John W. Stuckey, 67, RR3, Archbold, died Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 11,
[1979] in his residence.
Born near Archbold he was a son of Mr. and Mrs.
peter [sic] J. Stuckey. A retired farmer, he owned and operated
Stuckey's Bulk Feed service for 35 years until about six years ago.
Survived by his wife, Bertha; one son, Dr. Allen
Stuckey, Bellefontaine; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Annabelle) Erch,
Pocatello, Idaho; Mrs. Walter (Orlene) Mason, Grosse Ile, Mich.; and
Mrs. Steve (Louise) Rudo, Jr.; North Royalton; two brothers, Orville
and Chauncey, both of Archbold; two sisters, Mrs. Otto (Alta) Nafziger
and Mary Stuckey, both of Archbold and nine grandchildren.
A family service was held Friday afternoon in Short
Funeral Home, followed by burial in Lockport Cemetery. A memorial
service was held Friday at 2:30 p.m. in Lockport Mennonite Church
conducted by Rev. Keith Leinbach, Rev. Walter Stuckey and Rev. Charles
Kamp.
