Addis.- Margaret Patricia "Pat" Vollmer, 86, New Holland, Pa., died May 22. Spouse: John Fredrick and Margaret Payne Vollmer. Children: Charles Addis Ill, F. Scott Addis; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Funeral to be held at a later date at Garden Spot Village, New Holland.

Baus.- Edward Daniel, 98, Archbold, Ohio, died July 23. Spouse: Leanna M. Nofzinger Baus (deceased). Parents: Peter and Katherine Erbes Baus. Children: Gene Baus, Larry Baus; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Funeral: July 28 at Central Mennonite Church, Archbold.

Bishop.- Elizabeth Muriel "Sandy" Swartz, 93, Souderton, Pa., died June 24. Spouse: Paul Benner Bishop (deceased). Parents: Clarence Beidler Swartz and Sarah Elizabeth Proctor Horn. Children: Rebecca Hendricks, Donna Bluemink, Dave Bishop, Alexander Bishop, Paul "Jonathan" Bishop, Nicole Michal Bishop; 18 grand- children; 24 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren. Funeral: June 28 at Living Branches Souderton Mennonite Home.

French.- Sheldon W., 75, Belleville, Pa., died July 15. Spouse: Thelma Yoder French. Parents: Mark E. and Mary Harshbarger French. Children: Brad French, Michelle French, Angie French-Reese; one granddaughter. Funeral: August 1 at Maple Grove Mennonite Church, Belleville.

Grasse.- Betty Stover, 88, Lansdale, Pa., died May 2. Spouse: John M. Grasse. Parents: Edwin A. and Eva Clemmer Stover. Children: Elizabeth Grasse, Linda Siemens, Sandra McKeon, Martha Young, John Aberle-Grasse; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Funeral: May 14 at Blooming Glen Mennonite Church, Blooming Glen, Pa.

Grubert.- Bodo Manfred, 83, Elkhart, Ind., died June 27. Spouse: Clara V. Miller Grubert. Parents: Paul J. and Martha Westphal Grubert. Children: Karen Fowler, Linda Grubert-Miller, Heinz Grubert, Paul Grubert, 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. Funeral: July 2 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart.

Hartman.- Richard E., 90, Elida, Ohio, died June 9. Spouse: L. Esther Diller Hartman. Parents: Henry and Elizabeth Diller Hartman. Children: David Hartman, Paul Hartman, Joe Hartman, Sabrina Skaja; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Funeral: June 13 at Pike Mennonite Church, Elida.

Horst.- Barbara, 99, St. Jacobs, Ontario, died Aug. 9. Spouse: Noah Horst (deceased). Parents: Menno and Lovina Horst. Children: Janet Shorten, Barbara Ann Horst, Lois Horst, Lawrence Horst, Ruth Dianne Horst; one grandchild; one great-grandchild. Funeral: Aug. 21 at Calvary United Church, St. Jacobs.

Jones.- Richard C., 72, Pottstown, Pa., died July 15, of cancer. Parents: Paul S. and Mabel L. Christophel Jones. Children: Tami Scheetz, Barbara Schueck, Christi Engle, Todd Jones; seven grandchildren. Funeral: July 20 at Boyertown Mennonite Church, Boyertown, Pa.

Kauffman.- Naomi H., 77, Bucks County, Pa., died unexpectedly at her residence on July 8, 2015. She was the wife of S. Duane Kauffman. The couple celebrated 55 years of marriage in June. Born in Leola, Pa., Lancaster County. She was the daughter of the late D. Lester and Mae (Buckwalter) Hoover. Naomi received her BS in Elementary Education from Eastern Mennonite College, Harrisonburg, Va., and her Masters in Library Science from Kutztown University (Pa.). She taught school and was librarian for many years in local schools. Naomi was a lover of books and had a passion for libraries, especially church libraries. She was librarian at Perkasie Mennonite Church and mentored many other librarians. She started the Buxmont Church Librarians Association and chaired the planning committee. Naomi was deeply involved in the Church and Synagogue Librarians Association, a national organization, and served as president on several occasions. Naomi was a longtime member of the Perkasie Mennonite Church, where she served on many committees as well as taught children in Sunday school and Summer Bible School. She loved travel, flowers, and teaching children and had an eye for beauty. She cared deeply for her family and friends and was active in many ministries of service to others. In addition, to her husband, she is survived by a brother, Edwin Hoover (wife Edith), sister Ada Kassa, brother Norman Hoover (companion Beth), and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held July 19 at Blooming Glen Mennonite Church.

Keens.- Jenna Kristine Shirk, 30, Harrisonburg, Va., died June 29. Spouse: Geoff Keens. Parents: Eric David and Karen Shirk Hochstetler.* Celebration of life service: July 9, at Lindale Mennonite Church.

King.- Irene Ann, 78, Archbold, Ohio, died June 25. Parents: William Henry and Lydia Short King. Funeral: June 29 at Central Mennonite Church, Archbold.

Litwiller.- Russell, 62, Hopedale, Ill., died Aug. 1. Spouse: Sherry Springer Litwiller. Parents: Lloyd and Sarah Mast Litwiller. Children: Elise Voth, Nathan Litwiller, Rudy Litwiller; one grandchild. Funeral: Aug. 5 at Hopedale Mennonite Church.

Martin.- Adeline, 91, St. Jacobs, Ontario, died June 24. Parents: Anson and Lydia Ann Lichty Martin. Funeral: June 27 at Floradale Mennonite Church, Floradale, Ontario.

Meyer.- Doris Jean Eigsti, 88, Wayland, Iowa, died July 14. Spouse: Dean Meyer (deceased). Parents: Emery I. and Edna Ruth Wenger Eigsti. Children: R.D. Meyer, Robert Meyer, Kathy Schooley; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral: July 17 at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church, Wayland, Iowa.

Mishler.- Maurice W., 87, LaGrange, Ind., died July 29. Spouse: Dorothy P. Birky Mishler. Parents: Ira and Mabel Speicher Mishler. Children: Bob Mishler, Beth Yoder; five grandchildren. Funeral: Aug. 2 at Shore Mennonite Church, Shipshewana, Ind.

Schmid.- Frederic Williams, 46, Lederach, Pa., died July 14. Parents: George Martin Schmid and Pat Wilson-Schmid. Child: Joy Elizabeth Nelson. Funeral: July 21 at Salford Mennonite Church, Harleysville, Pa.

Stahl.- William M., 86, Bridgewater, S.D., died July 16, of cancer. Spouse: Joann Kleinsasser Stahl. Parents: Mike J. and Katheryn Gross Stahl. Children: Carol Meyer, Mark Stahl, Jeanie Nold, Faith Sarfarazi; nine grandchildren. Funeral: July 20 at Hutterthal Mennonite Church, Freeman, S.D.

Steckley.- Esther Yoder, 99, Pigeon, Mich., died July 17. Spouse: John G. Steckley (deceased). Parents: Henry A. and Barbara Guengrich Yoder. Children: Norma Tucker, Carolyn Marker, Linda Middleton; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral: July 24 at Michigan Avenue Mennonite Church, Pigeon.

Sutter.- Josephine Ring, 86, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, died Aug. 1. Spouse: Clarence Raymond Sutter (deceased). Parents: Charles Olney Ring and Vera Mae Miller Ring. Swartley.- Esther Grace Moyer, 90, Sellersville, Pa., died July 28. Spouse: Emerson M. Swartley (deceased). Parents: Vincent and Mary Ellen Landis Moyer. Yoder.- Melvin Lester, 88, Hesston, Kan., died May 2, of cancer. Spouse: Cleo Marie Miller Yoder (deceased). Parents: Samuel J. and Mary E. Schrock Yoder. Zehr, Marvin Dean, 89, Waverly, Iowa died July 7. Spouse: Florence Eigsti Zehr. Parents: John and Marie Zehr. Children: Barbara Yoder, Julia Cowan, Dr. John Zehr, Calvin Zehr, Stanley Zehr; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral: July 18 at Manson Mennonite Church, Manson, Iowa.
