Surrounded by loved ones, LeRoy Waughtel, 71, of Willow Street, PA went home to be with our Lord on Monday night, October 14, 2019. He was born in Lancaster, PA in 1948, the son of the late LeRoy and Martha Waughtel.
He was a member of the Willow Street Mennonite Church. He had served as an usher and helped at The Community Closet, sorting donations for them.
He is survived by his 5 children: Laura Sangrey and her husband Gerald, Nancy Hanna and her husband Steve, April Cruz and her husband Isreal, William Waughtel and his wife Stacy, and Jennifer Straining. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren: Cameron, Kara, Jordan, Devon, Bryce, Connor, Joshua, Kayla, Logan, Tyler, Keith, and Mackenzie; one great-grandchild: Cooper; three sisters: Shirley, Dorothy, and Ida; a brother: Edward; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Peggy.
LeRoy loved life. He will always be remembered for his spunk, his jokes, the deals he found and made, and his crazy adventures. Family was his most precious asset. He left this earth with a heart full of love.
A private memorial service will be held at Willow Street Mennonite Church. Burial in Mellingers Mennonte Cemetery. Lancaster, PA

August 23, 1916 - April 9, 2019
Alta B. Weaver, 102, of Lititz, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at Landis Homes.
Born on August 23, 1916 in Blue Ball, she was the daughter of the late Amos W. and Anna (Burkholder) Weaver.
She was a member of Springville Mennonite Church since 1933.
Alta was a nurse education coordinator for Ephrata Community Hospital before she retired in 1982. After retirement she worked part-time at Audubon Villa, Lititz, and Lancaster Lung Association.
She graduated from West Reading Hospital School of Nursing in 1947, earned her Bachelors of Nursing from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, in 1953 and her Masters of Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania in 1965.
From 1954 to 1969 she worked in Tanzania under the Eastern Mennonite Mission. She instigated the founding of Shirati Nursing School, Tanzania, where she was director and instructor. She was then a nursing instructor for Eastern Mennonite College (now Eastern Mennonite University) in Harrisonburg, VA and then at Neumann's College, Aston, PA.
Alta is survived by a sister, Lillian (Jason) Shaum; a brother, Amos B. Weaver and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Emma Zeiset, Lizzie Oberholtzer, Mabel, Anna Mary and Esther Weaver.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2019 from 1 to 3 PM at East Bethany Chapel at Landis Homes, 1001 E. Oregon Road, Lititz, followed by an additional viewing from 5 to 8 PM at Lincoln Christian Home, 1307 Apple Street, Ephrata. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 15, 2019 at 9:30 AM at
Springville Mennonite Church, 580 Springville Road, Ephrata. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.

Weaver, Arlen L., of Milton and formerly of Manheim, was born December 23, 1985 and went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the age of 33 years. He was a member of the Rheems Mennonite Church, Mount Joy. He was the son of Lester B. and Irene R. (Kurtz) Weaver and the loving husband of Joy L. (Sweigart) Weaver.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Justin (10), Jordan (7), and Jaron (3); three sisters: Ann Louise wife of David Haldeman of Danville, Amy Weaver, and Anita Weaver both of Manheim, and three brothers, Andrew husband of Amber (Nolt) Weaver, Anthony husband of Marlene (Herr) Weaver, and Argyl husband of Rosalie (Hoover) Weaver, all of Manheim. He is survived by a paternal grandmother, Edna Z. Weaver and maternal grandmother, Lena G. Kurtz. He was preceded in death by a paternal grandfather, Noah B. Weaver and a maternal grandfather, John B. Kurtz.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 25, at the Millville Mennonite Church, 292 Taylor Road, Millville, PA from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. A viewing will also be held on Friday, July 26, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and a funeral service on Saturday, July 27 at 10:00 AM at the Rheems Mennonite Church, 1435 Schwanger Road, Mount Joy, PA. Visitation will be Monday, Feb. 25, 2019, 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019 2-6 p.m. at the residence. Services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019 at the Old Order Yellow Creek Mennonite Church at 9:30 a.m. Home ministry will officiate. Burial will be at Yellow Creek Frame Cemetery.
Weaver, David S., age 69 years, 2 months and 16 days, died January 8, 2019 at the Maugansville Mennonite Home in Hagerstown, Maryland. He was a resident at the home for one month. He was formerly from Elizabethtown, PA where he had lived with his sister, Ella and Kenneth Kreider for eleven years. He attended the Rheems Mennonite Church.
He was born in West Earl Township on October 23, 1949. He was the son of the late John W. and Annie W. Weaver.
David is survived by two brothers and eight sisters, Ivan, husband of Rebecca Weaver Weaver of Elverson, PA; Irvin, husband of Catherine Wise Weaver of Denver, PA; Ella, wife of Kenneth Kreider of Elizabethtown, PA; Anny Mary, wife of Fred Miller of Conestoga, PA; Alta, wife of Robert Sensenig of Myerstown, PA; Ruth, wife of the late Benjamin Shertzer of McAlisterville, PA; Irene, wife of Randal Sensenig of Lebanon, PA; Ada Mae, wife of Dale Miller of Montrose, CO; Arlene, wife of Gary Boll of Mt. Airy, MD; Esther, wife of Mervin Mellinger of Edinburgh, IN; and 60 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Lydia.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at the Denver Mennonite Church on Monday, January 14, at 9:30 am, with Brother Harold Good officiating. Interment will follow at the Martindale Mennonite Church Cemetery.

Ella Mae Weaver, age 70, of Shippensburg, PA, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born Tuesday, December 28, 1948 in Hagerstown, MD, the daughter of Naomi (Hege) Martin and the late Maurice Martin.

Ella Mae was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, and a member of Shippensburg Christian Fellowship. In her early years she was a dedicated homemaker and was given to hospitality. She fiercely loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. Ella Mae valiantly fought a 23-year battle with illness.
Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 2 at Shippensburg Christian Fellowship Church, 10600 Blind Lane, Shippensburg with Pastor Harvey Reiff officiating. Interment will follow at Shippensburg Christian Fellowship Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Friday, November 1 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Shippensburg Christian Fellowship Church.
Weaver, Ellen M., 73, died peacefully Saturday, October 5, 2019, after a long struggle with mental health issues at South Mountain Restoration Center, Franklin Country - finally at peace.
Born in West Earl Township, PA, daughter of the late David M. and Katie B. (Martin) Weaver. Survived by sisters, Anna Mary Wenger (Raymond) and Elizabeth Bonnar (Ken), brother-in-law, Scott Burger, step-mother, Martha K. Weaver, two nieces and four nephews.
Ellen was preceded in death by sisters, Irene Weaver and Kathleen Burger, and a brother, Harlan Weaver.
Ellen was a graduate of Lancaster Mennonite High School and Eastern Mennonite College. She was a prior member of Carpenter's Mennonite Church. Ellen loved listening to music, reading and crossword puzzles.
A viewing will be held from 9 to 10 am, Friday, October 11, 2019, at Stradling Funeral Home, 30 North 9th Street, Akron. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 am.
Interment will be held at Groffdale Frame Mennonite Cemetery.

May 16, 1925-March 26, 2019
COLUMBIANA, Ohio - Emma Ruth Weaver, 93, passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 26, 2019 at her home.
Mrs. Weaver was born May 16, 1925 in Dalton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Martha Hoover Good and had lived in this area most of her life.
Emma was a homemaker and member of Salem Mennonite Church.
Her husband, David Weaver, whom she married August 7, 1946 died July 23, 1993.
Emma is survived by her children, David B. (Eva) Weaver of Columbiana, Ruth Anne (Mahlon) Martin of Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania, Joseph (Elaine) Weaver of Columbiana and Joanna (Harry) Neuenschwander of Salem; son-in law, Steven Yoder of Homeworth; 38 grandchildren; 117 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Miriam Yoder; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three sisters and seven brothers.
Friends and family will be received from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2019 at the Salem Mennonite Church.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at the Salem Mennonite Church with the local Salem Ministry officiating.
Burial will be in Pleasant View Mennonite Cemetery.
Weaver, George W., 80, of Reinholds, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2019, at home.
He was born in West Earl Twp. to the late Aaron M. and Emma (Weaver) Weaver and was the husband of Evelyn J. (Weber) Weaver with whom he shared 61 years of marriage.
He was a member of Faith Mennonite Fellowship, where he also helped with the landscaping and maintenance.
George was a driver and mechanic for Burkholder Paving for 42 years before retiring at age 70. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and tinkering with mower repairs. He also enjoyed volunteering with Material Aid Center.
In addition to his wife, George is survived by six children, Diane, wife of Dale Burkholder of Ephrata, Darla, wife of Leonard Shirk of Denver, Carol, wife of the late Kevin Smoker of Newmanstown, Gerald, husband of Deb (Gemmill) Weaver of Lititz, Gary, husband of Judy (Horning) Weaver of Reinholds, Bruce, husband of Sherry (Eberly) Weaver of Myerstown; sixteen grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Anna Mary, wife of Paul Hurst of Ephrata and two brothers, Irvin, husband of Verna (Oberholtzer) Weaver of Stevens, Melvin, husband of Anna (Hackert) Weaver of Denver.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six siblings, Ivan Weaver, Edna Weaver, Verna Horning, Edith Weaver, Emma Burkholder and Aaron Weaver.
A visitation will be hold on Sunday, July 21, 2019 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the Faith Mennonite Fellowship, 335 N. Line Road, Stevens, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM with Pastor Michael Burkholder and Pastor Dwain Martin officiating. Interment will be private in the adjoining Faith Mennonite Cemetery.

Weaver, Gladys M. Johnston, 99, of Chambersburg and formerly of Lancaster, died on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the Shippensburg Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Richard E. Weaver, who died in 1973.
Born in Blakesburg, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late John and Eva (Walker) Johnston. Gladys is survived by her son, Warren J., husband of Vicky, of York; two daughters, Catherine Weaver, with whom she lived and Louise, wife of Thomas Greene of Chevy Chase, MD; two granddaughters, Heidi, wife of Serdar Umur of Cos Cob, CT, and Kari Weaver of Atlanta; and a great grandson, Adam Umur. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Hillis Johnston, Marie Johnston, Mabel Grooms, Josephine Ratcliffe, LaVina Jackson, Mildred Izer and Hildred Hilliard.
Gladys was a member of the United Mennonite Church.

Weaver, H. Ray, 56, of Reinholds, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019, at home. He was born in Ephrata to the late Harvey H. Weaver and Ruth (Fisher) Weaver Schlicher of Denver.
Ray was a warehouse associate for John F. Martin Meats and also worked part-time for Quality Custom Cabinetry. He enjoyed working, and facilitating the Weaver Family Reunion for many years.
In addition to his mother Ray is survived by step-father, Kenneth L. Schlicher of Lancaster; companion, Deb Fry of Willow Street; siblings, Barry Lee, husband of Betty Jean (Mumma) Weaver of Stevens, and Jan Lamar Weaver of Kissimmee, FL; nephews and nieces, Eric & Steven Weaver, Melanie Weaver, Jeremy, husband of Irina Weaver, Stacy, wife of Ben Okochi, Jesse, husband of Tonya Weaver, Matthew, husband of Jen Weaver, and Sarah, wife of Justin Shelton.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Lynn Weaver.

Weaver, Harland W., 85, of Manheim passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 after a brief illness. He was the son of the late Phares and Ella Z. Wenger Weaver of Lititz, PA. A member of the Pequea Mennonite Church, he was married to Mary Etta Sensenig Weaver for 53 years before she passed away in 2010.
Surviving are two sons: Vernon, husband of Judy Burkholder Weaver, Manheim; and Harold, husband of Mary Greiner Weaver, Elizabethtown; four daughters: Guner, Manheim; Rita, wife of James Musser, Newmanstown; Vanita, wife of Larry Burkholder, Goshen, IN; Julia, wife of Steve Nolt, Newmanstown; 28 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
Additionally, he is survived by brothers Phares W. and Landis W., husband of Edna Martin Weaver and sisters Esther W., wife of Noah Sensenig; Martha W. Nolt; and Ellen W., wife of Elmer Martin. He was predeceased by brothers Clarence W., Paul W., Norman W. and Allen W. and by sisters Mary W. Martin, Alta W. and Anna W. and a great-grandson.

Weaver, Harold L.
March 21, 1925 - November 15, 2019
Harold L. Weaver, 94, of Elkhart, passed away at his home on November 15, 2019, from a recent illness.
He was born to Amzey and Bessie (Grosh) Weaver on March 21, 1925. Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Mary (Herr); three children, Barry (Marjorie) Weaver of Bloomington, IL; Karen (Galen) Hershberger of Goshen, IN; and Kent (Jodi) Weaver of Pleasant Hill, OH; 8 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. One brother, Richard (Highlands Ranch, CO), also survives. He was preceded in death by both parents and his brothers James, Howard, and Donald Weaver.
Harold was born in Elkhart and lived there almost all of his life. He was a lifelong member of Prairie Street Mennonite Church. He was active in many roles of church leadership throughout his life, including congregational chair, treasurer, and musician. He especially enjoyed singing in men’s quartets.
Harold graduated from Elkhart High School in 1943. During World War II he served in Civilian Public Service. He also did reconstruction work in France under Mennonite Central Committee from 1946-48. After service, Harold attended and graduated from Goshen College. He continued his studies at Indiana University, earning a Master’s degree.
His careers included education; several roles at the Mennonite Board of Missions; and real estate sales and office management. He retired in 1989. In 1997, he moved to Hubbard Hill Estates Retirement Community. He very much enjoyed the relationships he developed there.
Visitation will be at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, Elkhart, on December 20 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A memorial service will be held at Prairie Street Mennonite Church, also in Elkhart, on December 21 at 10:30 AM. A private family burial will take place at the Prairie Street Cemetery prior to the service. In place of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Prairie Street Mennonite Church, Goshen College or Mennonite Central Committee.

March 10, 1941 - April 27, 2019
Irvin B. Weaver, age 78 years, 1 month and 17 days, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019 at University Hospital, Columbia, Missouri. He was born March 10, 1941, in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, a son of Phares M. and Anna Mary (Burkholder) Weaver.
He was married to Emma M. Reiff on November 14, 1963 in Leola, Pennsylvania.
Irvin was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Edwin Weaver and an infant brother and two sisters, Miriam Zeiset and Amy Weaver.
Survivors include his wife, Emma M. Weaver of Versailles, Missouri; seven children, Karen Kilmer and husband Orvie of Clarksburg, Missouri, Glenn Weaver and wife Kathryn of Versailles, Missouri, Joyce Ramer and husband Russell of Russellville, Missouri, Gerald Weaver and wife Annetta of Versailles, Missouri, Janice Zimmerman and husband Edward of Fortuna, Missouri, Rosanne Kilmer and husband Daniel of Barnett, Missouri and Norma Ramer and husband John of Russellville, Missouri; forty-nine grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Phares Weaver and wife Mary Ella and Nelson Weaver all of Ephrata, Pennsylvania; seven sisters, Alta Shirk of Holland, Kentucky, Emma Zimmerman of Ephrata, Pennsylvania, Lydia Horst and husband Milton of East Earl, Pennsylvania, Lena Zimmerman of Lititz, Pennsylvania, Verna Newswenger and husband David of New Holland, Pennsylvania, Anna Martin and husband Aaron of Martinsburg, Pennsylvania and Louella Kulp and husband Isaac of Hodgdon, Maine and a host of other relatives.
Irvin was a retired farmer. He moved to Versailles, Missouri, on March 1, 1978. He was ordained as a minister for the Pleasant Hill Mennonite Church in Latham, Missouri, on November 1, 1978, and served until his death.
Services will be held at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at North Ozark Mennonite Church, Versailles, Missouri. Burial will be in the North Ozark Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Weaver, Leslie Hershey Sr., 82, died March 8, 2019, at home. Born in Ronks, Pa., a son of Elmer and Emma Zink Weaver. He is survived by wife, Elsie Fulmer Weaver; sisters, Ruth Mellinger, Shirley Boll and Darlene Boll; and two brothers, Melvin and John.
Retired owner of European Autohaus in Harrisonburg, he was involved in Mennonite Spanish Ministries throughout his adult life in Lancaster, Pa., Florida and Puerto Rico.
He was predeceased by daughter, Sharon LeAnne, and grandson, Christopher Armato.
Surviving are sons, Tom (Joanne Benner) Weaver, Mike (Lorna Blake) Weaver, Les Jr. (Nanci Martin) Weaver, Jonathan (Diane Good) Weaver; grandchildren, Brooke (David) Armato-Raffaele, Chelsea (Stephen) Weaver-Esaki, Jessica (Dustin) Weaver-Kenny, Stuart Weaver, Isaiah Weaver, Dennis Jr. and Anthony Armato; and great- grandchildren, Silas and Tanis Raffaele, and Anthony Michael Armato.

Lizzie K. (Horst) Weaver, 88, of Anna, Illinois and formerly of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania passed away on March 7, 2019. Born on August 25, 1930 in Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Lena (Kurtz) Horst. On January 20, 1951, she married David M. Weaver who preceded her in death. Lizzie was a member of Mt. Pleasant Mennonite Church in southern Illinois.
Surviving is a son, David H. husband of Rhoda Weaver of Anna, Illinois and three daughters: Naomi wife of Ivan Good of Versailles, Missouri, Julia wife of Leon Martin of Tenino, Washington and Dorcas wife of Leroy Zimmerman of Marietta, Pennsylvania; a foster daughter, Tina Spraggs of Versailles, Missouri; 35 grandchildren, 93 great-grandchildren and a brother, Milton K. husband of Kathryn Horst of New Holland, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by a son, Lester Weaver and a daughter, Elizabeth H. Martin (wife of Dale Martin), four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a brother, Aaron Horst who passed away in infancy and two sisters: Mary (wife of Lloyd Good) and Alma (wife of John Hurst).
Funeral services will be held at the Mt. Pleasant Mennonite Church, 55 Cain Road, Dongola, Illinois on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 10:00 AM with a viewing at the Mt. Pleasant Mennonite Church on Tuesday from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Weaver, Marie M. Brubaker, 69, of Ephrata, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital.
She was born in New Holland to the late David and Lena (Martin) Brubaker and was the wife of John S. Weaver with whom she shared 48 years of marriage.
She was a member of Centerville Mennonite Church (Eastern Conference).
Marie was a homemaker.
In addition to her husband, Marie is survived ten children, Vincent, husband of Crystal Weaver, Lisa, wife of Charles Martin, Rosanna, wife of Lamar Sensenig, Steve, husband of Linda Weaver, James, husband of Tricia Weaver, Gloria, wife of Arlin Good, Caroline, wife of Jason Newswanger, Lorene, wife of Donny Zimmerman, Josephine, wife of Ryan Heller, Andrew Weaver; 35 grandchildren; seven siblings, June Weaver, Irene Weaver, Faye Martin, Roy Brubaker, Clara Weaver, Leon Brubaker, Kenneth Brubaker and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred and Clyde Brubaker.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the farm Crest Chapel, Fairmont Homes, 1100 Farm Crest Drive, Ephrata. Weaver, Mary R. Martin, 68, of Ephrata, died Monday, March 11, 2019 at Fairmount Home. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Irvin M. Weaver.
Born in Ephrata Twp., she was the daughter of the late Elam G. and Lillian (Redcay) Martin.
Mary was a homemaker who enjoyed doing embroidery and painting with liquid embroidery. She was a member of Bowmansville Mennonite Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four siblings: Alvin married to Shirley Martin, New Holland, Leon married to Sandy Martin, Denver, Liz married to Paul Keller, Myerstown, and Irene married to Brian Witmer, Ephrata and a sister-in-law Kathy Martin, Willow Street.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Solomon married to Mildred Martin, Raymond Martin and Mervin Martin, and a brother-in-law Adam Horst.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, March 18, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Bowmansville Mennonite Church, 129 Pleasant Valley Rd., East Earl. A viewing will be held at the church on Sunday from 6 – 8 p.m. and Monday from 9 – 10 a.m.

Weaver, Norman W., 91, of Lititz, passed away, Sunday, February 3, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lancaster, PA to the late Phares M. and Ella W. Weaver. He was the loving husband to Violetta (Stauffer) Weaver for over 69 years.
Norman was a member of Crossroads Community Fellowship (formerly Hess Mennonite). Norman was the founder and owner of Weaver's Garage for over 25 years until his retirement in 1995. He enjoyed camping and traveling as well as gardening. Norman and Violetta enjoyed attending Southern Gospel concerts. Most of all Norman cherished the time spent with his family. He will be remembered for his quiet and gentle heart.

Weaver, Paul M., 85, formerly of Manheim, passed away unexpectedly at Landis Homes on Saturday, December 21, 2019. Born in Leola, he was the son of the late Aaron G. and Lydia Martin Weaver. He was the loving husband of the late Velma Bomberger Weaver who died in 2007. Retired in 1999, Paul was a rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service in the Manheim area and he also operated a poultry farm in Rapho Township. Following his retirement, he transported Amish and their families. He was an active and faithful member of Erisman Mennonite Church, Manheim where he served as an Elder, Trustee, song leader, Sunday school teacher, and on many other church committees. His interests included traveling with his wife, crossword puzzles, reading, music, and he loved to spend time with his family. Remembered for his gracious smile and peaceful character, Paul will be deeply missed by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his many friends. He was a true friend to many and lived by the ethics and values which he established for himself, and strived to pass those values on to his family.
Surviving is a daughter, Tina wife of Ronald E. Wenger of Mount Joy, two sons: Jeffrey L. husband of Louann Hollinger Weaver of Manheim, Jay Robert husband of Brenda Hess Weaver of Lititz, 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and four sisters, Esther Nissley of Lewisburg, Mabel Hernley of Ephrata, Miriam Nauman-Swope of Sarasota, Florida, and Reba Wissler of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Anna Keperling and Laura Carpenter, and two brothers: Harlan and Luke Weaver.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial service at Landis Homes Retirement Community, WEST BETHANY CHAPEL, 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz, on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Weaver, Paul W., age 93, born in West Earl Township, a resident of Landis Homes, went home to be with his Savior on December 22, 2019.
He was the son of the late Phares and Ella Z. Wenger Weaver of Lititz, PA. He was married to Laura J. Weaver for 68 years prior to her passing in 2017. Together they operated a farm in the Lititz area. They also were involved in the ministry of Millport Mennonite Church. Paul held the distinction of being one of the few who served as deacon, pastor, and bishop in the Lancaster Conference Mennonite Church. He was bishop for the Lititz District and retired in 1992. Paul served on several boards, including Friendship Community, Brotherly Aid Sharing program, school planning board for the Lititz Area Mennonite School, and then on the school's pastoral board.
Surviving are children Carolyn (Ronald Weaver) of Lititz, Gerald (Janet Ginder) of Lititz, Linda (Wilmer Groff) of Manheim, Sharon (Clint Yoder) of Wagener, SC, and Jay (Phyllis Sensenig) of Leola. Additionally, he is survived by brothers Phares W., Harland W., and Landis W. He is also survived by sisters Esther W. Sensenig, Martha W. Nolt, and Ellen W. Martin. He was predeceased by brothers Clarance W., Allen W., and Norman W. and by a sister Mary W. Martin.
A visitation and viewing will be held Friday, December 27, 2019 between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. and between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at Millport Mennonite Church, 530 Log Cabin Rd, Leola, PA 17540. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Millport Mennonite Church, 820 Log Cabin Rd, Leola, PA at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Eugene Beyer and Nelson Martin officiating. A time for family visitation will be held after the service.

Raymond N. Weaver, 64, of 15060 Old Turnpike Road, Millmont, passed away on Monday afternoon, Oct. 21, 2019, in the emergency room at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
He was born Feb. 10, 1955, in Ephrata, a son of the late Alvin and Anna (Newswanger) Weaver. He was married to the former Edna H. Hoover who survives. Raymond was a farmer all his life.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing but his greatest joy came from his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children, Rhoda and husband Nathan Siegrist of Narvon, Loren Weaver and Lucille and husband Brian Martin, all of Millmont, Robert Ortlip and wife Kayla of Mifflinburg, and Ian Kapelan and wife Jen of Lewisburg; 18 grandchildren; two brothers, Ivan N. Weaver of Bethel and Titus N. Weaver of Ephrata; three sisters, Alma and husband Harvey Shirk of Narvon, Rachel and husband Landis Burkholder of Kutztown, and Mary and husband Elam Nolt of Ephrata.
He was preceded in death by one foster daughter, Sabrina.
A viewing will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, at the family residence, 15060 Old Turnpike Road, Millmont. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 9 a.m. at the residence, followed by services at 9:30 a.m. at the Mountain View Mennonite Church, 274 Kaiser Run Road, Mifflinburg, with Bishop Ammon Weaver and local ministry officiating.

Weaver, Rhoda J. Martin, 79, of Lititz, formerly of Ephrata, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 11, 2019, surrounded by her loving family at Landis Homes.
Born in Ephrata, she was the daughter of the late Aaron S. and Edna M. (Shenk) Martin. She shared 50 years of marriage with Clarence L. Weaver, who passed away in 2009.
Rhoda was a member of Alive Church (formerly Ephrata Mennonite Church), where she taught her Sunday school class. She worked for many years in the office at Green Dragon Farmer's Market. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, vacationing at the mountains and spending time with family.
Rhoda is survived by daughters, Carol L., wife of Warren H. Martin of Ephrata, Doris A., wife of John L. Kurtz of Stevens; her son, Bruce A., husband of Jan H. (Breneman) Weaver of Ephrata; a brother, Kenneth E., husband of Mary (Schnupp) Martin of Brewton, AL; a sister, Edith A., wife of the late John R. Schnupp of Ephrata; seven grandchildren, Ryan, husband of Lindsay Martin, Crystal, wife of Steve Welsh, Jeremy, husband of Brittany Kurtz, Jeff Kurtz, Adam Weaver, Alyssa Weaver, Emily Ulrich and 2 great-grandchildren, Alexa and Gavin Martin.

Titus N. Weaver, 89, formerly of 290 Wabash Road, Ephrata, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019, at Fairmount Homes where he had been a resident for four months.
Born on February 27, 1930, he was the son of the late Elmer and Anna (Nolt) Weaver and was the husband of the late Lizzie W. (Hurst) Weaver who preceded him in death November 12, 2015.
A lifelong resident of Ephrata, Titus was a farmer and involved in livestock hauling for many years. He was a member of Springville Mennonite Church (Weaverland Conference).
Surviving are four sons, Glenn, husband of Irene (Zimmerman) Weaver, Paul, husband of Ada Mae (Weaver) Weaver, Melvin, husband of Alma (Martin) Weaver, Kenneth, husband of Darlene (Hurst) Weaver, all of Ephrata; two daughters, Esther, wife of Harold Sensenig of Shippensburg, Janet, wife of Jason Groff of Stevens; 29 grandchildren; 79 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary N. Weaver of New Holland and two brothers-in-law, Rufus Nolt of Lititz and Lyman Sensenig, husband of Edna of Stevens.

Weaver, Twila Fern Zimmerman
January 19, 1983 - June 9, 2019
Twila Fern (Zimmerman) Weaver, 36, of Wooster Ohio, was welcomed into her HEAVENLY HOME at 1:20 P.M. on June 9, 2019, after a 2-year courageous battle with cancer.
She was born near Nappanee, Indiana on January 19, 1983 to Glen and Barbara (Martin) Zimmerman and accepted Christ as her personal Savior in her youth and was a faithful member of the Chester Christian Fellowship at the time of her death. On July 22, 2006, she was united in marriage to Lonnie Weaver of Wooster Ohio, where she made her home for almost 13 years.
In addition to her husband and parents, Twila is survived by two sisters, Glenda (Daryl) High of Nappanee Indiana and Stephanie Zimmerman of Myerstown, Pennsylvania; brothers, Jeff (Lydia) Zimmerman of Nappanee Indiana and Luke (Hannah Lucas) Zimmerman of Goshen Indiana; and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Daniel and Katie Martin and Maynard and Catharine Zimmerman; and one niece, Breanna Joy Weaver.
Twila was a teacher at Pine View School, near Wooster Ohio for over 3 years. She enjoyed being a homemaker, gardening, and helping her husband on the farm. She wasn't granted the blessing of being a mother, but she had a special gift of mothering nieces, nephews and blessing many other children.
The visitation is to be held Thursday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM and the funeral, on Friday at 10:30 AM all at the East Union Mennonite Church, 10678 Old Lincolnway East, Orrville Ohio. Home ministry will officiate. Burial will follow in the Chester Mennonite Church Cemetery, 4730 Rutt Road, Wooster, OH 44691. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.

Weber, Lester Z., 88, of Ephrata, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019, at his residence.
He was born in Hinkletown to the late Noah and Cora (Zimmerman) Weber and was the husband of Lois Z. (Weaver) Weber.
Lester was a member of Indiantown Mennonite Church. During his working years, he was a brick mason for Harry Henley and Terry Steffy. He was a member of the Cocalico Sportsmen's Association, member and past president of the Ephrata Archery Club. He enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling and doing puzzles.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Donald R., husband of Karen S. (Horst) Weber of Ephrata; three grandsons, Chad M., Christopher J., and Jordan L. Weber; ten great-grandchildren and a brother, Noah Jr., husband of Lois E. (Boose) Weber of Brickerville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Titus, Lloyd and Melvin Weber and a sister, Emma Horst.

June 11, 1929-March 13, 2019
Dale D. Weldy, age 89 years of Archbold, OH, passed away on March 13, 2019, at CHP Defiance Area in-patient Hospice. He was born June 11, 1929, on the family dairy farm in Wakarusa, IN. Dale was the son of Samuel R. and Alva E. (Loucks) Weldy. He worked on the farm and travelled the country showing registered Guernsey cattle.
Dale graduated from Wakarusa High School and attended Goshen College. On March 22, 1953, he married Helen Eicher Weldy and they were the parents of two children: Kirsten and Kim. Dale and Helen were members of Zion Mennonite Church in Archbold. For most of his life, Dale worked as a car salesman in Archbold. He enjoyed meeting people.
Music was an important part of Dale’s family. His mother, father, brothers, and sister sang together. During and after college, Dale sang in quartets, the church choir and other musical groups and productions. Singing was one of his greatest pleasures in life especially singing solos and singing in conjunction with the Toledo Symphony Orchestra.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Maurice Weldy, and sister, Miriam Weldy. He is survived by his wife, Helen; daughter Kirsten (David) Meyer; son, Kim (Karin) Weldy; and special daughter Peggy (Todd) Lightner. Grandchildren and their families include: Karah (Weldy) and Justin Ehrhardt, Brice and Tracy (Weiler) Meyer, Kirk and Leah (Gautsche) Weldy. Great-grandchildren include Kiptyn, Kyla, and Kamryn Weldy; Barrett and Violet Meyer; Corey Ehrhardt: Aaron Lightner and Ashley (Jordan) Forsythe. Dale is also survived by a brother, Keith Weldy, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, March 25, at Zion Mennonite Church, Archbold, OH, from 3:00-8:00 PM. The memorial service will be held at the church on Tuesday, March 26, at 4:30 PM. Burial will precede the service. Memorials should be made to CHP Home Care and Hospice or to the Zion Church Choir.

Esther Rebecca Rohrer Wenger, 87, of Dayton, passed away June 21, 2019, at Sentara RMH Medical Center.
Mrs. Wenger was born on Sept. 2, 1931, in Dayton and was the daughter of the late Frank Israel and Annie Marie Knicely Rohrer. She was a homemaker and member of the Riverdale Old Order Mennonite Church.
On Dec. 8, 1954, she married Aron Lewis Wenger, who preceded her in death on March 26, 1984.
Surviving are four children, Sheldon Wenger and wife, Wilda, Bridgewater, William L. Wenger, Margaret Wenger and husband, Lewis, Philip Wenger and wife, Myrna, all of Dayton; four brothers, Paul Rohrer and wife, Esther, Ivan Rohrer and wife, Elizabeth, Raymond Rohrer and wife, Mary, all of Dayton, and Stanley Rohrer, Rockingham; a sister, Mattie Wenger, Dayton; a sister-in-law, Martha Rohrer, Dayton; 14 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ina Wenger, and husband, Dwight, a brother, David Rohrer, and a brother-in-law, John Wenger.
Ministers of the church will conduct a funeral service Tuesday morning June 25, 2019, at 10 at the Pleasant View Old Order Mennonite Church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
The body has been taken to her home, where friends may visit until Monday evening at 7 p.m.

Wenger, Eva Ruth, 90, of Dayton, died on Monday, Feb. 25, 2019.
Miss Wenger was born on May 4, 1928, in Rockingham County and was a daughter of the late Henry G. and Mary Frances (Rhodes) Wenger. She was a member of the Pleasant View Old Order Mennonite Church. Eva was a homemaker and cared for her parents in their old age.
Eva is survived by three brothers, Jason D. Wenger and wife, Naomi, Ray J. Wenger and wife, Ida, and Henry G. Wenger, Jr. and wife, Ferne, all of Dayton; and two sisters-in-law, Esther Wenger of Dayton and Martha Wenger of Harrisonburg. In addition to her parents, Miss Wenger was preceded in death by three brothers, Aron L. Wenger, Dwight R. Wenger and wife, Ina, and S. Adin Wenger; and a cousin, Eunice Good, who lived in the home with Eva for 19 years.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at the Pleasant View Old Order Church with the ministers of the church officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The body will be taken to the Wenger home, where friends may call until 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Wenger, Mary Kathryn Heller, 89, formerly of Manheim, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Landis Homes. Born in New Danville, she was the daughter of the late Elmer R. and E. Elizabeth (Hersh) Heller. She was wife of Arthur D. Wenger with whom she shared 68 years of marriage. A seamstress, she operated Mary K. Draperies in Manheim. She was a member of Erisman Mennonite Church, and the Farm Women Club #27.
In addition to her husband, she will be lovingly missed by: 5 children, Nelson married to Alma (Becker) Wenger, Manheim, Joyce E. Wenger, Larry married to Eileen (Diffenderfer) Wenger, Delmar married to Rita (Lentz) Wenger, all of Lancaster, Rosie married to Dwight Rohrer, Manheim; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her grandson, Duane Wenger; her brother, Elvin Heller; her sister, Anne Shreiner Landis.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd at 1 PM from the Landis Homes West Bethany Chapel, 1001 E. Oregon Rd., Lititz, PA 17543. The family will visit with friends on Friday, November 22nd from 5 to 7 PM and immediately following the service on Saturday, all at the West Bethany Chapel. Private interment will be in Erisman Mennonite Cemetery.

Mattie Louise Rohrer Wenger, 84, a resident of Dayton, [VA] passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019, at her home.
Mrs. Wenger was born on Feb. 4, 1935, near Rushville, and was a daughter of the late Frank Israel and Annie Marie Knicely Rohrer. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant View Old Order Mennonite Church.
On June 22, 1955, she married John Early Wenger, who passed away on Sept. 19, 2015.
Surviving are her children, Marie Showalter and husband, Roland “Ron” Showalter, Mildred Showalter and husband, Dennis, John Wenger Jr. and wife, Carolyn, Melinda Beery and husband, Harry Lee, Melvin Wenger and wife, Julia, Ellen Showalter and husband, Kevin, all of Dayton; siblings, Paul Rohrer and wife, Esther, Ivan Rohrer and wife, Elizabeth, Raymond Rohrer and wife, Mary, all of Dayton, and Stanley Rohrer of Rockingham; sister-in-law, Martha Rohrer of Dayton; 24 grandchildren; and 49 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Wenger was preceded in death by two sisters, Esther Wenger and husband, Aron, and Ina Wenger and husband, Dwight; brother, David Rohrerl and one great-grandson, Lance Showalter.

John S. Whetstone, 102, of Cambria, WI formerly of Indiana, died Thursday, August 15, 2019. He was born March 9, 1917 in LaGrange County to Samuel J. and Lena (Shrock) Whetstone. On January 31, 1946 he married Rosa M. Eash. She preceded him in death March 25, 2011. Surviving John are two sons Glen (Alma Hochsteler) Whetstone, Topeka, IN and Orva (Emma Miller), Topeka, IN; three daughters Orpha (Wilbur)Yoder, Topeka, IN, Polly Anna (Clarence) Fry, Millersburg, IN, and Marry Ellen (Ezra) Petersheim, Cambria, WI; 29 grandchildren, 137 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, four brothers, Joseph, Samuel, twin brother Henry, and infant brother Levi; six sisters, Anna, Gertrude, Ida, Elizabeth, Lydia, and Polly. Whissen, Martha Shank
1914-2019
Martha Shank Whissen received her summons to her heavenly home on Friday, Sept. 20, at the Burkholder House of VMRC, where she had lived for three years. Martha was born on a very wintry morning in 1914 at the home of her parents, Perry E. and Katie Showalter Shank. She loved to tell that the doctor had to walk up the snowy railroad tracks from Broadway to the family farm to assist in her birth. She lived on the farm for her entire life until she moved to VMRC at age 102. Until nearly the end of that time she maintained her home, garden and driver's license.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Clarence A. Whissen, whom she married in 1967, and by four brothers, J. Ward Shank, D. Paul Shank, John F. Shank and Samuel S. Shank; two nieces; a nephew and a great-niece. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Kathryn S. Shank, and nieces and nephews of three generations. One great-nephew in particular, Don W. Shank of Broadway, was especially beloved; he visited her almost daily for over 20 years.
Martha graduated in 1953 from Eastern Mennonite College with teaching credentials. In 1963, she earned a master's degree from James Madison University. She began teaching in 1957 at Broadway Elementary School and later at Plains Elementary School in Timberville. She dearly loved her fourth and fifth grade students, and they were fond of her. Over the years she was warmly greeted by many of her former students when they met her in the community. Martha retired in 1979 after having taught for 22 years.
Martha was a lifelong member of Zion Mennonite Church, for which her grandfather, Samuel Shank, donated the land in 1885. Martha was a faithful and loving daughter, caring for her parents in their home until they died. She loved her Lord, her church, her pastors, and her Sunday School class. She was an active member of the Zion sewing circle, binding comforters at home when she no longer attended meetings. Her extended family was beloved, and she wanted them near her.
After her retirement from teaching, Martha pursued her interests in needlework of all kinds, piecing and quilting many quilts, in gardening (especially roses), in reading, and in bird watching.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 11 a.m. at Zion Mennonite Church, 3260 Zion Church Road with Pastors Ervin Stutzman, Harvey Yoder, and Mike Metzler presiding. Burial will be at the Zion Mennonite Church cemetery in a private service for the family.

Wickey, Maryann L.M., 22, of LaGrange, died at 7:40 am on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at her residence. She had suffered from Cerebral Palsy her entire life. She was born on April 25, 1996 in Wells County to Ervin L. and Christine M. (Schwartz) Wickey.
Survivors in addition to her mother are seven brothers, Reuben (Maryann) Wickey of LaGrange, Johnny (Maggie) Wickey of Centerville, MI, Menno (Marlene) Wickey, Levi Wickey, Ervin (Sara Jean) Wickey, David (Sylvia) Wickey, Joe Wickey all of LaGrange; four sisters, Martha (Sylvan) Eicher of Burr Oak, MI, Christine (Lonnie) Yoder of Howe, Ida Wickey and Elizabeth (Jacob) Stoltzfus all of LaGrange; 23 nephews and 23 nieces. She was preceded in death by her father and two stillborn nieces.
Visitation will be after 2:00 pm on Monday, January 7, and all day Tuesday, January 8, at Reuben Wickey residents, 0235 N. 400 E. LaGrange. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Wednesday, January 9, at David Schwartz residence, 0380 N. 400 E. LaGrange. Services will be conducted by Bishop Maynard J. Miller and the home ministers. Widmer, Daniel Dean, 93, of Albany, Oregon died April 14, 2019 at the same place. He was born May 13 1925 at Wayland, Iowa to Christian and Elizabeth (d. 1975) Widmer. On April 6, 1948 at Albany Mennonite Church, Albany, Oregon he was married to Edna Mildred Leichty, who was born September 1, 1927 and died April 10, 2019.
Surviving are children, Lucy (Loren) Noftsier, David (Rose) Widmer, Sarah (Sheridan) Mock, Laura (Jon) Harder, and Tim (Alexandra) Widmer; eleven grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Widmer, Edna Mildred Leichty, 91, of Albany, Oregon died April 10, 2019 at the same place. She was born September 1, 1927 at Albany to Nicholas and Magdalena (Maurer) Leichty. Magdalena was born March of 1890.
On April 6, 1948 at Albany, she was married to Daniel Dean Widmer, who was born May 13, 1925 and survived. He died four days later on April 14, 2019.
Surviving are children, Lucy (Loren) Noftsier, David (Rose) Widmer, Sarah (Sheridan) Mock, Laura (Jon) Harder, and Tim (Alexandra) Widmer; eleven grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were held June 15, 2019 at Albany Mennonite Church, Albany, Oregon.
Wingard, Carl, 92, of died October 27, 2019 at the same place. He was born January 17, 1927 at Tire Hill, Somerset Co., PA to Robert and Katie (Blough) Wingard. He was married to Elsie (Smoker) Wingard who died in 1980 and Wilma Jean (Mishler) Naugle Wingard who died in 2014.
Surviving are children, Donald Wingard, Elverson and Thomas married to Linda (Stoltzfus) Wingard, Narvon; three step-daughters: Pam Britt, Johnstown; Bonnie Beam married to Kevin O'Hare, Elverson; and Kimberly J. Moore, Reading; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
Also, five siblings: Glenn Wingard, Ethel Weaver, Grace Yoder, Freeman Wingard and Betty Lou Petersheim preceded him in death.
Carl was the owner of Carl Wingard, Inc., a petroleum business in Elverson. He was a member of Forest Hills Mennonite Church, Leola.
Memorial services were held November 10, 2019 at Garden Spot Village, New Holland, Lancaster Co., PA with burial in Eby Cemetery.

Clarence J. Wingard, 88, of Shipshewana, died at 8:43 am on Thursday, January 3, at his residence. He was born on December 8, 1930 in Shipshewana, to Joseph J. and Fannie Mae (Miller) Wingard. On December 31, 1959 in Shipshewana, he married Edna Otto; she survives.
Survivors in addition to his wife are five daughters, Irma (Larry) Yoder of Shipshewana, Freda (Daryl) Miller of LaGrange, Elma (Kenneth) Fry and Anna Mae (David) Miller both of Millersburg, Vera (LaVern) Yoder of Shipshewana; four sons, Ernest (Christine) Wingard of Syracuse, Freeman (Betty) Wingard and Clarence (Jeanette) Wingard Jr. both of Shipshewana, Jerry (Anita) Wingard of Middlebury; 46 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary (Orley) Miller of Shipshewana, Ruby (Ervin) Mast of Middlebury; six brothers, Joseph (Betty) Wingard Jr., Raymond (Dora) Wingard, Freeman (Leora) Wingard, Ferman (Barbara) Wingard all of Shipshewana, John (Sara) Wingard of Topeka, Jay (Ruth) Wingard of Shipshewana; three sisters-in-law, Esther Wingard, Mary Kathryn Lambright and Emma Schrock all of Shipshewana.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Perry, Elmer, and Mahlon Wingard; five sisters, Ida Mae Schrock, Elizabeth Schlabach, Mary Mast, Esther Lambright, Erma Wingard; and one grandchild.
He was a farmer and senior bishop in the Old Order Amish Church.

Irene Wingard, 91, of Shipshewana, died at 12:52 am, on Tuesday, June 25 at her residence. She was born on October 28, 1927, in Topeka, to Perry and Amanda (Miller) Lehman. On December 11, 1947 in Topeka, she married Olen J. Wingard; he died February 24, 1999.
Surviving are three daughters, Ruby (Amos Jr.) Schlabach, Etta Fern (Melvin H.) Yoder both of Shipshewana, Marlene (Wayne) Fry of Topeka; three sons, Wilbur (Liz)
Wingard of Topeka, Glen Wingard, Lavern (Vicki) Wingard both of Middlebury; 21 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruby Yoder of Topeka, Wilma (Wilbur) Lambright of Shipshewana; sister-in-law, Lizzie Ann Lehman of Goshen. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three great-grandchildren; brother, Mervin Lehman.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Wise, Jonathon T., 18, of New Holland, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019 as a result of an accident.
Born in Reading, he was the son of Luke R. and Carol J. Weaver Wise of New Holland.
Jonathon was employed by Martin's Ag Service. He enjoyed working on vehicles and helping out with whatever needed done. He was a member of the Weaverland Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.
Surviving besides his parents are eight brothers, Jeffrey husband of Brenda Leid Wise of Narvon, Cordell husband of Lorelle Hursh Wise of Ephrata, Ryan husband of April Brubacker Wise of Stevens, Jay husband of Tiffany Judkins Wise of East Earl, David Wise and Jared Wise both of Leola, and Gary Wise and Kenton Wise both of New Holland; three sisters, Kendra of Summerfield, OH, Sabrina Wise and Kaitlyn Wise both of New Holland; He is also survived by a special friend Janita Weaver, a paternal grandmother, Anna Wise of Myerstown; and maternal grandparents, Edward and Arlene Weaver of New Holland. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Luke and Lydia Wise and by two brothers, Justin and Jordan Wise.

Witmer, Andrea Faye
March 08, 1988 - November 12, 2019
Andrea Faye Witmer, of Goodhue, Minnesota, born March 8, 1988 passed away at home on November 12, 2019 at 31 years, 8 months, 4 days. With Down’s syndrome and a quiet personality, she was a special part of her family and friends. Her ability to read and to memorize songs gave her a large collection of children’s choruses and classic hymns which she sang lustily from the swing in the yard, her chair in the living room, and the back of the car as she traveled about with family. Andrea loved to be with people but not to be noticed. She attended Christian schools for 20 years where she endeared herself to changing age groups as they passed her in academic skills. A brain tumor discovered in August of this year took her life when she peacefully passed away with Mother and Father close by.
She is survived by her father and mother, Aaron and Rhoda Witmer of Goodhue, Minnesota; six siblings; Tonya (Mrs. Mervin) Brubaker of Bryant, Wisconsin, Trenton and Ivy Witmer of Goodhue, Minnesota, Lisa (Mrs. Brent) Eberly of Salem, Ohio, Marla (Mrs. Delbert) Showalter of Lake City, Minnesota, Ivan Witmer of Goodhue, Minnesota, Davon Witmer of Goodhue, Minnesota and 26 nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Andrea will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, at Rolling Meadows Mennonite Church, 36540 County 2 Blvd in rural Goodhue. Friends and family may visit from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 15, at the church, and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Witmer, Carol S. Leaman
September 6, 1958 - June 27, 2019
Carol S. Witmer, 60 of Stuart, FL, passed from this life to eternity on June 27, 2019 following a five-year illness from a rare cancer. Carol was born September 6, 1958 the seventh child of the late Henry and Marian Garber Leaman of Lancaster, PA.
A graduate of Millersville University, Carol taught elementary grades in PA at Locust Grove School and in the Penn Manor School District. She loved her first-grade students and delighted in making special Christmas and year end gifts for each child. Outside the classroom, Carol enjoyed sewing, home decorating, rehabbing houses, cooking, kayaking, and her church worship and small group.
Her positive outlook inspired by her unshakable trust in Jesus Christ gave her a peace that touched many. She prayed that her life, including suffering, would point to Jesus, her source of salvation and joy. She and her husband and best friend, Dave, were gifted with 39 years of loving, adventurous marriage. She dearly treasured their two daughters, Jenni (Dan) Kirkley, Millersville, PA and Audra (Jared) Peifer, Lititz, PA, and eight wonderful grandchildren.
She is survived by six siblings: Sara Leaman, Jim (Sheryl) Leaman, Ken (Judy) Leaman, Ron (Joyce) Leaman, Rachel (Loren) Johns, and Lois (John) Jantzi.

Dorothy Arlene (Boll) Witmer, 84, of Washington Boro, died early Wednesday morning, January 16, 2019 at her Manor Twp. home. She was the wife of E. Luke Witmer. They were married on June 6, 1953.
Born July 14, 1934, in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late David O. and Edna (Hottenstein) Boll. She was a member of the Mountville Mennonite Church, Mountville, PA.
Also surviving are five children; Donna M., married to Joseph I. Charles, of Washington Boro., R. Eldon Witmer, married to Edith S. (Martin), of Richfield, R. Lamar Witmer, married to Barbara (Lenhert), of Lancaster, Sharon W., married to Kevin L. Yoder, of Elkhart, IN and J. Larry Witmer, married to Miriam F. (Kreider), of York; 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and four siblings; M. Eugene Boll, married to Helen M. (Haller), of Manheim, David O. Boll, Jr., married to Marian (Sensenig), of Manheim, Velma J., married to Dale L. Schnupp, of Lebanon and Marian R., married to Carl K. Metzler, of Manheim.
She was also preceded in death by two great-grandchildren and two brothers; R. Harold Boll and Clarence M. Boll.

Witmer, H. Howard
August 24, 1925 - July 2, 2019
H. Howard Witmer, 93, of Lititz, and formerly of Manheim, passed away at Landis Homes, Lititz, on Tuesday, July 2, 2019. Born August 24, 1925 to the late J. Earl and Ruth Mae Shearer Witmer. He was the husband of Miriam Mohler Witmer with whom he shared 66 years of marriage. He was a lifetime member of Erisman Mennonite Church in Rapho Township.
Howard was a retired Bishop of the Lancaster Mennonite Conference. He was an overseer of Mennonite Churches in the Manheim and Williamsport-Milton district. He served as secretary of Lancaster Conference. He made a number of fraternal visits to the Mennonite Churches in Southeast Asia. Howard served on various Boards of Eastern Mennonite Missions, Eastern Mennonite Seminary, and Philhaven Hospital. He served in Civilian Public Service during World War II.
His interests were his family and churches. Howard enjoyed reading and studying. His hobbies were raising sheep, gardening, bee keeping, broom making, and genealogy. For many years he and his wife operated Witmer's Kitchen Kourner gadget stand at Roots Country Market. During retirement he enjoyed volunteering at Mennonite Central Committee in Ephrata.
Surviving in addition to his wife Miriam, is a daughter, Arlene wife of Mahlon Yoder of Baltic, OH, and a son Dave Witmer, of Stuart, FL, five granddaughters: Jenni wife of Daniel Kirkley, Audra wife of Jared Peifer, Rachel wife of Zach Miller, Annie Yoder companion of Jade Le, and Caroline wife of Drew McComber, twelve great-grandchildren, and a sister, Reba Miller of Lititz. Preceding him in death is a daughter-in-law, Carol Witmer, and a brother, J. Abram Witmer.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Howard's memorial service at Landis Homes Retirement Community, WEST BETHANY CHAPEL, 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz, on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family at Landis Homes Retirement Community, WEST BETHANY CHAPEL, on Friday evening, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. There will be no visitation on Saturday morning. Interment will be private in Erisman Mennonite Cemetery.
Witmer, Harold F., 92, of Manheim passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lampeter, he was the son of the late Frank and Minerva Kreider Witmer. He was the loving husband of the late Naomi K. Mumma Witmer who died in 2015. Harold operated a dairy farm in Schuylkill County and he drove school bus for Strasburg and Cornwall School districts. He was a member of East Petersburg Mennonite Church and enjoyed helping with the lawn mowing for the church cemetery. Harold loved vegetable gardening and traveling to Potter and Tioga Counties.
Surviving are three children, Harold "Jr." husband of Nancy Witmer of Elizabethtown, James M. Witmer of Pine Grove and Rachel wife of Jay Hilsher of Manheim, 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two siblings, Raymond husband of Shirley Witmer of Lewistown and Jane Siegrist of Leola. He was preceded in death by a son, Leon Witmer and five siblings, Hansel and Jay Witmer, Marion Wenger, Miriam Lehman and Mary Brown.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at East Petersburg Mennonite Church, 6279 Main Street, East Petersburg on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM. There will be a viewing at the church on Tuesday evening from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM and again at the church on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery.
Witmer, Heather Lynea
Delmar - Heather Lynea Witmer, age 8, of Delmar, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at her home.
She was born on December 9, 2010 in Seaford, Delaware.
She is survived by her parents, Roy and Teresa Witmer; sisters, Makayla, Sierra, Megan, and Daryen; grandparents, Claire Witmer, Phil Good, and Karen Good; aunts and uncles, Phyllis and Jake Amstutz, Shirley Witmer, Carla and Mark Byers, Brenda and James Yoder, Lynette and Eddie Montero, Eldon and Marilyn Witmer, Kristina and Michael Eberly, Tanya and Marcus Mast, Andrea and Marlen Schlabach, Kendra and David Hooley, and Kara and Stephen Miller; and 45 cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Florence Witmer.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Salisbury Mennonite Church, 14592 Pepperbox Road, Delmar, DE. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the Christian Community Center, 408 Gordy Road, Salisbury, MD. Interment will follow the service at Salisbury Mennonite Church Cemetery.

Witmer, Lena Frances Rhodes
January 15, 1930 - June 16, 2019
Lena Frances Rhodes Witmer, 89, of Dayton, passed June 16, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Witmer was born Jan. 15, 1930, in Rockingham County and was a daughter of the late Samuel and Ella Rohrer Rhodes.
She was a homemaker and member of the Riverdale Old Order Mennonite Church.
On Jan. 20, 1954, she married Daniel Rhodes Witmer, who preceded her in death on May 26, 2013.
Surviving are five sons, Harold Witmer and wife, Milda, of Dayton, Mark Witmer, of Hinton, John Witmer and wife, Josephine, of Dayton, Carl Witmer and wife, Judith, of Bridgewater, and Lewis Witmer and wife, Donna, of Harrisonburg; two daughters, Edna Showalter, of Windsor, Ky., and Linda Kisling, of Millersburg, Ohio; three brothers, Roy Rhodes and wife, Grace, Homer Rhodes and Charles Rhodes and wife, Janice; two sisters, Betty Horst and Edna Martin and husband, Clark; two brothers-in-law, Joseph Beery and Leon Burkholder, all of Dayton; 35 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters; three brothers; two sons-in-law, Elon Showalter and Richard Kisling; a brother-in-law, Mark Horst; and a sister-in-law, Lois Rhodes.
Ministers of the church will conduct a funeral service Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at 10 a.m. at the Riverdale Old Order Mennonite Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The body will be taken to her home, where friends may call Monday after 1 p.m. and Tuesday until 8 p.m.

Witmer, Owen M.
February 1, 1933 - February 5, 2019
Owen M. Witmer, 86, passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon, February 5, with his loving family around him.
Mr. Witmer was born on February 1, 1933, in Columbiana, OH, a son of Enos L. and Hannah (Wenger) Witmer. Owen graduated from Greenford High school, where he was a part of the state basketball team. He married the former Nancy Reesor on October 4, 1958, and together they would raise four children. Owen was self-employed as a dairy farmer.
He was an active member in the North Lima Mennonite Church where he was an elder, taught Sunday school, and sang in the choir. Owen loved to spend time on the deck and by his pond with his children, grandchildren, family and friends. He was instrumental in starting Harmony Village and served on the Board of Directors of Mennonite Mutual Insurance.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory his wife Nancy of Salem, four children Dr. Elvin (Lisa) Witmer of Boston, NY , Rita (Jay) Esbenshade, Roger (Kim) Witmer and Connie Witmer all of Salem; nine grandchildren Craig, Ian and Blaise Witmer of NY, Aaron (Susie) Esbenshade of TX, Kenton (Brianna) Esbenshade of OR, Anja (Jeremy) Gruber of Columbiana, and Marisa Miner, Jenna and Kade Witmer of Salem; five great-grandchildren Alex, James, Elvin, Kolten, and Hans; his siblings brothers Ralph of Salem Daniel of Orville, E. James of Alliance, Homer of St. Jacobs, ON; sisters Stella Ressor of Stouffville, ON, Vesta (Ross) Landis of Orville, OH, Esther Witmer of West Liberty, OH and Marjorie Byer of Harrisonburg, VA; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mr. Witmer was preceded in death by his parents, brothers J. Elmer and Elvin and an infant sister Grace.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Greenford Christian Church, 11767 Lisbon Rd., Greenford, OH, 44422, with Pastor Bob Wengerd officiating.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 8 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Greenford Christian Church and again Saturday morning from 9:30-10:30 prior to the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made in Owen’s memory to the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley, 962 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Youngstown, OH 44510.

Woolschlager, Dorothy M. Lehman, 85, of Glenfield, Lewis Co., NY died June 30, 2019 at the same place. She was born June 6, 1934 at Croghan, Lewis Co., NY to Mildred (Lehman) Zehr. On June 24, 1953 at Beaver Falls, Lewis Co., NY she was married to Lowaine A. Woolschlager, who was born February 15, 1933 and died May 23, 2018.
Surviving are children, Sandra Woolschlager; Scott and Christina Woolschlager; and Suzette and Fred Cole; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; a sister, Marge (Lehman) Lyndaker and a brother, Edward McHale.
Dorothy was a lifelong member of First Mennonite Church, New Bremen; a hospice volunteer for over 26 years, and was recognized as Volunteer of the Year. She drove bus for 26 years until retirement in 1997.
Memorial services were held July 3, 2019 at First Mennonite Church, New Bremen, Lewis Co., NY with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
