Raber, Eli A.
May 14, 1929 - September 19, 2002

Eli A. Raber, 73, of Blackville, S.C. died Sept. 19, 2002. He was born in Holmes County to Andrew J.D. and KatieAnn (Yoder) Raber.

Surviving are his wife, Edna J. (Miller) Raber; daughters, Esther E. Williams of Summerville, S.C., Ina Sue Schrock of Barnwell, S.C., Melinda Kay Dice of Weyers Cave, Va., Martha Ruth Wagler of Washington, Ind., Mary Naomi Knepp of Myakka, Fla.; sons, Atlee E. Raber and David Wayne Raber, both of Blackville, S.C.; 17 grandchildren; stepsister, Mrs. Jacob Mast of Fresno; a brother, Melvin A.J. Raber of Walnut Creek and a stepbrother, Simon Yoder of Plain City.

Services were Sept 22, 2002 at Barnwell Mennonite Church. Burial will be at Calvary Fellowship Mennonite Church Cemetery in Healing Springs, S.C.

Raber, Levi J.D.
August 8, 1920 - October 3, 2002

Raber, Levi J.D., 82, of Millersburg, Ohio Oct. 3, 2002, at the Majora Lane Nursing Home, Millersburg, following and extended illness. He was born Aug. 8, 1920, in Becks Mills, Holmes County, to Jacob D. and Mattie (Miller) Raber and married Edna A. Troyer on Feb. 6, 1941. She died June 24, 1998.

Surviving are three children, Mrs. Floyd (Lydia) Yoder of Killbuck, Wayne L. Raber of Millersburg and Mrs. Ervin (Lucy) Miller of Millersburg; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Oct 6, 2002. at Grace Mennonite Church with the Rev. Robert Schrock officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant View Church Cemetery.

Born: 11-30-1931, West Earl Twp., Lancaster Co., Pa. Died: 4-12-2002, Leola, Pa.

Husband of: Barbara Martin Reiff.  Son of: late Eli N. and Anna B. Eberly Reiff

Member of: Groffdale Old Order Mennonite Church (Groffdale Conference)

Survivors: Sons: Alvin M. (Minerva Sensenig) Reiff, Isaac M. (Ruth Weaver) Reiff, Eli M. (Kathleen Martin) Reiff, all of Mifflinburg, Pa. and Laurence M. (Alma Martin) Reiff, John M. (Dorcas Burkholder) Reiff, both of Leola.

Daughters: Laura M. (John J.) Rissler of New Enterprise, Esther M. (Nelson) Martin of Greenwich, Ohio, Ruth M. Reiff, Barbara M. (Paul) Rissler of Leola, and Annetta M. (Aaron E.) Zimmerman of Owens, Wis. Grandchildren: 57. Great-grandchildren: 2

Brothers: David E. (Lydia Burkholder) Reiff of Ephrata, Pa., Aaron E. (Laura Zimmerman) Reiff of Millmount, and Ammon E. (Nora Zimmerman) Reiff of East Earl.

Sisters: Lena E. (Adam) Sauder of Penn Yan, NY, Ella E. (Harvey) Zimmerman of Ephrata, Anna E. (Lawrence) Ramer of Goshen, Ind.

Services: Tuesday, April 16, 2002 at residence, 9:00 a.m., with further services at Groffdale Old Order Mennonite Church, West  Earl Twp. at 9:30 a.m., with Bishop Ben Martin officiating.  Burial followed in Groffdale Old Order Mennonite Cem., adjoining the church.

Rhoads, Barbara Ann Marshall
, 64, of Mt. Joy, PA died December 21 2002 in York County, PA in a traffic accident. She was born July 14, 1938 at Grottoes, VA to Franklin and Rena (Shifflett) Marshall. In 1978 in Lancaster Co., PA she was married to Lawrence Rhoads, who was born November 19, 1934 and died September 23, 1997.

Surviving are a daughter, Robin A. (Dennis L.) Levan, and a son, Dale Rhoads, 3 grandchildren, a brother, Shirleye F. (Deanna) Marshall, and two sisters, Kay Foley, and Wanda L. (Rodney L.) Usner.

Memorial services were held December 24, 2002 at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Elizabethtown, PA with burial in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, Columbia, Lancaster Co., PA.

Riehl, John F
.

Born: 10-21-1948, Leacock Twp., Lancaster Co., Pa.  Died: 12-12-2002, New Providence, Pa.

Husband of: Lydia Stoltzfus Riehl, who survives.  Son of: Jacob M. & Elizabeth K. Fisher Riehl of Lancaster, Pa.

John was a retired farmer and member of Old Order Amish Church.

Survivors:  In addition to his wife and Parents, sons, B. John, at home, Amos K. (Rebecca Blank) Riehl of Madisonburg, Pa., and
Benuel S. (Dora Zook) Riehl of Paradise, Pa. Daughters, Mary S. (Mervin) Stoltzfus of Narvon, Pa., Linda S. (Isaac) Fisher, Katie S. Riehl, Elizabeth S. Riehl and Ruth S. Riehl, all at home. Grandchildren: 11.   Sisters, Fannie (Jacob) Lapp of Gap, Pa., Rebecca (David) Beiler, and Mary (Stephen) Petersheim, both of Narvon, Pa., Linda Riehl of Lancaster, Pa. Brothers, Abner (Anna) Riehl, and Moses (Ruth) Riehl, both of Strasburg, Pa. and Jacob (Lena) Riehl of Kinzers, Pa.

Services: From the late home, 154 Reston Rd., New Providence, Pa. on Saturday at 10:00 am.  Interment in Bunker Hill Amish Cem., Strasburg, Pa.

Born: 5-22-1900, Neffsville, Lancaster County, Pa.   Died: 4-12-2002, Lititz, Pa.

Wife of: Henry B. Rohrer, who died in 1979

Daughter of: Christian and Mary Hartman Bucher.

Mother of: two sons, H. Kermit (Elaine) Rohrer of Mountville, and Myron (Rosanna) Rohrer of Manheim; a daughter, Doris Brubaker of Mt. Joy.
Grandmother to: 9 grandchildren.  Great grand-mother to: 14 great-grandchildren

Member of: Columbia Mennonite Church, and Manor Sewing Circle
Services: West Bethany Chapel of the Landis Retirement Home, Lititz, Pa., with Pastors Donald Good and Paul Charles officiating.  Burial in Silver Spring Cemetery, Silver Spring, Pa.

Roth, Wilma M. Stamm


Wilma M. Roth, 88, Archbold, died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002, at the Fulton County Health Center, Wauseon, where she was admitted Tuesday.
   
Born Sept. 19, 1914, near Archbold, she wasa daughter of Gustav and Priscilla (Stuckey) Stamm. She married Glen A. Roth on Sept 1, 1936, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 26, 1989.
   
A life1ong resident of the Archbold area, she taught many years in the Franklin Township and Fayette School Districts. She was a member of the Lockport Mennonite Church, rural Stryker.
   
Survivors include two sons, Gene, (Sheila) Roth, and Thomas (Sally) Roth, Archbold; one daughter, Mrs. William (Dawn) Walsh, Archbold; nine grandchildren; five  great- grandchildren; three brothers, Paul (Delilah) Stamm, Waldron, Mich.; Harold Stamm, Wauseon; and Duane (Betty) Stamm, Archbold; four sisters, Beulah Stockburger, West Unity; Mrs. Luther (Geneva) Shetler, Bluffton; Zelma Kauffman, and Grace Eicher, Archbold.
   
Memorial services were Sunday, 3 p.m. at the Lockport Mennonite Church. Allen Rutter, Mark Miller, and Wendy Miller were the officiating pastors. Burial in the Lockport Cemetery.
