Bauman, Enoch E., son of Enoch and Veronica (Martin) Bauman, was born in Woolwich Twp., Ont., Nov. 13, 1890; died at the K & W Hospital, Kitchener, Ont. Of heart failure, June 10, 1970; aged 79 y. 6 m. 27 d. He was married to Eleanor Snyder, who preceded him in death. He was later married to Ida Brubacher, who also preceded him in death. Surviving are two children (Robert Lee and Fern Mrs. Leonard Martin), five grandchildren, and three brothers (Daniel, Clayton, and Clarence). He was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters. He was a member of the Erb Street Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held June 13, with J. B. Martin officiating; interment in the Breslau Mennonite Cemetery.

Buch, Harvey K., son of Aaron W. and Lizzie (Kulp) Buch, was born at Millway, Pa., Dec. 21, 1892; died at the Fairview Manor Convalescent Home, Columbia, Pa., after a six-month illness, June 18, 1970; aged 77 y. 5 m. 27 d. On Nov. 17, 1914, he was married to Anna M. Buckwalter, who died Dec. 6, 1965. Surviving are one daughter (Helen Mrs. David R. Smoker), 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, one brother (Charles K.), and two sisters (Earla Mrs. Clarence Greenly and Bertha Mrs. Isaac Shirk). He was a member of the Lyndon Mennonite Church. Cobb, Jerry and Terry, twin sons of Daniel and Janice (Short) Cobb, were born at Wauseon, Ohio, June 10, 1970, and died the same day. Dertstine, Flora, daughter of Noah and Mary (Moyer) Moyer, was born at Morwood, Pa., Aug. 1, 1893; died at Sellersville, Pa., of bronchial pneumonia, June 7, 1970; aged 77 y. 10 m. 6 d. Livengood, Wayne E., son of Homer and Effie (King) Livengood, was born at Springs, Pa., July 17, 1926; died suddenly while at work at Grays Landing, Pa., June 16, 1970; aged 43 y. 10 m. 29 d. He is survived by his wife Betty (Voithofer) Livengood, one daughter (Judith), one son, (Mark), one sister (Viletta Mrs. Jacob Coblentz), and three brothers (Willard, Kirk, and Oren). Miller, J. Frank, son of Eli and Lucy (Mast) Miller, was born in Kokomo, Ind., July 15, 1886; died at Goshen, Ind., June 1, 1970; aged 83 y. 11 m. 16 d. On Jan 12, 1907, he was married to Ella Shaffer, who died in 1957. On Mar. 22, 1958, he was married to Maggie Blosser, who survives. Peachey, Ada, daughter of Levi and Emma (Glick) Kauffman, was born at Belleville, Pa., Nov. 21, 1908; died at Belleville, Pa., Jan. 13, 1970; aged 61 y. 1 m. 22 d. Roth, Lizzie C., daughter of Christian R. and Mary (Conrad) Gerig, was born at Wayland, Iowa, Aug. 2, 1891; died at her home in Lebanon, Ore., of a heart condition, May 23, 1970; aged 78 y. 9 m. 21 d. On Sept. 3, 1916, she was married to Daniel A. Roth, who survives. Also surviving are five sons (Lloyd, Glenn, Orie, Wilmer, and Ivan), 18 grandchildren, 3 brothers (Amos, Ben, and Henry). Shank, J. W., son of Mr. And Mrs. Lewis Shank, was born at Versailles, Mo., Oct. 10, 1881; died at the Bethel Deaconess Hospital, Newton, Kan., May 17, 1970; aged 88 y. 7 m. 7 d. On Aug. 11, 1910, he was married to Emma Hershey, who preceded him in death. On Feb. 5, 1942, he was married to Selena Gamber, who survives. He served as a missionary to South America. He had also served one year at the Chicago Mennonite Mission and four years as a Spanish teacher at Eastern Mennonite College. Surviving are 2 sons (Robert J. and Paul D.) and one daughter (Elsie Mrs. David Castillo), five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and one sister (Mrs. Earl Buckwalter). He was a member of the Hesston Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held May 20, in charge of Peter Wiebe, assisted by Nelson Litwiller; interment in the Zimmerdale Cemetery.
Short, Aaron P., son of Peter D. and Catherine (Newhouser) Short, was born near Archbold, Ohio, Dec. 22, 1881; died at Wauseon, Ohio, as a result of a stroke, June 10, 1970; aged 88 y. 5 m. 18 d. On Feb. 22, 1906, he was married to Verena Yost, who died June 25, 1955. Surviving are 4 daughters (Lucinda Mrs. Jacob Riegsecker, Clara Mrs. Willard Richer, Irene Mrs. Clifford Nofziger, and Alice Mrs. Joseph Short), one son (Kenneth), 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 4 stepgrandsons, 15 stepgreat-grandchildren, and one sister (Mrs. Ida Stamm). One son (Stanley) preceded him in death. He was a member of the Central Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held June 13, with Charles H. Gautsche and Olen E. Nofziger officiating; interment in the Pettisville Cemetery.
Weyant, Irvin E., son of George and Rosie (Sarver) Weyant, was born in Bedford Co., Pa., Mar. 11, 1885; died at New Paris, Pa., Apr. 10, 1970; aged 85 y. 30 d. On Nov. 12, 1907, he was married to Amanda Eash, who died Aug. 12, 1956. On May 3, 1963, he was married to Bernadine Blough, who survives. Also surviving are three sons (Charles, John, and Frank), one step-son (Charles Noon), 7 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Two sons and four sister preceded him in death. She was married to Samuel Blosser, who died May 5, 1970. Surviving are 2 daughters (Eva Mae and Sylvia), 7 sons (Glen, Ervin, Ray, Vance, Marvin, Collis, and Clyde), 12 grandchildren, 2 sisters (Mrs. Ada Smiley and Mrs. Mary Martin), and 3 brothers (Arthur, Ernest, and Charles Craig). She was preceded in death by one son (Carl Edward). She was a member of the Hildebrand Church, where funeral services were held May 24, with Marion Weaver and Roy Martin officiating; interment in the nearby cemetery.
Blosser, Samuel Oliver, son of Samuel H. and Emma (Shiffett) Blosser, was born in West Rockingham, Co., Va., Nov. 26, 1891; died May 5, 1970; aged 78 y. 5 m. 9 d. He was married to Fannie Craig, who died May 22, 1970. Grieser, Benjamin Raymond, son of Ben and Anna (Oswald) Grieser, was born at Beemer, Neb., Sept. 18, 1904; died at St. Mary's Hospital, Detroit Lakes, Minn., June 22, 1970; aged 65 y. 9 m. 4 d. On Feb. 5, 1931, he was married to Ruby Erb, who survives. Also surviving are one son (Duane), one daughter (Barbara Mrs. John Towes), 6 grandchildren, 6 sisters (Mrs. Lizzie Miller, Mrs. Lena Birky, Mrs. Anna Erb, Mrs. Mary Erb, Mrs. Rose Waters, and Mrs. Kathryn Kerler), and 2 brothers (Chris and Dan). He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers (Jacob, Peter, Simon, and Joseph). On Nov. 24, 1946, he was ordained to the office of deacon in the Lake Region cong. Hunsberger, John Paul, son of Arlin and Naomi (Derstine) Hunsberger, was born at the Goshen (Ind.) Hospital, June 2, 1970; died the same day. On Dec. 6, 1922, she was married to Harry G. McMichael, who died Oct. 26, 1954. Surviving are 4 children (H. Mervin, David H., Elvin H., and E. Arlene Mrs. Norman B. Moser, Andrew R., son of Daniel and Lena (Roggie) Moser, was born at Croghan, N. Y., Dec. 7, 1897; died at his home near Copenhagen, N.Y., June 15, 1970; aged 72 y. 6 m. 8 d. On Aug. 15, 1923, he was married to Emma Widrick, who survives. Also surviving are 3 daughters (Lorena Mrs. Nelson Moser, Florence Mrs. Wilbur Jantzi, and Sharon Mrs. Delvin Mast), 3 sons (Elmer, Elton, and Ellis), 33 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Stutzman, Ammon, son of Harvey N. and Sarah (Stoltzfus) Stutzman, was born near Wood River, Neb., Feb. 3, 1912; died at his home near Wellman, Iowa, June 6, 1970; aged 58 y. 4 m. 3 d. On Oct. 11, 1933, he was married to Dortha Yoder, who survives. Swarm, Herbert S., was born near Elkhart, Ind., Nov, 18, 1903; died at Elkhart, Ind., May 13, 1970, following an extended illness; aged 66 y. 5 m. 25 d. He was married to Mary Ferison, who survives. On Apr. 20, 1918, he was married to Susie Miller, who survives.
