Weaver, Sarah Miller


Sarah Weaver, 91, of 61000 Ind. 13 S., Goshen, died at 8:15 a.m. Monday (Feb 15, 1988) at home after a six-week illness.

She was born Aug. 15, 1896, in Holmes County, Ohio.  As Sarah Miller, she married Noah Weaver on Nov. 11, 1917.  He died June 2, 1966, in Goshen.  Surviving are two daughters, Arvilla Weaver and Mrs. Enos (Lulu) Bontrager, both of Goshen; a son Arvan, Seymour, Mo., and 23 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs, Jonas (Mary) Hershberger, Cumberland, Va. ; and a brother, Roman Miller, Plain City, Ohio.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the family home.  Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Obie Miller home on C.R. 35.  Bishop Allen Miller, the Rev. Alton Bontgrager and the Rev. David Bontrager ill officiate.  Burial will be in the Miller Cemetery.  The Miller Funeral Home, Middlebury, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Weaver moved to the Goshen area from Iowa in 1961.
