Weaver, Eugene H. 
  October 13, 1954 - October 10, 2002
Eugene H. Weaver, 48, of 4993 Division Highway, East Earl, died of natural causes Sunday at Community Hospital of Lancaster after a long illness. He was founder and owner of Quality Trucklines Inc. in Denver, a trucking and warehousing firm, since 1979. He was a member of Conestoga Mennonite Church in Morgantown.
Weaver enjoyed working on cars, raising cattle and other livestock and spending time in the mountains. Born in East Earl, he was the son of the late Franklin N. and Esther Huber Weaver. He was married 28 years on Oct. 19 to Kathleen Kurtz Weaver.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two brothers, Ervin H., husband of Sharon Eberly Weaver of Bowmansville, and Leo H., husband of Elaine Martin Weaver of Ephrata; three sisters, Minerva H. Horst of New Holland, Mabel H., wife of Ken Reiff of Denver, and Elaine H. Weaver of Denver; two half-brothers, John B. and Joseph D. Weaver, both of East Earl; and a half-sister, Anna Mary Weaver of Ames, Iowa.

Paul was a member of Centerville Mennonite Church where he served as a minister. He was an electrician, having worked for Edgar H. Martin, Ephrata and Conestoga Wood Specialities in East Earl in maintenance Departments and stock room.

    Roy Weaver, 98, of Carlisle, [PA] died Tuesday, March 26, 2002,
  in Harrisburg Hospital, [Harrisburg, PA]
  Born Feb. 7, 1904, in Blair County,[PA] he was a son of the late Martin
  M. and Bertha A. Bookwalter Weaver and the widower of Leah Hertzler
  Weaver.
  
A farmer in York County,[PA] he was the oldest living member of Slate
  Hill Mennonite Church. [His wife Leah died 1933, he rasied the 3 small
  children & lived alone 69 yrs.] 
  Mr. Weaver is survived by a daughter, Bertha M. Martin of Mt. Joy,
  [PA]; two sons, Chester C. of Carlisle, [PA] and Harold H. of
  Massachusetts; a brother, Joseph of Carlisle,[PA]; a sister, Viola
  Weaver of Carlisle, [PA]; 13 grandchildren; 77 great-grandchildren; and
  seven great-great-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in Slate Hill
  Mennonite Church, 1352 Slate Hill Road, Camp Hill, [PA] with Bishop
  Paul W. Nisly, Bishop Harold Weaver Jr. and Chester Weaver Jr.
  officiating.
  Burial will be in Slate Hill Cemetery, Lower Allen Township. Friends
  may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday following services at the
  church.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Fannie M. Witmer, 87, of 180 B Menno Village, and formerly of 1853 Edgar Ave., died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002, at Menno Haven Nursing Home.
Born Sept. 7, 1914, in Franklin County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late David L. and Lydia Wadel Myers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Witmer.
She was a self-employed private home housekeeper. Earlier, she worked at J. Schoeneman Co.
She was a member of Rowe Mennonite Church.
She is survived by one foster daughter, Margaret Diller of Shippensburg, Pa.; stepgrandchildren; stepgreat-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one stepdaughter and one brother.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Rowe Mennonite Church. Bishop Allen Martin and the Rev. John Horst will officiate. Burial will be in Old Rowe Cemetery, Southampton Township, Pa.
Visitation will be Saturday at 9 a.m. at the church.
Memorial donations may be made to Rowe Mennonite Church, 754 Pinola Road, Shippensburg, PA 17257.

    Ind. died Sunday, June 2, 2002, at
    Goshen General Hospital from injuries suffered in a car accident near
    Goshen. She moved to Goshen from Archbold in 1989. 
        
    Born March 6, 1986, to Sam and June (Short) Wyse,
    she was a
    sophomore, at Bethany Christian School, Goshen. A high school
    cheerleader, she was also a member of the volleyball arid softball
    teams, and a 4-H club member. Her memberships included Waterford
    Mennonite Church where she served on the Youth Council. 
        
    Survivors include her parents, Sam and June Wyse;
    one sister,
    Alyssa Ray, Raleigh, N.C.; one brother, Matthew (Kristin) Wyse, Dayton,
    Ohio; grandparents, Ruthann Short Oyer, Patricia and Charles Wyse, and
    step-grandfather, James Oyer, all of Archbold. 
    Service is 10 a.m. Friday in the church with calling today, Wednesday,
    6-8 p.m. and Thursday, 2-4, and 6-8 p.m. Burial is in Violett Cemetery,
    Goshen.

Yoder, Lester W. 74, of Baltic and formerly of Sugarcreek, Ohio, died Monday, Aug. 19, 2002, at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born Sept. 10, 1927, in LaGrange, Ind. to William Yoder and Emma (Mullet) Yoder Miller. He married Minerva (Mullet) Yoder on Jan. 4, 1949. She died April 17, 1994. He married Nettie (Miller) Yoder on Dec. 16, 1996, and she survives.

Russell S. Zeager, 87, died Thursday evening October 31, 2002 at Rheems Nursing Center. He as born April 22, 1915 in West Donegal Township Lancaster Co., PA, he was the son of the late Paul L. Sr. and Mamie Lehman Zeager. He was married 62 years in September to Anna Mae Givens Zeager,
Rev. Zeager was the pastor of Strickler Mennonite Church in Middletown from 1947 until his retirement in 1993. He also worked at the family-owned Zeager's Sawmill and later for B&G Lumber in Elizabethtown. He enjoyed working on the family hunting cabin in Union County.
Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Lloyd of Lancaster and Samuel, married to Joy Zeager of Elizabethtown; four daughters, Mary, married to Melvin Sweikert of Lancaster, Miriam, married to Clifford Campos of Elizabethtown, Martha, married to Jay Greiner of Harrisburg, and Margaret, married to Marlin Kauffman of MifflintownHe was the oldest of 17 children. …

      Born Nov. 17, 1909, near Wauseon, she was a daughter
  of Albert and Priscilla (Vonier) Grieser. She married Albert Zuercher
  on April 8, 1937, and he preceded her in death on April 18, 1992. 
      A lifelong resident of the Archbold area, she had
  been a custodian at the Archbold Area Schools, and with her husband was
  the custodian at the Central Mennonite Church. She was a member of
  Central Mennonite Church, rural Archbold. 
      Survivors include two sons, David (Becky) Zuercher,
  Berthoud, Colo., and Robert Zuercher , Archbold; two daughters, Mrs.
  Dave (Annabelle) Kratz, Clarksville, Md., and Mrs. Glenn (Sharon) Bart,
  Aurora, Colo.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandsons; two brothers;
  Kenneth Grieser, Evansport, and Wayne (Jane) Grieser, West Unity; two
  sisters, Edith Wyse and Rutheda Stuckey, both of Archbold. 
      Services are Friday, 11 a.m., at the church. Jeffrey
  Smith and Cliff Brubaker are the officiating pastors. 
      Burial follows in the Pettisville Cemetery.
