SCHROCK. - Edna (Miller) Schrock, dau. of William and Sarah Miller, was born Mar. 31, 1903 in Haven, Kansas. She was married to David J. Schrock, who preceded her in death on Mar. 24, 1973. She departed this life Aug. 25, 1977, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Roman (Anna) Yoder of Millington, Maryland, at the age of 74 years, 4 months, and 26 days. She leaves to mourn her departure ten children: Mrs. Roman (Anna) Yoder of Millington, Md.; Joe of Constantine, Mich.; Willie of Kalona, Iowa; Mahlon of Greenwood, Wis.; Andy of Dover, Del.; Mrs. Andy (Polly) Hersh-berger of Arcola, Ill.; Perry of Huntington, Tenn.; Mrs. Joe (Susie) Coblentz of Kalona, Iowa; Mrs. Junior (Rachel) Hershberger of Arthur, Ill.; and David of Willard, Wis. Also 47 grandchildren and 5 great-grand-children; one brother, Joe W. Miller of Middlebury, Ind., and one sister, Rosa, Medford, Wis. Services were held in the Tobias J. Miller home near Kalona, Iowa, by Min. Jonas Helmuth, Hazelton, Iowa, and Min. Monroe M. Yoder, Sugarcreek, Ohio. Burial in Peter Miller Cemetery northeast of Ka-lona, Iowa.

SCHROCK.- Noah H., son of Harvey and Lucy J. (Yoder) Schrock of Arthur, Ill., was born Apr. 12, 1959, and died July 23, 1977, following an accident on hard road 3½ miles east of Arthur; at the age of 18 years, 3 months and 23 days. He was a member of the O. O. Amish Church. He was married to Martha Diener, whom he leaves to mourn his early departure, also a small son; his parents, two brothers, Ivan and Owen, both of Arthur, five sisters, Kathrine, Susanna, Luella, Lena and Bar-bara at home. Services were held in his parents home on July 25, by Bish. Joe Herschberger of Ohio, and Min Ervin J. Schrock of Arthur. In small house by Min. Noah Wagler of Daviss Co., Ind., and Min. Andy Herschberger of Kokomo, Ind. Also in a tent by Min. Jacob A. Schrock of Ind. and Bish. Ben Wagler of Daviss Co., Ind. This was the largest Amish funeral ever held in Illinois, over 1100 people. Burial in Miller Cemetery 3 ½  miles east of Arthur.

Shaub, Samuel Z.
, 77 of Stevens, Lancaster Co., PA died April1, 1977 in the Los Robles Hospital, Thousand Oakes, Calif. Mr. Shaub was visiting his son, Ammon in Thousand Oaks when he became ill. Born in Lancaster County, a son of the Phares and Lizzie (Zimmerman) Shaub. He was a member of the Valley View Mennonite Church, Schoeneck, PA.

Surviving, in additiona to his one son, are his widow, Nora Mae (Hursh) Shaub; two other sons: Walter, Stevens, PA; and Samuel, Aloha, Ore; Eight Daughters: Miriam, wife of Walter D. Slaybaugh, Punxsutawney, PA; Irene wife of Wallace King; Nora Mae wife of Harold Kilheffer both of Lancaster, PA; Mabel wife of Clarence Yoder of Lessburg, Fla.; Ada, wife of Warren Bender, Washington, Lancaster Co., PA; Anna Mary, wife of Charles Smith, Manheim, PA; Charlott, wife of Arthur Deck Coatsville, PA; and Arlene wife of Robert Giberson, Willow Street, PA, thirty-three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Christian Z., Reading, PA; and three sisters; Mrs. Barbara Good of Selinsgrove, PA; Mrs. Lizzie Auker; and Mary, wife of Ammon Auker, both of Ephrata, PA.

Services were April 6, 1977 in the Centerville Mennonite Church, Bishop Isaac K. Sensenig officiating. Burial was in the Centerville Mennonite cemetery.

Shue, Monroe G.
Jan. 19, 1893-Jan. 16, 1977

Monroe G. Shue, 83, Gettysburg R3, died at 7:10 Sunday morning at the Warner Hospital where he was admitted on Saturday. He had been under a physician's care for the last two years.

A native of Adams County, he was a son of the late Samuel and Anna M Shank Shue. He was a charter member of the Bethel Mennonite Church, Gettysburg R6. He was a self elployed plumber and sheet metal worker in Adams County form 1919 until he retired three years ago. He was a member of the Cashtwon Commuint Fire Co.

Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Bucher to whom he had been wed for 56 years, three children, Chester R Shue, Gettysburg R3 Mrs. Earl (Elizabeth Schmidt), Biglerville, and Paul B Shue, Harper, Kan.; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Wednesday morning form the Monahan Funeral Home with his pastor, Rev. Robert L. Shreiner, and Rev. Nelson Martin, officiating. Interment will be in the Mummasburg Cemetery.
