BRENNEMAN,
Daniel;
BRENNEMAN.-
Daniel, son of the late Samuel and Mary (Erb) Brennman, was born
June 1, 1905, in Waterloo County, Ont.; died in his home in Lisbon,
Ont., on Nov. 28, 1979, at the age of 74 years, 5 months and 27 days.
He was a member of the Cedar Grove Amish Congregation. On Jan. 30,
1929, he was married to Lena Gerber, who survives. Also surviving are
two sons, Mahlon of Cambridge, Ont., and Earl of Millbank, Ont.; arid
four daughters, Mrs. Emanuel (Annie) Ropp; Mrs. Jacob (Mary) Jantzi,
both of R. 1, Wellesley, Ont., Mrs. Daniel (Vera) Lichty, R. 4,
Brussels, Ont., and Mrs. Delmar (Dorothy) Lichty, R. 1, Millbank; 13
grandchildren, 1 brother Ezra of Wellesley, and 2 sisters, Katherine,
widow of the late Bishop Samuel Roth, and Bena, both of Wellesley. He
was prede-ceased by 1 brother Menno, and 2 sisters, Emma, Mrs. Amos
Wagler, and one who died in infancy. Daniel was a gifted singer and
many times led in singing in the church services, weddings or singings;
although he was a wheel-chair patient for thirty years, this did not
prevent him from using his gift. Services were held at the Cedar Grove
Church An Dec. 1, 1979, by Bish. Arthur Gerber and Min. Mahlon Ger-ber.
Burial in the adjoining cemetery.
