   DIENER, Anna Mast;   Frey, Harvey B.;   

DIENER.- Anna (Mast) Diener of R.R. 1, Arthur, Ill.; daughter of Henry and Lucy (Yoder) Mast, was born June 7, 1894 in Douglas County, Ill.; died Jan. 7, 1977, at the age of 82 years, 7 months. She was a member of the O.O. Amish Church. On Dec. 7, 1916, she was married to Obed Diener, sharing life's joys and sorrows over 60 years. She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, 3 sons and 6 daughters: Henry of Middlebury, Ind., Jerry of Arthur, Dannie of Lovington, Ill., Mrs. Henry (Katie Ann) Bontrager, Humboldt, Ill., Mrs. Milton (Ly-dia) Miller, Mrs. Milton (Lucy) Otto, both of Arcola, Ill., Mrs. Eli (Fannie) Gingerich, Sullivan, Ill., Mrs. Richard (Emma) Bennet, Steger, Ill., Mrs. Fred (Mary) Mast of Paxinos, Pa.; 58 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren. Also 4 brothers and two sisters, Jacob and Dan Mast of Indiana, Rudy Mast, Arthur, Menno Mast, Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Adlai (Katie) Miller, Arthur, Mrs. John (Lena) Hochstedler of Kalona, Iowa. She was preceded by her son Andrew, one brother and two grandsons. Services were held in the home Jan. 10, 1977, by the home Min. David D. Schrock, and Bish. Henry A. Miller. Burial in Yoder Cemetery southeast of Arthur.

Frey, Harvey B. 

Harvey B. Frey, 75, of Pettisville, died Monday morning at Detwiler Manor in Wauseon where he had resided the past six months. He was born near Pettisville, living his entire lifetime in the general area. He retired from farming in 1956 and then worked at Archbold Ladder Co. for ten years, retiring in 1966. He was a member of the West Clinton Mennonite Church near Pettisville.
He is survived by six sons, James and Merle, both of Wauseon, Vincent of New Carlisle, Carl of  Pettisville, Ronald of Phoenix, Arizona, and Edward Waidelich of Archbold; 20 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Ed B. Frey and Ora Frey, both of Pettisville; and two sisters, Mrs. Sylvan (Pearl) Rupp of Archbold and Mrs. Charles (Bessie) Miller of Wauseon.

Services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 at West Clinton Mennonite Church with Rev. Edward Diener and Rev. Walter Stuckey officiating. Interment will be in the Pettisville Cemetery. Friends may call at Short Funeral Home in Archbold. The family requests that memorials be given to the Mennonite Board of Missions.
