Cora
Kauffman. 78, rural Wauseon, died suddenly early Monday morning, April
15,
1991, shortly after arrival at the Fulton County Health Center,
Wauseon, after
suffering an apparent heart attack at home.
Born Feb.
16, 1913, near Archbold, she was the daughter of Simon and Loueza
(Nofziger)
Short, and Married Orval Kauffman on Nov. 12, 1935.
She was a lifetime resident of the
Archbold-Wauseon area, and a member of the Central Mennonite
Church, near
Archbold.
Survivors
include her husband, Orval; two sons, Glen Kauffman, Wauseon; and
Donald
Kauffman, Fremont, Neb.; two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Evelyn) Rychener,
Wauseon;
and Mrs. Ron (Mary) Short, Archbold; 13 grandchildren; five
great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Dora Schrock, Archbold.
Services
are tomorrow, Thursday, at 10:30 a.m. in the Central Mennonite
Church with Ross
Goldfus
as the officiating pastor. Burial is in
the Pettisville
Cemetery. Friends may call at the Short Funeral Home,
Archbold.

Kauffman, S. David

RICHFIELD - S. David Kauffman, 84, of Richfield RD1 died Thursday morning, May 30,1991, at his residence.
Born March 2, 1902, in McAlisterville, he was the son of the late Samuel David and Elizabeth Weaver Kauffman. In 1929 he married Kathryn Ruth Graybill Kauffman who died in 1970.
Mr. Kauffman was educated in the Heister Valley and Cross Roads Schools. He was a carpenter for 60 years, retiring in 1976. He was a member of the Cross Roads Mennonite Church.
He is survived by a son, the Rev. Laban P. of Richfield RDI; three daughters, Anna May of Richfield RD1; Naomi E. Weaver of Paraguay and Rhoda E. Grove of Hanover; a step-sister, Nettie Hoffman of Evandale; 22 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at the Cross Roads Mennonite Church by the Rev. Orval Graybill, the Rev. Timothy Lauver and the Rev. Carl Graybill. Burial will be in Lauver's Mennonite Ceremony, Cocolamus.
Visitors may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the George P. Garman Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant Mills.
