Pa., May 15, 1953; died instantly at his home near Lancaster, Pa., of a broken neck, when he attempted to get into a moving farm wagon from the back of a tractor, Oct. 27, 1962; aged 9 y. 5 m. 12 d. Surviving are 4 sisters and one brother (Martha Jane, Ruth Ann, Mervin, Doris Jean, and Norma Faye), and grandparents (Mr. and Mrs. Amos Hershey, and Mr. and Mrs. Harry S. Felpel). One sister preceded him in death. He attended Mellinger's Sunday School. Funeral services were held at Stumptown, in charge of Paul Landis, Lloyd Eby, and Nelson Landis.

Gehman, Moses, son of Noah M. and Hannah (Gehman) Gehman, was born in Lancaster Co., Pa., Feb. 9, 1883; died of a heart attack at his home Dec. 24, 1962; aged 79 y. 10 m. 15 d. He was ordained to the ministry on Sept. 3, 1912, and was active until his death. He preached his fiftieth anniversary message on Aug. 26, 1962, at Bowmansville. His wife, Sallie (Musser) Gehman, who survives, shared the ministry with him. Surviving are one daughter (Esther-Mrs. Elmer Nolt), 4 grandchildren, one sister (Fannie-Mrs. Milton Good), and 2 brothers (Silas and Garson). Two children preceded him in death. Funeral services were held at the Bowmansville Church, Dec. 27, in charge of J. Paul Graybill and Howard Good.

Gingerich, Amos, son of Joseph C. and Catherine (Swartzendruber) Gingerich, was born near Sharon Center, Iowa, July 21, 1880; died of a coronary thrombosis at the Mercy Hospital, Iowa City, Iowa, Dec. 23, 1962; aged 82 y. 5 m. 2 d. On Sept.17, 1905, he was married to Nannie D. Yoder, who survives. In his early years he was a teacher.
In 1909, he was ordained as minister at Versailles, Mo., by Bishop Daniel Kauffman. He served the Mt. Zion congregation at Versailles, and the East Union and West Union congregations at Kalona and Parnell, Iowa. He also served the church as president of the Mission Board of the Missouri-Kansas Conference, as business manager of Hesston College from 1933 to 1939, and served on the Iowa Mennonite School Board for a number of years. Also surviving are 10 children (Charity-Mrs. Menno Troyer, Leroy, Fred, Truman, Eunice May-Mrs. Nelson Histand, Paul E., Orie J., Lois-Mrs. Wallace Bender, Simon, and Clayton), 37 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 3 brothers and one sister (Simon, Joe, Ezra, and Emma). One grandson preceded him in death. He was a member of the West Union Church, where funeral services were held Dec. 26, in charge of John Y. Swartzendruber, Paul T. Guengerich, and Herman E. Ropp.

Gingerich, John, son of Rudolph and Maria (Zehr) Gingerich, was born near Baden, Ont., Jan. 24, 1887; died at the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital, Dec. 9, 1962; aged 75 y. 10 m. 15 d. On Dec. 11, 1919, he was married to Annie Steinman, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons (Orland and Alvin), 2 daughters (Marie-Mrs. Omar Jantzi and Martha-Mrs. Gerald Schwartzentruber), one sister (Mrs. Christ Steinman), and 16 grandchildren. He was a member of the Steinman Church, where funeral services were held Dec. 12, in charge of Elmer Schwartzentruber and Peter Nafzinger.

Jones, Leonard Huston, son of Franklin and Ann (Heatwole) Jones, was born in Rockingham Co., Va., Sept. 2, 1877; died at the Virginia Mennonite Home, where he had been a guest for over two years, Nov. 30, 1962; aged 85 y. 2 m. 28 d. He was married to Lena V. Weaver, who survives. Also surviving are 4 daughters (Irene-Mrs. Robert Swartz, Edna-Mrs. John Harman, Vada-Mrs. James Shank, and Virginia-Mrs. Charles Cline), 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 sisters (Mrs. Etta Knicely, Mrs. Amos Rohrer, and Mrs. Willie Rohrer). He faithfully served his call to the ministry as long as health permitted. Funeral services were held at Weavers Church, Dec. 2, in charge of D. W. Lehman and Ernest Gehman.

Kauffman, Ada H., daughter of Henry and Susan (Harnish) Stauffer, was born at East Petersburg, Pa., March 12, 1884; died at the Lancaster (Pa.) General Hospital, Dec. 13, 1962; aged 78 y. 9 m. 1 d. She was married to Amos L. Kauffman, who survives. Also surviving are one son (Paul S.), 2 stepsons (Ivan D. and John B.), 11 grandchildren, and one brother (Harry H.). She was a member of the East Chestnut Street Church, where funeral services were held Dec. 17, in charge of James M. Shank and Frank M. Enck.

Lantz, D. Parke, son of David and Anna (Blank) Lantz, was born at Gap, Pa., Aug. 15, 1881; died Aug. 10, 1962; aged 80 y. 11 m. 25 d. He was the last of his immediate family and is survived by 6 nieces and nephews. On Nov. 10, 1908, he was married to Lillie Forrey, who died July 8, 1962. (Since both the obituaries of Bro. and Sister Lantz have just been received, we are combining the two.) Mrs. Lantz was the daughter of Daniel N. and Kathryn (Nissley) Forrey, and was born Nov. 1, 1883; died July 8, 1962; aged 78 y. 8 m. 7 d. She is survived by 5 brothers and sisters (John, Mrs. Ellen Lindemuth, Emma-Mrs. J. W. Hollinger, Oliver, and Walter). Both Bro. and Sister Lantz died at the Mennonite Nursing Home, La Junta, Colo., where they had resided for two years. They served for 25 years as missionaries in Argentina, and retired 15 years ago. Both were former residents of Lancaster, Pa., and members of the East Chestnut Street Church.

Martin, Menno W., son of David W. and Anna (Weaver) Martin, was born at East Earl, Pa., Oct. 3, 1904; died in his sleep at his home near Ephrata, Pa., Nov. 18, 1962; aged 58 y. 1 m. 15 d. On Jan. 4, 1927, he was married to Anna G. Martin, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter (Ella M.), one brother (David W.), and one sister (Barbara-Mrs. Adam Oberholtzer). Two brothers and 2 sisters preceded him in death. Due to a muscle condition, he was not able to lead an active life the last years, but was able to attend church services regularly. He was a member of the Springville Church, where services were held Nov. 21, in charge of J. Elvin Martin and Milo Lehman.

Oberholtzer, Christian B., son of Christian H. and Elizabeth (Brubaker) Oberholtzer, was born at Farmersville, Pa., Sept. 3, 1869; died at the Oreville Mennonite Home, Lancaster, Pa., Dec. 15, 1962; aged 93 y. 3 m. 12 d. He was married to Ada May Martin, who died in 1955. Surviving are one son and one daughter (Anna May-Mrs. Victor S. Kress and Clarence M.), 2 grandchildren, and one great-grandson. He was a member of the Landis Valley Church, where funeral services were held Dec. 18, in charge of Ira D. Landis and Levi M. Weaver.

Payne, Alonzo Roy, of Mount Union, Pa., was born at Pocomoke, Md., Oct. 14; 1895; died unexpectedly while visiting at the home of his daughter, Virginia Driver, Harrisonburg, Va., on Dec. 29, 1962; aged 67 y. 2 m. 15 d. His first wife, Grace Zook Payne, preceded him in death. He later was married to Gladys (Roth) Payne, who survives. Also surviving are 8 children (Hilda-Mrs. Clark Yoder, Roy Philip, James, Harriet-Mrs. George Townsend, Paul G., Virginia-Mrs. John Driver, Dorothy, and Richard J.), 12 grandchildren, and one sister (Clara). He was the first minister of the Otelia Mennonite Church at Mount Union, and though retired, continued as a faithful member at that place. Funeral services were held at the church, Dec. 31, with Joseph Esh officiating, assisted by Joseph A. Miller and Raymond R. Peachey.

Schletzbaum, Susan, daughter of Jacob and Katie (Schmucker) Burkholder, was born at Plevna, Ind., Nov. 24, 1870; died at the Mercy Hospital, Moundridge, Kans., Dec. 26, 1962; aged 92 y. 1 m. 2 d. On Oct. 19, 1892, she was married to Joseph Schletzbaum, who died March 10, 1943. Surviving are one son and one daughter (Earl and Mollie-Mrs. William H. Yoder), 4 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one half brother and 2 half sisters (J. R. Burkholder, Mrs. Harly Hartzell, and Mrs. Wm. Leitzel). Four children preceded her in death. She was a member of the West Liberty Church, Inman, Kans., where funeral services were held Dec. 30, in charge of Ed Birkey and Kenneth Smoker.

Schrock, Samuel, son of Peter and Katherine (Roszhart) Schrock, was born at Stuttgart, Ark., June 18, 1885; died at the Brokaw Nursing Home, Normal, Ill., Dec. 26, 1962; aged 77 y. 6 m. 8 d. On Feb. 27, 1923, he was married to Amelia Lehman Roszhart, who survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters (Alice-Mrs. Vernon Miller and Martha-Mrs. Don Smith), one stepson and one stepdaughter (Herbert P. Roszhart and Edna-Mrs. Jerold Rocke), 2 brothers (Joseph C. and Daniel), 3 sisters (Mrs. Emma Guengerich, Mrs. Mary Ann Hochstetler, and Katherine G. Schrock), 10 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandsons. Two brothers preceded him in death. He was a member of the Meadows Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held Dec. 28, in charge of L. E. Troyer.

Schveck, Evelyn B., daughter of Abraham and Catherine (Boorse) Kratz, was born in Montgomery Co., Pa., Feb. 14, 1875; died at her home in Telford, Pa., Dec. 29, 1962; aged 87 y. 10 m. 15 d. On March 18, 1898, she was married to Ervin F. Schveck, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons and one daughter (Lloyd K., Sara K.-Mrs. Harvey H. Kronmaier, and Earl K.), 10 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Franconia Church, where funeral services were held Jan. 2, in charge of Menno Souder, Leroy Godshall, and Curtis Bergey.

Shank, Mattie, daughter of Samuel and Anna (Horst) Carpenter, was born at Maugansville, Md., July 15, 1893; suffered a severe stroke on Nov. 7, 1962, and died at the Chambersburg (Pa.), Memorial Hospital, Dec. 7, 1962; aged 69 y. 4 m. 22 d. On Feb. 4, 1919, she was married. to Clarence S. Shank, who survives. Also surviving are 3 children (Chester R., Merle A., and Ellen-Mrs. Charles Hunsecker), 11 grandchildren, 2 sisters (Fannie-Mrs. C. J. Shank and Mary-Mrs. Joseph Martin), and one half brother (Henry Carpenter). One brother preceded her in death. She was an active member of the Marion (Pa.) Mennonite Church, where she taught a Sunday-school class the last Sunday before her illness. Funeral services were conducted at the church Dec. 11, in charge of J. Irvin Lehman and Walter Lehman.

Steinman, Elvena, daughter of Daniel and Susan Schrag, was born at Baden, Ont., Nov. 14, 1896; died suddenly at her home Dec. 7, 1962; aged 66 y. 23 d. On Jan. 29, 1919, she was married to Simeon Steinman, who survives. Also surviving are one son and 6 daughters (Wilfred, Erma-Mrs. Curtis Sommers, Mildred-Mrs. Howard Ranck, Viola-Mrs. Sydney Iutzi, Helen-Mrs. Oliver Litwiller, Leona-Mrs. Edgar Hoerle, and Doris-Mrs. Donald Krafchek), one brother (Lloyd), and 19 grandchildren. She was a member of the Steinman Church, where funeral services were held Dec. 11, in charge of Elmer Schwartzentruber and Orland Gingerich.

Weaver, Lloyd Raymond, son of Michael and Margaret (McNary) Weaver, was born June 10, 1892; died at the Levering Hospital. Hannibal, Mo., Dec. 30, 1962; aged 70 y. 6 m. 20 d. On Jan. 3, 1914, he was married to Carmen Campbell, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons and one daughter (Lloyd Raymond, Mike, and Melva Ruth Gardner), one brother and one sister (C. J. and Mrs. Edith Rosenburg), and 8 grandchildren. Two brothers preceded him in death. He accepted Christ on his deathbed. Funeral services were held Jan. 2, in charge of Earl B. Eberly.

Wyse, Fred Leroy, son of Simon P. and Caroline (Eicher) Wyse, was born near Wayland, Iowa, Nov. 14, 1893; died of a heart attack at the Detwiler Memorial Hospital, Wauseon, Ohio, Dec. 25, 1962; aged 69 y. 1 m. 11 d. On Nov. 28, 1916, he was married to Mina D. Graber, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter and one son (Bernice-Mrs. Maynard C. Wyse and Wesley E.), 7 grandchildren, one brother and 2 sisters (Leonard, Oletta, and Alta-Mrs. T. W. Stewart). One son and one grandchild preceded him in death. He was a member of the West Clinton Church, where funeral services were held Dec. 27, in charge of E. B. Frey, D. L. Sommers, and Elden Merillat.

Yousey, Minnie, daughter of John and Mary (Yancey) Ulrich, was born in Louis Co., N.Y., July 30, 1888; died at Akron, N.Y., Sept. 13, 1962; aged 74 y. 1 m. 14 d. On April 12, 1913, she was married to John Yousey, who died Nov. 29, 1958. Surviving are 5 sons (Floyd, Edward, Norman, Joseph, and John) and 3 brothers (Peter, John, and Ben). She was a member of the Clarence Center Church, where funeral services were held Sept. 16, in charge of Edward Diener and LeRoy Yoder.

Zapata, Sylvester V., was born at Del Rio, Texas, Dec. 31, 1888; died at Corpus Christi, Texas, while visiting friends, Dec. 9, 1962; aged 73 y. 11 m. 9 d. He had been making his residence in Premont, Texas, while serving as colporteur. He served as pastor of the Alice (Texas) Mennonite Church, 1959-60. Surviving are his wife, Maria Zapata, 2 sons (Gilbert and Robert), 3 daughters (Mrs. Irene Zapata, Mrs. Aurora Hernandez, and Mrs. Hope Zimmerle), 17 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Alice, Texas, in charge of Raul Tadeo; burial service was held at San Antonio, Texas.

Buschert, Mary Edna, daughter of Absalom and Mary (Groff) Snyder, was born in Water-loo Twp., Ont., Jan. 13, 1896; died after a brief illness at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Nov. 24, 1962; aged 66 y. 10 m. 11 d. On Oct. 21, 1923, she was married to Chester Buschert, who died Sept. 18, 1946. Surviving are 3 sons (Robert, Donald, and David), 4 grandchildren, 2 brothers (Oliver and Edward), and 2 sisters (Ida-Mrs. Norman Snider and Emma). One sister preceded her in death. She was a member of the Preston Church, where funeral services were held Nov. 26, in charge of Howard Good and Harold Mast.

Dawson, Joseph Perry, son of William and Sarah Ann (Snyder) Dawson, was born at Van Buren, Mo., April 28, 1895; died at Hannibal, Mo., Dec. 29, 1962; aged 67 y. 8 m. 1 d. He was the youngest and last surviving member of a family of nine children. On June 3, 1920, he was married to Gladys Dreasler, who sur-vives. Also surviving are 2 daughters (Virginia Good and Carolyn) and 7 grandchildren. One daughter preceded him in death. He was a member of the Hannibal Church, where fu-neral services were held Dec. 31, in charge of Earl B. Eberly.

Haarer, infant daughter of Samuel and Wil-ma (Schertz) Haarer, White Pigeon, Mich., was stillborn at Three Rivers (Mich.) Hospital, Dec. 29, 1962. Surviving, besides the parents, are 2 brothers (Timothy Ray and Philip James), the grandparents (Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Schertz, and Mr. and Mrs. William Haarer), and great-grandfather (William Eash). Graveside services, were held Dec. 31 in the Shore Cemetery, with Paul Hunsberger officiating.

Hartzler, Joseph K., son of Isaac and Sarah (Mast) Hartzler, was born near Holmesville, Ohio, Oct. 11, 1863; died at the Orrville (Ohio) Osteopathic Hospital, Jan. 4, 1963; aged 99 y. 2 m. 23 d. On Jan. 1, 1889, he was married to Mary Gingerich, who died May 1, 1942. Sur-viving are 4 children (Ray, Ira, Paul, and Alta-Mrs. Kenneth Conrad), 24 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Two children preceded him in death. He was a member of the Oak Grove Church, where funeral services were held Jan. 7, in charge of Robert W. Otto.

Hershberger, Lydia, daughter of Christian and Catherine Sommers, was born near Wal-nut Creek, Ohio, Feb. 9, 1882; died at the home of her daughter, Berlin, Ohio, Dec. 31, 1962; aged 80 y. 10 m. 12 d. On Jan. 25, 1904, she was married to Adrian Hershberger, who died Oct. 10, 1937. Surviving are one daugh-ter and one son (Nina-Mrs. John Mueller and Leon), 8 grandchildren, one great-grand-child, and one brother (Manasses). One son preceded her in death. She was a member of the Walnut Creek Church, where funeral services were held Jan. 3, in charge of Paul R. Miller.

Hershey, Isaac Eby, son of John B. and Anna (Eby) Hershey, was born in Lancaster Co., Pa., April 20, 1884; died unexpectedly at his home in Lancaster Co., Nov. 4, 1962; aged 78 y. 6 m. 15 d. On Nov. 30, 1905, he was married to Esther Brackbill, who died Dec. 18, 1942. Surviving are 4 sons and 5 daughters (E. Ross, Marian S.-Mrs. Elvin Bare, M. Clair, LeRoy B., J. Musser, Esta M., G. Margaret-Mrs. George Eckman, Dorothy G., and Erma B.), 29 grandchildren, 3 stepgrandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one brother (H. Rine). He was a member of the Hershey Church, where funeral services were held Nov. 7, in charge of Clair Eby, Sanford Hershey, and Martin Hershey.

Leinbach, Lydia, daughter of Isaac and Ma-tilda Lehman, was born in Elkhart Co., Ind., May 11, 1877; died Dec. 28, 1962; aged 85 y. 7 m. 17 d. On Dec. 25, 1898, she was married to Daniel Leinbach, who died April 18, 1955. Surviving are 5 sons and 3 daughters (John, Mrs. Laura Miller, Ruth-Mrs. Harold Hart-man, Ralph, Paul, Oscar, Edith-Mrs. Nelson Stauffer, and Earl), 22 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one brother (Oscar), and 2 sisters (Selina-Mrs. Tobias Ramer and Emma-Mrs. Joel Weaver). She was a member of the Wisler Mennonite Church. Funeral services were held at the Yellow Creek (frame) Church in charge of Jos. Martin and Paul Hoover.

Rupp, Daniel L., son of Henry L. and Catherine (Beck) Rupp, was born near Pettisville, Ohio, Nov. 15, 1881; died at his home near Tedrow, Ohio, Nov. 23, 1962; aged 81 y. 8 d. On July 3, 1902, he was married to Amanda Wyse, who preceded him in death. Surviving are 3 sons and 5 daughters (Ralph, Alfred, Virgil, Alta-Mrs. Milton Shantz, Edith-Mrs. Jeff Stubbins, Leora-Mrs. Kenneth Bachman, Marjorie-Mrs. Oakley Short, and Doris-Mrs. Denver Bachman), 24 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers (Jacob and Harvey), and one sister (Anna-Mrs. Aaron Frey). Zimmerman, Grace M., daughter of Henry E. and Amanda (Martin) Gish, was born in Lancaster Co., Pa., Nov. 8, 1892; died at his home in Florin, Pa., Nov. 30, 1962; aged 70 y. 22 d. On Jan. 7, 1915, she was married to Benjamin B. Zimmerman, who survives. Also surviving are 3 sons (Abner G., L. Henry, and Ralph G.), 2 daughters (Orpah A.-Mrs. Ivan W. Bauman and Esther E.-Mrs. Merritt W. Robinson), 12 grandchildren, and 3 great- grandchildren. On May 28, 1944, she and her husband were ordained to the office of deacon of the Columbia Mennonite Mission, where funeral services were held Dec. 3, in charge of Benjamin C. Baum, Mary, daughter of Abram and Mary (Wismer) Overholt, was born in Bedminster Twp., Pa., June 21, 1884; died at the Eastern Mennonite Home, Sept. 22, 1962; aged 78 y. 8 m. 1 d. On Dec. 18, 1904, she was married to William Baum, who died Oct. 6, 1932. Sur-viving are 2 sisters and one stepbrother. She was a member of the Deep Run Church, where funeral services were held Sept. 26, in charge of Wilson Overholt and Erwin Nace.

Beattie, Myrtle, was born at Vanderbilt, Pa., July 9,1885; died at the Uniontown (Pa.) Hos-pital, Dec. 30, 1962; aged 77 y. 5 m. 21 d. Surviving are 12 children, 55 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and 3 sisters. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ. Fu-neral services were held at the Honsaker Fu-neral Home, Jan. 2, in charge of Paul M. Roth.

Bowman, Peter B., son of Peter and Nancy (Bauman) Bowman, was born in Woolwich Twp., Ont., May 16, 1891; died at the Kitch-ener-Waterloo (Ont.) Hospital, Jan. 1, 1963; aged 71 y. 7 m. 16 d. On March 16, 1920, he was married to Elizabeth Martin, who survives. Also surviving are 3 children (Minerva-Mrs. Elam Brubacher, Elvina-Mrs. Nathaniel Horst, and Elmeta) and one sister (Annie-Mrs. David Martin). He was a member of the Floradale Church, where funeral services were held Jan. 3, in charge of Rufus Jutzi.

Hershey, Landis, son of Peter E. and Anna (Landis) Hershey, was born in Leacock Twp., Pa., Aug. 24, 1867; died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Chester Neff, Ronks, Pa., Dec. 14, 1962; aged 95 y. 3 m. 20 d. On Oct. 25, 1887, he was married to M. Elizabeth Buckwalter, who died Nov. 16, 1891. On Nov. 19, 1893, he was married to Elizabeth K. Leaman, who died July 25, 1935. Surviving are 3 sons and one daughter (Harry, Willis, Ruth-Mrs. Chester Neff, and Clarence), 15 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. On June 14, 1898, he was ordained as deacon, in which office he served for 42 years, until he asked for help. He was a member of Hershey's Church, where funeral serv-ices were held Dec. 18, with Sanford E. Her-shey, Martin R. Hershey, and Clair B. Eby officiating.

Kauffman, Elmer Neff, son of Reuben G. and Amanda (Neff) Kauffman, was born in Lancaster Co., Pa., Feb. 17, 1890; died, after an extended illness, at Manheim, Pa., Jan. 10, 1963; aged 72 y. 10 m. 24 d. On Sept. 28, 1911, he was married to Anna Leaman, who sur-vives. Also surviving are 2 daughters (Mrs. Beatrice Bear and Mrs. Hubert Pellman), 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and one sister (Mrs. D. Ralph Hostetter). He was a member of the East Petersburg Church, where funeral services were held Jan. 13, in charge of Christian Frank and Irvin Kreider.

Knechtel, Janice Marie, daughter of Wilson and Adeline (Zehr) Knechtel, of Mannsville, N.Y., was born Oct. 25, 1957; died of leukemia Dec. 29, 1962; aged 5 y. 2 m. 4 d. Surviving are her parents, 3 sisters (Janelle, Jeanette, and Jolene), one brother (William), grandparents (Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Zehr and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Knechtel) and great-grandparents (Mr. and Mrs. John B. Moser and Mr. and Mrs. Chris Yancey). Funeral services were held at the Woodville Church, in charge of Norman Lyndaker and Andrew Gingerich.

Metzler, Ralph R., son of Mrs. Emma Reist Metzler and the late Monroe H. Metzler, was born near Manheim, Pa., June 9, 1905; died suddenly of a coronary occlusion at his home in Manheim, on Dec. 28, 1962; aged 57 y. 6 m. 19 d. On Aug. 18, 1927, he was married to Edith A. Mellinger, who survives. Also surviving are his mother, one daughter (Janet F.-Mrs. Charles H. Leaman), 3 grandchildren, and 2 brothers (Clarence and Norman). He was a member of the Erisman Church, where funeral services were to be held on Dec. 31, but due to drifted roads had to be postponed until Jan. 2. Funeral services were in charge of Howard Witmer and Homer Bomberger.

Mishler, Enos, son of Isaac and Lydia (Kenall) Mishler, was born in Lagrange Co., Ind., Jan. 10, 1878; died at Froh Bros. Homestead, Sturgis, Mich., Jan. 9, 1963; aged 84 y. 11 m. 30 d. On Nov. 20, 1897, he was married to Lovina Mehl, who died May 15, 1943. Three children preceded him in death. Surviving are 9 children (Nina Grace-Mrs. William Baer, Hazel Marie-Mrs. Harry Schrock, Clem Clifford-, Lucinda Ruth-Mrs. Frank Ropp, Dorsey, Rachel Irene-Mrs. Charles Tyson, Erma Ruby-Mrs. Earl Pettet, Esther Katherine-Mrs. Dory Nelson, and Beulah Bernice-Mrs. Golan Yoder), 43 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchil-dren, 3 brothers (Wesley, Milo, and Frank), and one sister (Matilda-Mrs. William Leh-man). He was a member of the Forks Church, where funeral services were held Jan. 12, in charge of Donald E. Yoder and Earley C. Bontrager.

Schmucker, Jacobena, daughter of Eli and Anna (Farey) Schmucker, was born at Middlebranch, Ohio, Oct. 12, 1888; died at Louis-ville, Ohio, Jan. 6, 1963; aged 74 y. 2 m. 25 d. She was a practical nurse and took care of many old people. Surviving are 2 sisters (Eva and Della-Mrs. Oscar Hostetter) and 2 broth-ers (Eli and Edwin). She was a member of the Beech Church, where funeral services were held Jan. 8, in charge of Newton S. Weber, assisted by O. N. Johns.

Slaubaugh, John Henry, son of Henry and Magdelena Slaubaugh, was born in Iowa Co., Iowa, April 2, 1879; died at Shenk's Nursing Home, Wellman, Iowa, Dec. 31, 1962; aged 83 y. 8 m. 29 d. On Oct. 15, 1902, he was married to Vena Miller, who survives. Also surviving are 2 brothers (William and Milton). Three brothers and 4 sisters preceded him in death. He was a member of the West Union Church, where funeral services were held Jan. 3, in charge of Herman E. Ropp, Paul E, Yoder, and Ezra Shenk.

Smoker, Sharon S., daughter of Reuben Z. and Esther P. (Stoltzfus) Smoker, was born at Ephrata, Pa., Feb. 17, 1961; died at the Ephrata Community Hospital, of pneumonia, Jan. 3, 1963; aged 1 y. 10 m. 17 d. Surviving are her parents, 2 brothers (Mahlon and Lloyd), 2 sisters (Darlene and Karen)-her twin, and her grandparents (Mr. and Mrs. John S. Stoltzfus and Mr. and Mrs. John F. Smoker). Funeral services were held at the Conestoga Church, Jan. 5, in charge of Ira Kurtz and Harvey Stoltzfus,

Spangler, Lydia, daughter of Jacob L. and Elizabeth (Martin) Horst, was born at Hagers-town, Md., Feb. 16, 1887; died July 16, 1962; aged 75 y. 5 m. She was married to Arthur H. Spangler, who survives. Also surviving are 4 sons and 3 sisters (Elizabeth Mellinger, Fan-nie Horst, and Katie H. Layman). She was a member of the Groffdale Church, where funer-al services were held, in charge of the home ministers.

Weaver, Debra Joy, daughter of Levi H and Mildred S. (Hershey) Weaver, was born at Bath, N.Y., Dec. 27, 1960; died of an abnormal growth of the tonsils and adenoids, Dec. 3, 1962; aged 1 y. 11 m. 6 d. Surviving are her parents, 2 brothers and one sister (Timothy D., John H., and Carol Sue), her grandparents (Mr. and Mrs. D. Paul Hershey and Mr. and Mrs. Levi M. Weaver), and great-grandmothers. Funeral services were held at the Pleasant Valley Church, Dec. 5, in charge of Donald Lauver and Carl Christman.
