MAST.- Christian J., son
of Joseph J. and Fannie ( Lehman ) Mast, was born May 22, 1897, at
Middlebury, Ind. Died Nov. 26, 1972, at his home in Kalona, Iowa. Age
75 years, 6 months, 4 days. On Mar. 6, 1919, he married Lena F. Nissley
near Conway Springs, Kansas, living in matrimony over 53 years. He is
survived by his sorrowing companion, three sons and three daughters:
Mrs. Benedict J. (Fannie) Yoder, Shipshewana, Ind.; Mrs. Andrew
(Elizabeth) Bontrager, Haven, Kansas; Leander, Timbo, Ar-kansas; Mrs.
Daniel (Anna) Yoder, Sa-lem, Ore.; Daniel, Kalona, Iowa; and Mose,
Lebanon, Oregon. Also 23 grand-children, 1 great-grandchild, 6 step
grand-children and 12 step great-grand-child-ren. Three brothers: Eli,
Chouteau, Okla.; John, Jamesport, Mo.; and Levi, Harper, Kansas; with
many other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his
parents, 1 sister, 8 brothers (3 died in infancy), and 1 grandchild. He
lived in Kansas until 1946, when they moved to Iowa. Services were held
in the Levi D. Yoder home in Kalona on Nov. 30, 1972, by William Mast
and Raymond Schrock, both of Blair Wisconsin. Burial in East Union
Cemetery.

MILLER.-
Dala. daughter of Eli J.
and
Mattie (Miller) Gingerich, was born Oct. 20, 1895, near Arthur, Ill.
Died May 21, 1972, at Uniontown, Ohio, at the age of 76 years, 7
months, and 1 day, after am extended illness of hardening of the
arteries and flu.
She accepted Christ as her Saviour in her youth and was a faithful
member of the King Amish Mennonite Church, and expressed a desire 20
leave this sinful world to be with her Lord.
On Jan. 28, 1919, she was married to Levi D. J. Miller, at Berlin, Ohio.
She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband and 4 sons; Menno and
Andrew of Seymour, Mo., Eli of Goshen, Ind., and Daniel of Uniontown,
Ohio; a foster Son, Robert Vogt, Lockport, New York; 23 grandchildren
and 3 great-grandchildren. Also 2 brothers and 2 sisters: Joe E.
Gingerich, Harrisburg, Ore.; Lando Gin-gerich, Kalona, Iowa; Fannie
Hershberger and Mrs. Dan (Ella) Troyer, Millersburg, Ohio; and a foster
sister, Mrs. Elmer (Verna) Miller, Kalona, Iowa. She was preceded by
her parents; 3 brothers. Mike, Eli and Abner; and 2 sisters, Amanda and
Lovina.
Services in the home by Min. Elmer Yoder, at the church by Dish. Andrew
Lapp, Min. Enos Miller -and Attlee E. Miller, all in German, and Roman
Wagler in English. Burial in the church cemetery.
The family expresses their thanks for help and sympathy given during
the sick--ness and death.

Miller.
- Fannie (Beachy) dau. of Benjamin and Faronica
(Herschberger) Beachy, was born Jan. 7, 1899; died Sept. 24, 1972; aged
73 years, 8 months, 17 days. She was married to Bish. Menno S. Miller,
Feb. 2, 1922, who survives; they lived in matrimony over 50 years. To
this union were born 12 children; 6 sons and 2 daughters survive:
Jacob, Alvin, Dave, and Harvey of Arthur, Ill.; Albert of Arcola, Ill.;
Ervin of Elkhart, Ind.; Mrs. Emanuel L. (Katie Ann) Troyer of Dun-dee,
Ohio; and Lizzie Marie at home; also 37 grandchildren, and 4 brothers,
Enos, Emanuel and Attlee of Sugarcreek, Ohio, and Alvin of Baltic,
Ohio. Her brother Enos died 2 days later. She was preceded in death by
her parents, 3 sons, 1 daugh-ter, 1 granddaughter, 3 brothers, and 4
sisters.
Services were held Sept. 27, by Bish. Dan N. Yoder and Min. Alvin A.
Herschberger both from Ohio, in her son Harvey's home; and Min, Eli J.
Stutzman of Ill., and Min. Jacob Miller of Ohio in a neighbor's home.
Burial in Miller cemetery near Arthur. Illinois.

Miller.
- Henry B. Miller of Arcola, Ill., was born in Illinois on Dec.
17, 1890, died Jan. 12, 1972, aged 81 years, 25 days, a member of the
O. T. Amish Church. Son of the late Benjamin and Mattie (Coblentz)
Miller. He is survived by his wife, the former Elizabeth Otto, and 4
children, (Mary) Mrs. Alvin N. Schrock, Levi, Sam-uel, and Lewis, also
3 brothers, Ammon, Levi, Adlai, and 1 sister, Mrs. Lucy Yoder, also 32
grandchildren and 39 great-grand-children. One daughter and two wives
predeceased him.
Services were held in the home of his son Samuel, Jan. 15, 1972, by
Pete Eicher of Loogootee, Ind., and Jake R. Troyer of Fredericksburg,
Ohio. Chriss Bontrager of Illinois and John Graber of Grabill, Ind. In
the small house. Burial in Otto Ceme-tery near Arthur, Illinois.

MILLER.- Jacob E. of Arthur, Ill.
son of Ephraim and Anna (Christner) Miller, was born Sept. 9, 1884; and
died July 3, 1972, at the ;age of 87 years, 7 months and 24 days. He
was ordained to the ministry in the O. O. Amish Church in 1914.
He is survived by 2 sons and 9 daugh-ters. They are Pete of
Shipshewana, Ind.; Ezra of White Pigeon, Mich.; Mrs. Katie Troyer of
Shipshewana, Ind.; Mrs. Susie Helmuth, Mrs. Dora Bender, Mrs. Lydia
Herschberger, all of Middlebury, Ind.; Mrs. Anna Graber and Mrs. Mary
Kaufman of Arthur, Ill.; Mrs. Esther Hochstedler; Bremen, Ind.; and
Mrs. Amanda Yoder Goshen, Ind. He is also survived by two brothers,
Peter and Ezra; one sister; Clara; 66 grandchildren, 124
great-grand-children, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded
in death by 3 wives, 2 daughters, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.
Services were held in the home on July 5, by Bish. Norman Schrock of
Oakland, Md., Bish. Jerry Yoder, Garnett, Kans., and Bish. Henry A.
'Miller, Arthur, Ill. In the crib by Mins. Ephraim and Levi Riehl
Lancaster County, Pa. Burial in the Otto Cemetery near Arthur, Ill.
