Enos H. Schrock, 99, of McMinnville, Ore., died April 14, 2013, at Rock of Ages Mennonite Home. He was born Dec. 18, 1913, to Harvey and Susan Yoder Schrock in Hutchinson, Kan.
Growing up, he worked with his father on the family farm. In 1937, the Schrock family moved to Sheridan. On Aug. 18, 1940, he married Mildred Shenk in Sheridan.
They farmed in the Gooseneck area until 1962, when they moved to Sheridan. Then he was a logger until they purchased a feed store. He and Mildred operated E & M Schrock Feed and Farm Supply from 1967 to 1978.
He trusted Jesus Christ as his Savior as a young man and loved and served him faithfully. He was a member of Sheridan Mennonite Church, where he served as deacon for many years. He helped found Mill Creek Christian School and served as school board secretary, bus driver, handyman and monitor in the school. The students loved and enjoyed him.
He was a people person who loved serving others. He loved his family, especially enjoying his granddaughters and great-grandchildren. A man of sincerity, integrity and principle, he was loved and respected by many.
Survivors include his two daughters, Doris Schrock of Sheridan and Norma Birky and her husband, Marlon, of Coaldale, Alta.; three granddaughters; two great-granddaughters and three great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Mildred, on Oct. 26, 2012; and by two brothers, Manassa and Reuben.
Memorial services were held at Sheridan Mennonite Church. Burial was in the Mennonite Cemetery, Willamina.

Lloyd Stanley Schroeder, 86, died April 5, 2013, at Kidron Bethel Village in North Newton, Kan. He was born on July 6, 1926, to John P. and Marie Goertz Schroeder of rural Marion County.
He was baptized into Goessel Mennonite Church in 1943. He graduated from Goessel High School in 1944. He served two years in Civilian Public Service in South Dakota, Montana and Colorado. He took up farming on his return, and on April 11, 1950, married Marlene Schroeder of Goessel.
They worked together for the rest of their married lives, raising grain and poultry, and in the 1970s founding their Pine Creek Farm Christmas tree business, which continues today. While their children were growing up, he and Marlene served as 4-H community leaders for nine years. He was a trustee and treasurer of Goessel Mennonite Church and served as a board member and later board president for the Mennonite Heritage Museum in Goessel. He was an avid bird feeder and installed houses for different species around his farm. He sang in numerous church and community choirs. He especially loved the Kansas Mennonite Men's Choir, where he was a regular for more than two decades.
After Marlene's death in 2007, he moved to Kidron Bethel Village in North Newton.
Survivors include three daughters, Rhonda Ramsey and her husband, Stewart, of Lenexa, Jana Schroeder and her husband, Lauro Medina, of Tepoztlan, Mexico, and Ardie Goering and her husband, Wynn, of Albuquerque, N.M.; a brother, Ken of Hillsboro; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene; a son, Ja Schroeder; and brother, Rick Schroeder.
Memorial services were held at Bethel College Mennonite Church. A private burial took place at Goessel Mennonite Church Cemetery.

Cleo W. Weaver, 91, of Harrisonburg, Va., died May 8, 2013, at Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community. He was born on June 30, 1921, in Harrisonburg.
He lived and worked in College Park, Md., for 40 years. He had a great career in various kinds of business, the most recent as a Commercial Real Estate agent and developer. After retiring to Harrisonburg in 1992, he enjoyed time for golf, tennis, family and friends. He was a member of Harrisonburg Mennonite Church, where he enjoyed singing and church activities. He was also a longtime member of Rotary International and received a 50-year pin for perfect attendance.
On Aug. 19, 1944, he married the love of his life, Edith Metzler Weaver, who preceded him in death on Feb. 3, 2009.
Survivors include three sons, Larry W. Weaver and his wife, Karen, Richard L. Weaver and his wife, Mary, and Kenneth C. Weaver and his wife, Diane; a daughter, Susan M. Weaver and her husband, Tom Funk; two brothers, Richard S. Weaver and Henry D. Weaver; a sister, Janet W. Yoder; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith; a son, William E. "Bill" Weaver; and a sister, Virginia W. Driver.
Graveside services were held at Lindale Mennonite Church Cemetery. A memorial service was held at VMRC Detwiler Auditorium.
