Preceded in death by a granddaughter, Glenda J. Bauman; brothers,

Lillie Hostetter, Anna Prikel, Helen McMichael.
She was a member of New Danville Mennonite Church where she taught
Sunday School.
Services: Graveside services at New Danville Mennonite Cem., New
Danville, Pa. on Saturday, 10-16-2004, from 1:00 till 2:00 pm with Rev.
Curtis L. Kanagy, Bishop Ernest M. Hess, and Rev. Jay C. Garber
officiating.

Newkirk, Winifred I. Smith, 78, of Milroy PA, died Jan. 29, 2004, at the William Penn Nursing Home, Lewistown, PA. Born Jan. 26, 1926, in Johnstown, PA to George Wilford and Blanche (Evans) Smith. She was a member of the Mountain View Mennonite Chapel, Reedsville.
Surviving are three sisters; two brothers; children Janet E. Lipartia, Everett R. Newkirk, Jr., Bruce W. Newkirk, Beverly E. Ditzler and Lori J. Coates; and a granddaughter, Jennifer L. Kraynak.
Funeral services were Feb 02, 2004 at the Mountain View Mennonite Chapel, Reedsville with the Rev. Lester Diller officiating. Interment will be held in the Church Hill Cemetery, Reedsville.

Miss Nissley was a member of Kauffman Mennonite Church, Manheim, Pa.
She was a 50 year worker for Sico Oil Co. office.

- Harold M. Nofziger, 87, of Archbold, died Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 12,
2004,
at his home.
Born
Nov. 21, 1916, at Stuttgart,
Ark., to Mattie (Sommers)
and
Harvey Nofziger, he married Mattie Miller on March 19, 1950, and she
survives.
A
resident of the Wauseon area for 60 years before moving to Archbold in
2000, he
was a farmer. Since his retirement, he worked at the Fulton County Dog
Pound
for 14 years.
A
volunteer for the Wauseon FISH program, he was a charter member of the Tedrow Mennonite Church
where he had
served as an Elder, Sunday school superintendent and teacher for many
years. In
addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, James (and wife,
Teresa)
Nofziger of Pettisville and John (Kathy) Nofziger of Wauseon; five
daughters,
Mrs. Daniel (Brenda) Sensenig, Mrs. J. Mark (Karen) Beck and Mrs. Steve
(Rachel) Sauder, all of Archbold, Mrs. Ron (Jeanne) Sears of Otis, Ore.
and
Mrs. Roger (Mary) Kennell of Roanoke, Ill.; 24 grandchildren; four
great-grandchildren; and a sister, Pauline Coon of Archbold.
Preceding
him in death were his parents, two granddaughters, and a brother,
Kenneth
Nofziger.
Visitation
will be held Friday from 2-8 p.m. in the Short Funeral Home in
Archbold.
Memorial
services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Tedrow Mennonite
Church with Pastor
Randy
Nafziger to officiate. Interment will precede in the Pettisville Cemetery.
In
leu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family's choice.

Myrl E. Nofziger
(1924 - 2004)
ARCHBOLD - Myrl E. Nofziger, 79, of Archbold, died Saturday
morning, April 10, 2004, at his home, following a brief illness.
Born Sept. 17, 1924, near Archbold, to Viola (Lugbill) and
Myron Nofziger, he married Donabell Lederman on June 5, 1949.
A lifelong resident of the Archbold area, he farmed and
raised livestock.
He was a charter member of the Zion Mennonite
Church in Archbold.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three sons, M.
Daniel (and wife, Debra) Nofziger, Neil (Kathy) Nofziger and Wendell
Nofziger,
all of Archbold; a daughter, Mrs. Gary (Maretta) Conrad of Wayland,
Iowa; eight
grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Otto (Louetta) Warkentin of Fort
Wayne, Ind.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister,
Dorothy Nofziger.
Visitation will be held today from 3-9 p.m. in the Zion Mennonite
Church fellowship
hall.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the
church with Pastors Ron Guengerich and Anne Stuckey to officiate.
Interment
will precede in the Pettisville
Cemetery. Short
Funeral
Home in Archbold is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of
Williams and Fulton Counties,
Mennonite Central Committee, or the Zion Mennonite
Church.

Noll, Elsie Wagner, 89, formerly of Stevens, Lancaster County, PA, died January 26, 2004 Monday afternoon in Fairmount Homes, Inc., Farmersville, Lancaster Co., where she resided since April 1999. She was born November 17, 1914 to George N. and Maria (Latshaw) Wagner. Her husband, Elvin Noll, died November 13, 1991.
Survived by a son, E. Roger, married to Audrey A. (Haldeman) Noll, Reamstown, PA.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, George Wagner, and a sister, Grace (Wagner) Wingenroth.
A graveside service was January 29, 2004, at the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Adamstown, Lancaster County, PA, with The Reverend Stephen E. Hollinger officiating.

Pearson, Leah Jean Rock, 78, a resident of the Village of Laurel Run, formerly of 387 W. Main St., Fayetteville, PA, died Dec. 5, 2004. She was born Oct. 22, 1926, in Chambersburg, Pa., to Frederick J. Sr. and Mary L. Shaffer Rock. Her husband, Arthur B. Pearson, whom she married March 3, 1957, died May 21, 2003. She was a member of Pond Bank Mennonite Church in Fayetteville, PA and a former member of Chambersburg Bible Church. She taught Sunday school in the primary departments of both churches.
She is survived by two daughters, Jo Ellen A. Taylor of Moab, Utah, and Jacquelyn A. Green of Fayetteville; one son, Jeffrey A. Pearson of Chambersburg; one foster sister, Katie S. Snyder of Chambersburg; one foster brother, David Shaffer II of Colorado; seven grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur and one sister, Lucille Rock, and two brothers, Web Rock and Frederick Rock II.
Services were Dec 09, 2004 at Pond Bank Mennonite Church in Chambersburg. PA. Pastor Marlin E. Ebersole will officiate. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery near Quincy, Pa.

Petersheim, Betty Lou Wingard, 71, of East Earl, PA, died March 15, 2004 at Landis Homes Lititz, PA. Born in Johnstown, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Katie Blough Wingard. She was married 50 years on November 21st to Leroy K. Petersheim. She was a registered nurse, graduated from the Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital in Johnstown in 1953. She and her husband lived in Tanzania, East Africa as fraternal workers with the Eastern Mennonite Board of Missions along with their family from 1960 - 1970. She was a member of the Forest Hills Mennonite Church and Adelphian Sunday School class. Also she served as an elder.
Surviving in addition to her husband is a son, Jon Robert, married to Susan Parker Petersheim of Lancaster; two daughters, Beth Ann, married to Linford Good of Mount Joy, and Anna Ruth, married to Edward Gawlinski of Horsham, PA; five grandchildren; a sister, Grace, married to Paul Yoder Sr. of Harrisonburg, VA; and a brother, Carl, married to Jean Mishler Wingard of Morgantown, PA
Preceding her in death is a sister, Ethel Weaver; and two brothers, Glenn and Freeman Wingard.
A memorial service was March 20, 2004 at Forest Hills Mennonite Church, Leola, PA with the Reverend Calvin Yoder and the Reverend Robert L. Petersheim officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
