GOSHEN - Friends of Nathan E. Reiff may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and one hour prior to the10 a.m. Saturday service at Prairie Street Mennonite Church in Elkhart. The Rev. Dan Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart.
Mr. Reiff, 92, of 1300 Greencroft Drive, died at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday (Dec. 2, 1997) in Greencroft Gables. He was born on April 7, 1905, in Newton, Kan. He married Freda Imhoff on Sept. 2, 1928, in Eureka, Ill. She died Dec. 8, 1993.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Joan) Lyons of Stuart, Fla.; a son, Dr. James Reiff of Sturgis; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. An infant son,Kenneth E.; two sisters, Susie and Mary; and five brothers, Vernon, Jake, Tillman, Irving and David, are deceased.
Mr. Reiff moved to Elkhart in 1923 and attended Goshen College. He worked for First National Bank in Elkhart as the manager of the bank's insurance agency from 1927 until 1971. He worked for Travel Equipment Corp. and First National Insurance Agency in Goshen before taking a position in 1977 with the public relations staff of the Mennonite Board of Missions, retiring in 1983. Mr. Reiff was a member of Prairie Street Mennonite Church, where he helped start the church preschool Sunday school class, and Elkhart and Goshen rotary clubs. He was past president of the Indiana Chapter of Gideons International and had served for 25 years as chairman of the board of Managers for Hope Rescue Mission. Memorials may be given to the Greencroft Foundation or
the church.

Edward D. Riegsecker, 69,
Archbold, died Saturday, June 13, 1998, at the Fulton County Health
Center, Wauseon, where he was admitted Thursday.
Born July 22, 1928, near Ridgeville Corners, he was
a son of Jacob and Eva (Kauffman) Riegsecker, and married Lueen Grieser
on Dee. 6, 1953. A lifelong resident of the Archbold area, he was a
self-employed crane operator for many years before retiring in 1988. He
was a member of the Central Mennonite Church, and the Better Breathers
of Toledo.
Survivors include his wife, Lueen; one son, Alan
(Tammy) Riegsecker, Archbold; three daughters, Mrs. Terry (Sandra)
Aeschliman, Archbold; Mrs. Russ (Rita) Rupp, Wakarusa, Ind.; and Mrs.
Larry (Beverly) Bonilla, Aibonito, Puerto Rico; 12 grandchildren; three
brothers, Walter Riegsecker and Richard Riegsecker, both of Archbold;
and Marlin Riegsecker, Upland, Calif.
Memorial services were Tuesday, 4 p.m., at the
Central Mennonite Church with Wayne Pipkin and Charles Gautsche as the
officiating pastors. Burial preceded the service in the Pettisville
Cemetery.

Roth, Norma I. Schweitzer
Norma
I. Roth, 88, Wauseon, died Thursday evening, Dec. 3, 1998, at
Fulton Manor, Wauseon, where she had resided since May 5, 1998.
Born Oct. 12, 1910, near Milford, Nebr., she was a
daughter of
Christian and Nancy (Yousey) Schweitzer. She married Reuben Roth on
Jan. 26, 1929, and he preceded her in death on June 22, 1981. She lived
at Tofield, Alberta, Canada, from 1929 to 1941 before moving to
Wauseon, where she was head dietitian at the Burr Road Middle School
for 15 years. Since retiring she was assistant manager for the
Ranchland Village Motor Inn, Defiance, about five years. Her
memberships included Central Mennonite Church.
Surviving are one son, Edward L. (Mildred) Roth,
rural Archbold;
one daughter, Mrs. John (Nancy) Smith, Wauseon; 11 grandchildren; 25
great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Floyd (Hazel) Burden, Mt.
Pleasant, Iowa; and Gladys Stutzman Phoenix, Ariz.
Memorial services were Monday, 4 p.m., at the
Central Mennonite
Church with Wayne Pipkin, Jeff Smith, and Neil Amstutz the officiating
pastors. Burial preceded the service in the Pettisville Cemetery.

Elnora L. Beck
Elnora L. Rupp, 94, Archbold,
died Monday, Aug. 10, 1998, at the Fulton County Health Center,
Wauseon, where she was admitted Aug. 5. She had resided at West
Haven of Fairlawn Village since November, 1997.
Born July 13, 1904, near Archbold, she was a
daughter of Henry and Emma (Nofziger) Beck. She married Harry A. Rupp
on June 20, 1929, and he preceded her in death in 1958. A lifelong
resident of the Archbold area, she was a cook at Archbold Area Schools
for many years before retiring, and a member of the Central Mennonite
Church.
Surviving are one son, Thomas (Sue) Rupp, Fremont;
two grandsons; two brothers, Verden (Letha) Beck, Archbold; and Leonard
(Wilma) Beck, Wauseon; two sisters, Mrs. Lloyd (Ilva) Nofziger,
Wauseon; and Mrs. Archie (Bernice) Kauffman, Archbold.
Memorial services were today, Wednesday, 11 a.m. at
the Central Mennonite Church with Wayne Pipkin and Charles Gautsche as
the officiating pastors. Burial preceded the memorial service in the
Pettisville Cemetery.
