Survived by her husband Mark; two daughters, Arlene R. Martin of Spring Grove, Pa., and Louella K. Diller at home; five sons, Jay M. Diller and Melvin R. Diller, both of Carlisle, Ralph A. Diller of Auburn, N.Y., Myron J. Diller and Aldine H. Diller, both at home; six sisters, Esther S. Rudolph of Carlisle, M. Lois Danner of Hanover, Rhoda G. Roudolph of New Oxford, Pa., Eunice M. Shank and Orpha E. Shank, both of Hanover, and Rebecca K. Brubaker of Carlisle; two brothers, Jacob M. Shank and Enos M. Shank, both of Hanover; and 21 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Paul D. Shank.
Services will be Feb 15, 2004 at Mountain View Mennonite Meeting House. The Mountain View Church Ministry will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Ebersole, Corey M., 28, of Quentin, PA died Monday, September 20, 2004 in his residence. Born in Lebanon, PA to Nathan L. and Jan Eakins Ebersole. He was a member of Gingrichs Mennonite Church, Lebanon.
Surviving in addition to his parents is a brother, Clayton M. Ebersole of Hanover. Maternal Grandparents, Marlon and Wilma Eakins of Estacada, Oregon, and Paternal Grandparents, Norman and June Ebersole of Annville, 1 Niece and 1 Nephew, and several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday at Sept 24, 2004 from Gingrichs Mennonite Church, Lebanon, PA. Interment will be held at the convenience of the Family.

Ebersole, Herbert Stoner, 76, Pensacola, FL, died Oct. 17, 2004 at his his sons home in Colquitt, Georgia. Born April 14, 1928 in Elizabethtown, PA Levi W. & Anna Stoner Ebersole. He married Edna Stoltzfus in January 1950. He was ordained minister at Gingrich's Mennonite Church Lebanon, PA November 4, 1952. In 1954 Herbert and his family Moved to Pensacola, FL in misson work and built the first Pensacola Mennonite Church. In 1980-1987 they were in mission work at Guatamala, SA
Surivied his wife Edna and eight children: Rachel, wife of Galen Yoder, Sara, wife of Simon Yoder, both of Dublin, Georgia, Steve, married to Sandra Kurtz, Lebanon, Becky, wife of Vernon Martin, Pensacola, FL, David, married to Cindy Martin, Colquitt, Georgia, Phillip, married to Karen Sensenig, Siquetetque, Honduras, Miriam, wife of Scott Simes, Pensacola, and Kenneth, married to Susan Hoffman, Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA. There are 74 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren. Also, He is survived by four brothers, Ernest, married to Naomi Thomas, Lancaster, Paul, married to Arlene Hertzler, Xenia, IL, Daniel, married to Esther Risser, Lebanon, PA, Marlin, married to Elva Huber, Milton, PA; two sisters, Arlene, married to Warren Shenk, Mount Joy, and Dorothy, married to Daniel Boll, Unity, Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Lisa, still born daughter Esther Ruth and siblings Rachel, Clarence & Lester.
Funeral services were held in Florida, October 23, 2004 with interment in the Pensacola Mennonite cemetery, Pensacola, FL.

Ebersole, John L., 83, of Shippensburg, PA, died Aug. 27, 2004, at Chambersburg (Pa.) Hospital. Born May 1, 1921, in Franklin Co., Pa., to Samuel H. and Susan Kuhns Ebersole. He was a member of Culbertson Mennonite Church Green Village, PA.
Survived by his wife, Ruth M. Horst Ebersole; three daughters, Esther M. Wadel of St. Thomas, Pa., Ellen M. Wadel of Flat Gap, Ky., and Naomi K. Hertzler of Shirleysburg, Pa.; five sons, Marlin E. Ebersole of Chambersburg, J. Lester Ebersole of Myerstown, Pa., Nathan K. Ebersole of Shippensburg, Wilmer L. Ebersole of Bellingham, Mass., and Keith D. Funeral service was September 1, 2013 at Culbertson Mennonite Church, Green Village, PA. officiated by Brothers Lynn Martin, Wayne Shank, LaRay Martin and Loren Martin. Burial was in Diller Mennonite Church Cemetery, Newville, PA.

Eby, Fannie Helen Martin, 87, of Carlisle, PA died June 22, 2004, in her home. She was born May 11, 1917, in Maugansville, Md., to Andrew H. and Fannie E. (Hege) Martin.
She was the widow of Theodore H. Eby, who died Dec. 7, 1988. Mrs. Eby was a member of the Mountain View Mennonite Church in Carlisle, PA
Survivors include a son, Lawrence E. Eby of Cabins, W.Va.; four daughters, Hazel V. Williams of Waynesboro and Rosalie F. Eby, Ferne L. Eby and Janet M. Eby, all of Carlisle; seven grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Eva L. Eby, and a brother, Chester H. Martin.
Services were June 24, 2004 in Mountain View Mennonite Church Carlisle, with the Mountain View Ministry officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

17, 2004, in Waynesboro, Pa., he was the son of Ardell R. and
Pauline V. Horst Eby of Chambersburg.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Janelle
F. Eby and Brenda S. Eby, both at home; one brother, Curtis L. Eby, at
home; paternal grandparents, Aldus R. and Anna L. Eby of Chambersburg;
paternal great-grandmother, Grace Eby of Hagerstown; maternal
grandparents, Richard
D. and Anna M. Horst of Hagerstown; maternal great-grandfather, Daniel
Horst of Hagerstown; maternal great-grandparents, Amos and Pauline
Rudolph of Lebanon, Pa.; aunts and uncles.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Waynecastle Mennonite
Church, Waynesboro. The Waynecastle Mennonite Church Ministry
will
officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday from 1 to 3
p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday ay 9 a.m.

Eby, Ira E; 92; Harrisonburg VA; Hagerstown

Ira E. Eby, 92, formerly of Hagerstown, Md., and Shank Drive,
Harrisonburg, Va., died Friday, Sept. 3, 2004, at Oak Lea Nursing Home
of
Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community in Harrisonburg.
Mr. Eby was born Aug. 1, 1912, west of Hagerstown, and was the son of
the late Christian R. and Fannie Ebersole Eby. He grew up on the
farm and at the age of 20 went to barber school in Baltimore. In
1933, he opened
a barber shop in Maugansville, Md., and continued in the barber
business until he retired in December 1978 in Harrisonburg.
On June 3, 1936, he married Helen V. Strite, who preceded him in
death on July 9, 1959. On Dec. 18, 1963, he married Mary Emma
Showalter, author of the Mennonite Community Cookbook, and moved with
his family to Harrisonburg. She died May 3, 2003.
Mr. Eby was a member of Trissels Mennonite Church, where he served
as deacon for a number of years. He also served as a visitor with
the Blue
Ridge Multiple Sclerosis Chapter for more than a decade. He was
an avid photographer and often received invitations to present programs
of his
nature slides.
Mr. Eby is survived by three children and their spouses, Eleanor and
David Mumma of Harrisonburg, Phyllis and Nelson Showalter of Broadway,
Va., and Robert Eby and Gwen Stamm of Scottsdale, Pa.; two
granddaughters and their spouses, Marcia and Jeffrey Rittenhouse of
Elizabethtown, Pa., and Lisa and Jerry Hertzler of Harrisonburg; and
five great-grandchildren, Rebekah and Luke Hertzler, and Lydia,
Benjamin and Daniel Rittenhouse.
Mr. Eby was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
A graveside service will be held at the Reiffs Mennonite Church
Cemetery in Hagerstown on Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004, at 2 p.m.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2004, at 2 p.m. at
Trissels Mennonite Church in Broadway, Va. The family will
receive
friends following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to
Trissels Mennonite Church, P.O. Box 549, Broadway, VA 22815.
