NAFZIGER.-
Nancy, daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Gerber) Wagler, was
born Oct. 22, 1891, in Perth County, Ont,, died at her home near
Brunner, Ont., Nov. 21, 1979, at the age of 88 years and 30 days. She
was a member of the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church. On Feb. 20,
1913, she was married to Christian R. Erb, who predeceased her Nov. 1,
1920. On Jan. 18, 1925, she was married to John S Nafziger who
survives. Also surviving are one son, Dan W. Erb of Poole, Ont.; four
daughters: Mrs. Sylvester (Annie) Martin of Linwood, Ont.; Mary, widow
of the late Aaron Steckly of Wellesley, Ont.; Mrs. Christian E. (Katie)
Gerber, Wellesley; and Mrs. Norman L. (Amy) Zehr, Brunner, Ont.; 19
grand-children; 35 great-grandchildren; one sister Mary, widow of the
late Menno Brenneman. She was predeceased by one sister Esther, wife of
Amos Steckly, two brothers Amos and Ezra, two sisters Mrs. Noah
(Barbara) Erb, and Mrs. Samuel (Katie) Gascho. Services were held Nov.
24, 1979, at the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite meeting house by Bish.

NISSLEY - Ada
(Hershberger-Yoder) Nissley, daughter of John and Magdalena
(Mil-ler) Hershberger, was born in Washington County, Iowa, Aug. 18,
1892; and died Nov. 21, 1979, from cancer, at the age of 87 years, 3
months and 3 days. She accepted Christ as her Saviour in her youth and
be-came a member of the Old Order Amish Church. On Nov. 26, 1912, she
was united in marriage to Noah J. Yoder, who pre-ceded her in death
Mar. 11, 1929. To this union were born 3 sons and 3 daughters: Mrs.
Henry (Wilma) Mast, Mrs. Tobias J. (Ruth) Miller of Kalona, Alvin of
Hutchinson, Kans., Simon of Leon, Iowa, and Mrs. Glen (Susan) Beachy of
Kalona, where she had her home. One son Joseph died in infancy (five
days old). Wilma also preceded her in death on Aug. 21, 1952.
On July 26, 1936, she was married again to Bishop Ira Nissley, who
preceded her in death on June 28, 1971. She is survived by 5
step-children: Mrs. Henry E. (Irene) Ben-der, Kalona, Iowa; Ellen of
Sarasota, Fla.; Mrs. Edgar (Bertha) Helmuth, Costa Rica; Eli Nissley,
Millersburg, Ind.; David, Goshen, Ind.; also 3 sisters and 2 brothers:
Mrs. Lewis (Lena) Ropp, Mrs. Jesse (Anna) Shetler, Ruth, Daniel and Joe
all of Kalona. One brother Edwin and one sister Barbara preceded her in
death. Also surviving her are 37 grandchildren, 26 stepgrand children,
58 great-grandchildren, 60 stepgreat-grand-children, and many other
relatives and friends. Services were held in the Glen Beachy home by
Bishop John N. Kramer of Jamesport, Mo., and Bishop Abe Gingerich of
Arthur, Ill. In the grandpa house by Bishop Tobias J. Detweiler of
Jamesport, Mo., and Bishop Edward E. Nisley of Ar-thur, Ill. Burial in
the East Union Cemetery north of Kalona, Iowa.

OTTO.
- Mrs. Mary, daughter of John and Jemima (Beiler) Mast, was born
Dec. 5, 1907; died Oct. 16, 1979, at the age of 71 years, 10 months and
11 days. On Sept. 15, 1949, she was married to Jacob E. Otto and lived
in matrimony over 30 years. To this union was born one son, John J. She
leaves to mourn her departure her husband, 1 son, 4 sisters, Mrs. Chris
(Sovilla) Schrock, Mrs. Menno (Annie) Stutzman of Arthur, Ill., Mrs.
Elmer (Nancy) Otto, Mrs. Lewis (Mattie) Schlabach, one brother, Fred
Mast of Sullivan, Ill., and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in
death by her parents and one brother, Jonas. Services were held in the
home of Levi H. Miller on Oct. 20, Min. Fred J. Miller of Milton, Iowa,
and Bishop Jacob R. Troyer of Fredericksburg, Ohio. Burial in Yoder
Cemetery southeast of Arthur, Illinois.

PLANK
- Fanny (Yoder) Plank was born Jan. 8, 1905 near Arthur, Ill.
and died Nov. 7, 1979 in the Edna Miller home, at the age of 74 years,
9 months and 29 days. She lived in matrimony 45 years. She is survived
by her husband Jacob C. Plank, one daugh-ter Mrs. Mahlon (Edna) Schrock
of Greenwood, Wis., one son Marvin Noah Plank of Arthur, Ill.; 3
sisters and 7 brothers: Henry, Lovington, Ill.; Chriss, Tuscola, Ill.;
Mattie Miller, Huntsville, Ark.; Elvan, Arcola, Ill.; Enos, Plain City,
Ohio; Sylvanus and Mrs. Steve (Katie Ann) Kauffman, both of Ar-thur,
Ill.; Andrew Ray, Leonard, Mo.; Mrs. George (Clara Mae) Martin, New
Holland, Pa.; Nelson, Rocky River, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, besides
other relatives and friends. Services were held in the Edna C. Miller
home on Nov. 10, by Bishop Simon Hos-tetler of Jamesport, Mo., and
Bishop Levi Plank of Nappanee, Ind. Burial in Otto Cemetery south of
Arthur. Illinois.
