MILLER.
- Saloma J., daughter of the late John D. and Lizzie D. (Beachy)
Miller of Arthur, Ill., was born Apr. 23, 1907; and died Sept 6, 1979;
at the age of 72 years, 4 months and 13 days. Survivors are 3 sisters,
Sarah Yoder of Arthur, Ill.; Lydia Schrock of Arcola, Ill.; Anna of the
home; two brothers, Samuel of Arthur, and Obed of Westphalia, Kans.;
also a number of nieces and nephews. Those preceding her in death, her
parents, a sister, Fannie, and a brother, Amos. Services were held on
the home place Sept. 8, by Bishop Amos, Otto and Min. Harvey Chupp and
Amos Miller. Burial in Otto Cemetery one-half mile south of Arthur,
Illinois.

MILLER.-
Stephen J. was born to Joseph T. and Rhoda (Kauffman) Miller on
June 10, 1973, near Kalona, Iowa. He passed away suddenly at his home
at the age of 6 years, 5 months and 11 days. He had a sweet and
cheerful disposition with many questions concerning the heavenly home.
He leaves to mourn his early departure his parents; 2 brothers, Roman
and Truman; 1 sister, Elizabeth; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
Truman W. Miller and Mr. and Mrs, Abe Kauffman; and a
great-grandmother, Mrs. Noah Miller; all of Kalona, Iowa. Also 5 uncles
and 9 aunts, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services were held in the Raymond Brenneman home by Min. Eli Byler of
Milton, Iowa, and Lester B. Miller of the home congregation; in an
apple shed by Bishop Elmer T. Miller of Kalona, and Fred J. Yoder of
Bloomfield, Iowa; burial in north Gingerich Cemetery north of Kalona.
