Virginia Irene Aschliman, 67, rural Wauseon, died
Thursday, Oct. 16, 1997, at her home.
Born Jan. 28, 1930, in Pettisville, she was the daughter
of Lawrence and Lucretia (Sauder) Rupp.
In 1950, She married Ralph Aschliman, who survives.
She worked with her husband for more than 20
years at the Maple Hill Farm, in egg production. She
then worked for Gendron, Inc., before
joining S-W mills as an office manager. She was a charter member of the

Aschliman, and James (Cindy) Aschliman, both of Wauseon [and Larry];

daughters, Mrs. Stan (Cara Lou) Grieser, Archbold; and Jane Schwind,
Waterville; two brothers, Marlin Rupp, Pettisville; and Glenden Rupp,
Wauseon;
three sisters, Mrs. Dale (Geneva) Wyse, Archbold; Mrs. Glenn (Mabel)
Kauffman,
Wauseon; and Mrs. Douglas (Janette) Yoder, Goshen, Ind.; and 18
grandchildren.

Frances M. Beck, 92, Archbold, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 1997,
at Heartland of Wauseon, where she had resided since April 5, 1997.
Born Jan. 25, 1905, near Wauseon, she was the daughter of
Aaron and Jemima (Aeschliman) Klopfenstein, and married Harley Beck on
March
31, 1931. She lived in the Archbold area
the past 66 years and was a member of the
Survivors include her husband, Harley; three sons,
Charles (Arva) Beck, Donald D. (Romaine) Beck, and Vern (Mary Lou)
Beck, all of
Archbold; one daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Arlene) Zaerr, Archbold; 14
grandchildren;
a brother, Arthur Klopfenstein, Wauseon; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel
Stuckey,
Archbold; and Doris Klopfenstein, Wauseon.
Services are tomorrow, Thursday, at 10 a.m. at the

Surviving are three daughters, Frances B. Brubaker, Port Trevorton, Dorothy B. Hoffman, Middleburg, and Virginia L. Blakely, Middleburg; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was the last of her immediate family.
The funeral service was conducted Thursday from the George P. Garman Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant Mills, with Rev. Orval C. Graybill officiating, assisted by Rev. Gary Krabill. Interment was made in the Richfield Union Cemetery, Richfield.
