Inez Zaerr, 96, Archbold, died
Thursday evening, Jan. 1l, 1996, at the Fulton County Health Center in
Wauseon, where she was admitted that morning. She bad resided at
Fairlawn Haven, Archbold, about one year.
Born Nov. 14, 1899, near Archbold, she was a
daughter of Aaron and Sarah (Rupp) Short. She married William Raymond
Zaerr on Feb. 5, 1918, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 1986. A
lifelong resident of the Archbold area, she was a homemaker, and a
volunteer at Sauder Farm and Craft Village. She was a member of the
Central Mennonite Church.
Surviving are three sons, Maurice Zaerr, Archbold;
Wayne (Sue) Zaerr, Swanton; and Eugene (Arlene) Zaerr, Archbold; one
daughter, Mrs. Dale (Vienna) Fielitz, Archbold; 20 grandchildren; 36
great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Earl
Short, Stryker; two sisters, Ruth Short, and Mrs. Willard L. (Marie)
Short, Archbold.
Services were Monday, 10:30 a.m., at the Central
Mennonite Church with Charles Gautsche, Wilmer Hartman and Lois
Hartman, as the officiating pastors. Burial was in the Pettisville
Cemetery.
