Born: 4-27-1916, Lancaster, Pa. Died: 4-21-2003, Lititz, Pa.

Daughter of: Late Henry H. and Mary Buckwalter Landis.

Survivors: Sister, Emma B. Landis of Lancaster, Pa.; and a brother, Ira B. (Ruth M. Weaver) Landis of Manheim, Pa.

Preceded in death by three brothers, Walter, Jacob & John.

Miss Landis was a registered nurse and served as a nurse-midwife for Eastern Mennonite Missions from 1949-1996 in Tanzania.  She also raised several African children while serving. She was a graduate of Manhiem Twp. High School in Lancaster, Pa. and Eastern Mennonite College.  She received her RN degree from Women's Hospital of Philadelphia. She was a member of Landis Valley Mennonite Church.

Services: Landis Valley Mennonite Church, 2420 Kissel Hill Road, Lancaster, Pa. on Thursday, April 24, 2003, at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Tom Horst, the Rev. A. Richard Weaver, and the Rev. Don Jacobs officiating.  Interment in the adjoining cemetery.

LANTZ, Aaron B., age 61 years

Born: Gordonville, Pa. Died: 6-17-2003, Lancaster, Pa.

Husband of: Lizzie Stoltzfus Lantz.  Son of: Late Isaac and Rachel Beiler Lantz.

Survivors: Sons, Raymond, Jacob, and Aaron Jr., all of Gordonville, Pa., and Isaac (Ada Ruth King) Lantz of New Holland, Pa.
Daughters, Barbara (Jonas) Esch of Dornsife, Rachel (Amos J.) Stoltzfus of Gordonville, Mary (Ivan L.) King of Kinzers, Pa. and Katie of Gordonville.
Grandchildren: 20.  Brothers, Amos (Katie Stoltzfus) Lantz, and Jonathan (Sara Beiler) Lantz, both of Gordonville, Ammon (Amanda Stoltzfus) Lantz, and Eli (Sara Fisher) Lantz of Lititz, Pa.Daniel (Arie Stoltzfus) Lantz of Gap, Pa., Jonas (Sylvia Esch) Lantz of Millersburg, Pa. and Isaac of Florida; a stepbrother, Henry of Manheim, Pa. Sisters, Mary (Amos) Fisher of Ronks, Pa., Ruth Zook of Gordonville and Leah (John) Fisher of Gordonville.

Preceded in death by a sister Rachel, a stepsister, Sarah Huyard; and a stepbrother, Stephen.

Services: From the late home, 260 Hollow Road, Gordonville, Pa. on Thursday, June 19, 2003 at 11:00 a.m.  Interment in Dry Hill Cem., Lancaster Co., Pa.

Kauffman Lapp.  Survivors: Maternal Grandparents, Jacob B. and Mary Stoltzfus Kauffman of Chrisitiana, Pa.; paternal grandparents, John K. and Rebecca Smucker Lapp of Paradise, Pa.; maternal great-grandmother Emma Zook Stoltzfus of Gordonville, Pa.; paternal great-grandparents Jonas S. and Katie King Lapp of Ronks, Pa.; and paternal great-grandmother Katie Stoltzfus Smucker of Narvon, Pa.

Services: From the late home, 960A Georgetown Road, Paradise, Pa. on  Wed., Feb. 26, 2003 at  9 a.m..  Intement Bart Amish Cem., Bart Twp., Lancaster Co., Pa.

Born: 4-6-1919, Leola, Pa. Died: 7-11-2003, Myerstown, Pa.

Husband of: Fannie S. Stoltzfus Lapp, who survives.  Son of: Moses B. and Annie Zook Lapp.

Survivors: Sons, Elam G. (Malinda King) Lapp, and Moses S. (Ruth Fisher) Lapp, both of Myerstown, and Jacob S. (Annie Peachey) Lapp of Newmanstown, Pa. Daughters Leah S. (Ben) Peachey, Rebecca (Omar) Peachey, Fannie (Aaron) Lapp, and Sarah Lapp, all of Myerstown, and Annie S. (LeRoy) Yoder of Lebanon, Pa.  Grandchildren: 48.  Great-grandchildren: 59.  Brothers, Moses Z. of Gordonville, Pa. and Jacob Lapp of McAllisterville, Pa. Sisters, Annie (David S.) King, and Fannie Lapp, both of Myerstown, Pa., and Mary (Menno) Peachey of Mifflintown, Pa.

Preceded in death by brothers, John, David, Levi and Isaac Lapp.  Sisters, Barbara and Katie Lapp.

Jonas was a retired farmer and owned a sharpening shop.  He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Burial: Lapp Amish Cem., Lebanon Co., Pa.

Born: 8-31-1917, Ephrata Twp., Lancaster Co., Pa.  Died: 3-22-2003, Mt. Hope Dunkard Breth. Home, Manheim, Pa.

Daughter of: Late Foster O. and Emma Horst Lauver.

Survivors: Brother, Henry H. (Emma A. Martin) Lauver of Ephrata, Pa.. Sister, Margaret H. (Reuben N.) Martin of Ephrata, Pa.

Preceded in death: Brother, Elam H. and a sister Anna H. Horst.

Maria was a member of Meadow Valley Mennonite Church, Ephrata, Pa.

Services: Meadow Valley Mennonite Church, Meadow Valley Road, Ephrata, Pa. on Thursday, March 27, 2003 at 10:45 a.m. with Bishop
Lester B. Martin officiating.  Interment in adjoining cemetery.
