   JANTZI, Mary Gerber;   JESS, Larry Dale;  


JANTZI- Mary (Gerber) Jantzi was born in Waterloo County, Ontario, Canada, on Nov. 23, 1901; died in Hospital in Kitchener, Ont., May 7, 1974, at the age of 72 years, 5 months and 14 days. On Feb. 15, 1923, she was married to John W. Jantzi, who survives (married over 51 years). Also surviving are 2 sons and 5 daughters. David and Delmar of Wellesley, Mrs. John L. (Esther) Zehr, Mrs. Ralph (Katie) Ger-ber, Mrs. Roy (Madeline) Gerber, Mrs. Jacob (Alma) Zehr, all of Millbank, Ont., and Mrs. Raymond (Edna) Jantzi of Wellesley. Four brothers, John, Daniel, and Christian of Wellesley, and David of New Hamburg, Ont. Four sisters, Mrs. Annie Jantzi, Mrs. Daniel (Lena) Brenneman, Mrs. Ezra (Emma) Brenneman, Mrs. Ezra (Katie) Steckley all of Wellesley. She was preceded by one son and two brothers. In her youth she accepted Christ as her Sav-iour and was baptized in the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church, remaining faith-ful to her end caused by a heart attack. Services were held at the Cedar Grove Church, on May 10, 1974, by Arthur Ger-ber and Melvin Jantzi of the home con-gregation; burial in Cemetery nearby.

JESS.- Larry Dale, son of John and Viola (Helmuth) Jess of Arthur, Ill., was born Oct. 26, 1969; died Nov. 20, 1974, at the age of 5 years and 24 days. Death was caused by falling and a corn wagon go-ing over his body. He is survived by his parents, 1 brother, Phillip. 3 sisters, Karen Sue, Marilyn Jean, and LeAnna Kay, also his grandparents, Albert and Anna (Miller) Helmuth, 6 uncles, 8 aunts. He was preceded in death by his other grand-parents, Levi and Anna (Hostetler) Jess, and 1 uncle. Services were held in the home by Mins. Willis Herschberger and Alvin T. Miller of Kalona, Iowa. In basement house by Mins. Willian G. Miller, Arthur, and Andy Herschberger, Kokomo, Ind. Burial in Yoder Cemetery near by.
