Schlabach- Lorenzo Frederick
, son Shem and Sarah (Swartzentruber) Schlabach, was born March, 17, 1890, in Koskioski* County, Indiana. He died April 1 1971, at Greenwood, Deleware.
His family moved to, Thomas, Oklahoma, when he was 12 years old, where he grew to manhood. He married Polly A. Miller, daughter of Ananias B. and Elizabeth (Yoder) Miller, on October 2 1913.
In 1931, he and his family moved to Sussex County, Delaware. He was a member of the Greenwood Mennonite Church where he was active until the last few years of his life. He was a farmer all his life. He was also, an able Bible teacher and counselor and wrote many articles for church papers (including H.d.W.).
He is survived by his wife Polly and ten children- Dr. Walter E., Harrisonburg, Va.; Loyd, Greenwood, Del.; Paul, Hilltown, Pa.; Mary (Mrs. Clayton Bender), Harrington, Del.; Martha (Mrs. Gerald Tucker), Delphos, Ohio; Frederick, Timothy, Titus, Evangel, Greenwood Del.; Pollyanna (Mrs. John Eby), Milroy, Pa.; 40 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers: Elias, Sarasota, Fla. and Ezra, Goshen, Ind.
Until the death of the deceased, there had never been a death in his family or that of any of his children.
His passing will be keenly felt by his family, his church, and the community of Greenwood. Funeral services were in charge of John Mishler and David Miller, brother-in-law of the deceased. Interment in the Greenwood Mennonite Church Cemetery.

SCHROCK - Tillie (Beachy) Schrock,
daughter of the late David S. Beachy, was born Dec. 10, 1886; died April 10, 1971, near Arthur, Ill. Aged 84 yr. 4 mo. She was married to Joseph L. Schrock Dec. 1, 1907. He died Nov. 27, 1941. They were both members of the Old Order Amish Church. She is survived by 5 sons and 8 daughters, 64 grandchildren, and 55 great-grandchildren, Her children are: Mrs. Menno (Lydia) Lee, Brooksville, Miss.; Katie (deceased), first wife of Abraham A. Schrock, Arthur, Ill.; Mrs. Albert (Saloma) Stutzman, Shreve, Ohio; Mrs. Andy (Anna) Stutzman, Wyoming, Del.; Levi J., Sullivan, Ill.; Mrs. Levi (Lizzie) M. Miller, Morrison, Tenn.; Noah J., Westphalia, Kans.; David J., Garnett, Kans.; Mrs. Enos (Lovina) N. Schrock, Arthur, Ill., on the home place; Mrs. Ed (Susie) Hershberger, Arthur, Ill.; Mrs. Sol (Cora) Yutzy, McMinnville, Oregon; Rudy J., Brooksville, Miss.; Mrs. Levi (Ella) Mast, Danville, Pa.; and Dan T., Arthur, Ill. Two sisters and a brother survive. Her parents, seven brothers, two sisters, one son, and two daughters predeceased her. The services were held in the family home near Arthur, by Melvin J. Yoder, Amboy, Ind., and Wm. G. Miller, Arthur, with burial in Otto Cemetery.

Stutzman. - Lizzie (Beachy) Stutzman, wife of Jones J. Stutzman, Arthur, Ill., was born Nov. 6, 1907. Died Dec. 6, 1971, age 64 years, 1 mo. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. She was a dau. of the late Pre. Samuel D. and Barbara (Schrock) Beachy, and married Nov. 26, 1925. She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, six children and 18 grandchildren. Children as follows, Daniel J. of New Haven, Ind.; Henry J. of Plain City, Ohio; John J. of Arthur, Ill.; Martha, Ella, and Ida, at home. One daughter died in 1929, also two grand-daughters predeceased her.
Funeral services were -held in the home of her son John, Dec. 9, 1971, by Levi J. D. Herschberger of the home church, and Neal J. Eash of Shipshewana, Ind., and Will A. Mast and David J. Stutzman of Pulaski, Iowa, in small house. Burial in Miller Cemetery, Arthur, Illinois.
