Kaufman, Connie Milliken
March 30, 1958 - August 14, 2002

Kaufman, Connie Milliken, 44, Orville, Ohio, died Aug. 14, 2002, at Dunlap Hospital in Orrville, following a long illness. She was born on March 30, 1958, in Norton to Thomas O. and Beulah "Billie" (Rutan) Milliken. She married David N. Kaufman on Dec. 29, 1994 in Wooster, Ohio.

Survived by her husband, and sons, Daniel "Dan" Brannon and John Monahan, a daughter, Erin Brannon, her mother, Beulah M. "Billie" Milliken, all of Orrville; five grandsons; a brother, Timothy I. Milliken of Barberton and sisters, Yvonne (Keith) Sisk of Orrville and Sherry Miller Boothe of Safe Harbor, Fla

Memorial services were Aug 18, 2002 at Martins Mennonite Church near Orrville, Ohio with the Rev. Randy Murray officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Auble Funeral Home in Orrville, Ohio.

King, Lizzie F
.

Born: 9-29-1902, Ronks, Pa.  Died: 11-4-2002, Narvon, Pa.

Daughter of: Christian B. & Sarah Fisher King.  Survivors: Sister, Sarah King of Ronks, Pa. Neices: 2.  Nephews: 6

Preceded in death by four sisters, Barbara, Lydia, Katie and Fannie King and one brother, Samuel F.King.

Lizzie was a self-employed seamstress.  She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Services: Amos E. Fisher residence, 2687 S. Cherry Lane, Ronks, Pa., at 11 a.m. on Wednesday.  Interment Beiler Amish Cemetery,
Ronks, Pa.

Kooker, Florence Mitman
September 17, 1920-August 14, 2002

Kooker, Florence Mitman, 81, died Aug. 14, 2002, at Souderton Mennonite Homes where she had lived since 1998. She was born in Hilltown Township to Elmer F. and Martha (Delp) Mitman and married Abram A. Kooker. He died in 1996.

Surviving are her sons, Bruce M. (Sheryl) Kooker of Apple Creek. Harley M. (M. Kate) Kooker of Lancaster, Co., a daughter, Karen (Marvin) Landis of Trumbauersville, seven grandchildren, sisters, Dorothy (Joseph) Ruth of Telford and Ruth (Earl) Godshalk of Blooming Glen.

A son, Harold M. Kooker, died in 1973. A grandson and a sister, Margaret Souder, also died previously.
Services will be Aug 17, 2002 at Rockhill Mennonite Church, Telford, PA. Burial will follow at the adjoining cemetery.

Kreider, Charles H.
, 73, of Mount Joy, PA died February 2, 2002 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Elizabeth Twp., Lancaster Co., PA to Benjamin S. and Lizzie B. Huber Kreider. Charles was married to Helen Bollinger Kreider for 50 years on April 15.

Before retiring in 1993, Charles was a dairy farmer on his family's Mount Joy Township farm. Charles was a member of Hammer Creek Mennonite Church in Lititz.

Surviving is his wife, Helen and two sons, C. Lynn, married to Ginnie G. Paulson Kreider of Elizabethtown, PA and Nevin L. of Lititz; PAQ; three daughters, Laverne, married to Clair N. Oberholtzer of Elizabethtown, PA; Sharon Weinhold of Lancaster, PA and Nancy, married to Carl C. Douthit of York, PA; 11 grandchildren; a great-grandson; a step-granddaughter, five brothers, Wilmer H., married to Lois Kreider, and Landis H., married to Arlene Kreider, both of Elizabethtown, PA; Paul H., married to Marian Kreider of Lititz, PA; Benjamin H., married to Esther Kreider of Annville, PA and Earl H., married to Betsy Kreider of East Earl, PA; and two sisters, Ruth H. Kreider of Lancaster, PA and Ellen H., married to George Bennett of Lebanon, PA.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd H. Kreider.

Funeral Service was February 6, 2002 at Hammer Creek Mennonite Church, with ministers Fred G. Heller, Wilmer S. Musser and Samuel S. Burkholder. Burial was in Hammer Creek Mennonite Cemetery, Lititz, PA.

Kreider, Rosanna H. Hershey, 88, formerly of Ironville and 1931 Willow Street Pike, died January 14, 2002 at the Mennonite Home Lancaster, PA. She was born in Kinzers, PA to Harry P. and Anna Mae (Rutt) Hershey. Her husband, G. Frank Kreider, died in 1969.

Rosanna was a member of Willow Street Mennonite Church, where she was a former Sunday school teacher and participated in the sewing circle.

Surviving are four sons, Kenneth H., married to Dorothy M. Ranck Kreider of Strasburg, PA; Norman L. & Orpha M. Hawthorne Kreider and G. Frank Jr. & Barbara Myers Kreider, both of Lancaster, PA and James F. & Elizabeth Naylor Kreider of Trout Run, PA; two daughters, Janet E. & Walter Harrison of La Jolla, California, and Linda M. & Robert E. Keeport of Washington Boro, PA; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Harold R. & Ruth Hershey of Quarryville, PA and Richard R. & Mary Ellen Hershey of Lancaster, PA.

Rosanna was preceded in death by two brothers, Edwin and Ivan Hershey.

Funeral service was January 18, 2002 at Willow Street Mennonite Church, with Pastor Robert A. Breneman and Pastor Dorcas J. Martzall. Burial was in Willow Street Mennonite Church Cemetery, Willow Street, PA

Kuhns, Miriam Faye
40, of Shippensburg, PA died August 12, 2002, in Carlisle PA. She was born October 19, 1961, in Carlisle, PA to Clarence L. and Mabel G. Diller Kuhns.

She was a member of Youth Services of Eastern Mennonite Missions,  Diller Mennonite Church in Newville, PA and Living Faith Chapel, Shippensburg, PA.

Survived by five sisters, Eunice Sauder, Ephrata, PA; Ann Predoti and Nancy Leatherman, Lititz, PA, Evelyn Schliestett of Suwanne, GA. and Fern Habecker of Palmyra, PA; three brothers, James and Nathan Kuhns of Newville, PA and Jay Kuhns of Chambersburg, PA; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were held August 23, 2002 at Living Faith Chapel,  Shippensburg, PA with  Rev. Galen Lehman officiating. Burial was at  Diller Mennonite Cemetery, Newville, Pa with Rev. Mervin Ruth officiating.

Kropf, Bertha Krabill
, 83, of Albany, Oregon formerly of Harrisburg, Oregon, died Jan. 13, 2002. She was born Feb. 15, 1918, in Albany, Oregon to John and Sarah Kennel Krabill. She married Ray Kropf in Albany on Dec. 21, 1941. He died on March 17, 1947. She married David Kropf in Albany on June 28, 1970. She was a former member of the Fairview Mennonite Church and more recently a member of the Brownsville Mennonite Church. She lived in Albany, Oregon for much of her life. She also had lived in Harrisburg, OR and in Vanderhoof, B.C.

Survived by her husband David and a daughter, Leona Kropf of Sweet Home; a son, Walter of Harrisburg; three stepdaughters, Clarene Myers of Sweet Home, Lavern Yoder of Vanderhoof and Florence Gingrich of Salem; two stepsons, Stanley of Elkhart, Ind., and Jim of Vanderhoof; two brothers, David Krabill of Shedd and Kenneth Krabill of Albany; 25 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral service was Jan. 19, 2002 at the Brownsville Mennonite Church. Burial was in the Alford Cemetery in Harrisburg, Oregon.

Kropf-Metzger, Adah Lila Norwood
, 94, of Albany,Oregon, formerly Harrisburg, Oregon died March 9, 2002. She was born July 27, 1907, in Harrisburg, OR to John and Avis Tanton Norwood. She 1st married Joseph Kropf in Harrisburg on Sept. 22, 1927. The couple pastored at the Church in the Wildwood for 22 years before he died March 11, 1989. They also served in misson work in Guadalajara, Mexico, Sacramento, California and Sheridan/McMinnville area and assisted with the Portland Rescue Mission. She 2nd married Edmond Metzger on June 9, 1996. She was a lifelong member of the Mennonite Church.

Survived by her husband Edmond and two daughters, Maxine Harward of Philomath and Marjorie Reeder of Vanderhoof, B.C.; two sons, Gerald Kropf of Halsey and Dale Kropf-Renk of Mapleton; 21 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Sharon Schmidt, and three grandchildren, Keith Reeder, Richard Warfel and Wendy Kropf, died previously.

Funeral service was March 15, 2002 at Brownsville Mennonite Church. Burial was at Alford Cemetery in Halsey,Oregon.
