Lantz,
Lewis "Junior"
Lewis "Junior" Lantz, 74, rural Wauseon, died at
his residence Thursday, May 25, 2000.
Born April
17, 1926, in Archbold, he was a son of Lewis and Alice (Gigax) Lantz.
On Dec.
24, 1949, he married Eloise Kast who preceded him in death on Oct. 20,
1999.
He was a
lifelong resident of the Morenci-Fayette area and formerly employed at
ITT in
Archbold where he retired in 1993. He was a member of the Inlet Mennonite Church
and served his
country in the US Navy in WW II and the Korean Conflict.
Survivors
include four daughters, Mrs. Richard (Susan) Henricks, Fayette; Sandra
Lantz,
Lyons; Kathleen Demaline, Wauseon; Mrs. Leslie (Barbara) Allen,
Morenci; three
sons, Mrs. Ronald (Dianne) Lantz, Archbold; David and James Lantz,
Wauseon; 20
grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marjorie Lantz
and Mrs.
Jim (Arlene) Smith, both of Morenci.
Funeral
services were at the Inlet
Mennonite Church,
Saturday, at. 11 a.m. Rick Jones was the officiating pastor. Burial was
in the Lyons
Cemetery.
