Mrs. Seawright D[i]es Sunday at Age of 91
Mrs. Elizabeth Seawright died at her home at Melbourne Sunday, at the
age of 91. She was born at Big Flat, and her early life was spent
in Baxter and Stone counties. She moved to Culp from Melbourne
about 18 years ago and moved back to Melbourne five years ago.
Deceased was a member of the Mennonite church.
Surviving, are her husband, Alfred Seawright; two step-sons, Minor
Seawright of Flippin and Roy Seawright of Gainesville, Mo., and a
step-daughter, Mrs. Nancy Harp of Tulsa, Okla.
Funeral services we[re] conducted Monday afternoon by Rev. Frank Horst,
pastor of the Bethel Springs Mennonite Church, of Culp. Burial
was in the Melbourne cemetery with the Roller Funeral Service in charge
of arrangements.
Note by Mary Lou Yoder, granddaughter: Elizabeth Seawright died June 6,
1947 at Melbourne AR. She was a member of the Bethel Springs Mennonite
Church at Culp AR.

Stauffer, Mary M. Brubaker
Mrs. Mary M. Stauffer, sixty,
wife of Eli Stauffer, Murrell, Ephrata R. 3, died at her home at
midnight, last Thursday, [Mar. 1, 1947] of a cerebral hemorrhage,
according to Dr. Arthur E. Martin, New Holland, deputy coroner, who
investigated.
A daughter of the late Jacob and Elizabeth Martin Brubaker, she was a
member of Pike's Mennonite church.
Besides her husband she is survived by the following children: Emma,
wife of Levi F. Zimmerman, New Holland, R. 1: Daniel, Elizabeth, wife
of Paul W. Sensenig, Mrs. Lydia Stauffer, all of Ephrata, R.3; Aaron,
Denver, R. 1; Amos, Ephrata, R. 3; Phares, New Holland, R. 2; Katie,
Mary, Susie and Eli, all at home; also 36 grandchildren and these
Brothers and sisters, Peter Brubaker, Narvon, R. 1; Henry Brubaker of
Lowville, Md.; Amos and Christian Brubaker, West Montrose, Ontario,
Canada; Mrs. Barbara Martin, St. Jacob's, Ontario, Canada; and the Rev.
Isaac Brubaker, S____, Wash.
Funeral services were held from the late home, on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
with further services at Pike's Mennonite Church at 2:30 o'clock.
Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery.
