Champagne, Claudia Eulalie Bergeron,
84, of Des Allemands, LA died July 7, 2007  at Metairie, Jefferson Parish, LA of pneumonia.  She was born April 14, 1923 at Paradis, St.Charles Parish, LA to Adam Abel Bergeron (11/19/ 1887-03/11/1968) and Lize Stephanie Griffin Bergeron (07/06/1891-11/03/1949). 

On September 7 1940 in Taft, St.Charles Parish, LA she was married to Clarence Joseph Champagne who was born July 14, 1916 and died October 22, 2000.

Surviving are a daughter, Shirley Leblanc & husband Marvin, one grandchild, three great-grandchildren, and a sister, Josephine (Lolly) Arceneaux.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Enite Monier, Alex Bergeron,Leonise LeBlanc, Leona Hymel, Clothile Arceneaux, Felix Bergeron, Lucille Zeringue, Lucien Bergeron, and Percy Bergeron.

Memorial services were held July 12, 2007 at Des Allemands Mennonite Church, Des Allemands, St.Charles Parish,  LA with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

She was a member of Mennonite Church USA.

Chaple, Maria M. Ayala
, 81, of Hesston, KS died March 12, 2007 at Rose Hill, KS from natural causes. She was born March 9, 1926 at Havana, Cuba to Mario and Mercedes Ayala.  On August 12, 1944 she was married to Alberto Chaple, who is deceased.

Surviving are Daughter-in-law, Jeanne Chaple, and one grandchild.

Also surviving is a brother, Mario Ayala.  She was preceded in death by two children, John and Rene.

Memorial services were held March 16, 2007 at Miller Funeral Home, Hesston, KS.

She was a member of Mennonite Church USA.

Chupp Elvin L., 69;
of Arthur died Friday, May 20, 2007.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at the Marlin Plank residence in rural Arthur. Visitation was held prior to the funeral at the residence. Burial was in Yoder Cemetery. Edwards Funeral Home, Arthur, was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Chupp is survived by his wife, Anna J.; five sons, Eldon, Olen, Danny, Lewi, and Melvin Chupp, all of Arthur; three daughters, Carolyn Gingerich and Mary Ellen Kaufman, both of Arthur, and Esther Kaufman of Tuscola; three brothers, Floyd Chupp of Lovington, Melvin Chupp of Arcola, and Harvey Chupp of Arthur; two sisters, Martha Otto of Humboldt and Lydia Palmer of Arthur; 22 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother, and one sister.

Mr. Chupp was a Salvage Store employee. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Faith.

Chupp, Julia Rose

April 12, 1999 - Nov. 21, 2007

ETNA GREEN, Ind. -- Julia Rose Chupp, 8, of 8200 W., 640 N., died at 10:48 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 21, 2007) at Fort Wayne Lutheran Hospital of natural causes.

Friends may call all day today and Saturday at the home of her parents, Merle and Carolyn (Mast) Chupp, 8200 W., 640 N. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at the Duane Schwartz residence, 6787 N., 880 W., Etna Green, with Bishop Walter Schwartz of the Old Order Amish Church and home ministers officiating. Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, 950 N. Main St., Nappanee, is handling arrangements.

Julia was born April 12, 1999, in Warsaw. Along with her parents, survivors include three sisters, Susan, Laura and Doris Chupp, at home; two brothers, Steven and Darrin Chupp, at home; and grandarents Marvin and Sylvia (Schmucker) Mast and Levi and Mary (Yoder) Chupp, all of Etna Green. She was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Sue Chupp.

Claassen, Gertrude
, 95, of Beatrice, NE died September 2, 2007 at Parkview Center, Beatrice, NE.  She was born March 4, 1912 near Beatrice, NE to Jacob Peter and Helen (Goossen) Claassen.  She was left motherless on March 15, 1912 when she was only 11 days old.  The following year her father married, Margarete Goossen.

Brothers, Fred, Robert, and Arnold Claassen, sister Margaret (Claassen) Hamm, brother-in-law John Hamm, and sister-in-law Anna Margret Claassen preceded him/her in death.

Gertrude was a faithful Mennonite her entire life, supporting the church, especially it's missionaries. She worked at the Mennonite Deaconess Hospital for many years. Although Gertrude never married, her local family was important to her, cooking many Sunday meals, and caring for all those around her.

Memorial services were held September 5, 2007 at First Mennonite Church, Beatrice, Nebraska with burial in the Mennonite Cemetery, Beatrice, Nebraska.

, 97, of Lansdale, PA died July 23, 2007 at Lansdale, Montgomery Co., PA. She was born January 27 1910 in Franconia Twp., Montgomery Co., PA.  She was married to H. Floyd A. Clemens, who is deceased.

Surviving are children, Walter (& Mary) Clemens; Ada (& Edwin B.) Allen; Floyd (& Gladys) Clemens; Mary Martin; Arlene (& Jon) Clemens; Paul (& Brooke) Clemens; and
19 grandchildren.

Memorial services were held July 29, 2007 at Salford Mennonite Church Harleysville, Montgomery Co., PA with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

, 95, of Souderton, PA died April 6, 2007 at Souderton, PA.  He was born April 8, 1911 at Lederach, PA to George A. and Susie B. Clemens.  He was married to Eva H. Kulp, who is deceased.

Surviving are children, Harold K., Clyde K., five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Memorial services were held April 14, 2007 at Souderton Mennonite Homes, Souderton, PA  with burial in the Salford Mennonite Church cemetery.

, 18, of Kalona, IA died September 20, 2007. She was born September 6, 1989 in Iowa City, IA to Andrew and Denise Butterbaugh Coppes. She was currently a senior at Mid-Prairie High School in Wellman, IA.
 
Survivied by her mother and step-father, Denise and Ben Culbertson of Kalona, IA; father, Andrew Coppes of Yarmouth, IA, one brother Miles Coppes, of Kalona, IA; three half brothers, Ryan Coppes of Davenport, IA,Rodney and Anthony Culbertson of Kalona, IA; maternal grandparents, Beverly and Alvin Mast of Kalona, IA; Wes Butterbaugh of Denver, CO, and paternal grandmother, Doris Coppes of Yarmouth, IA, and maternal step grandparents, Bruce and Theresa Brandenburg of Dyserville, IA.
 
Preceding Haley in death was an infant sister, Amanda Butterbaugh, paternal grandfather, Milo Coppes and maternal and paternal great grandparents.
Celebration of Life sevice was September 24, 2007 at Kalona Mennonite Church Kalona, IA. Interment was in Sharon Hill Cemetery Kalona, Iowa

Dare, Marguerite Hazel Roth
, 86, of Wayland, Iowa died March 13, 2007 at Washington, Washington Co., Iowa from a stroke. She was born November 19, 1920 in Washington County, Iowa to Chris and Emma (Reschly) Roth.  On March 12, 1960 she was married to John Dare , who is deceased.

Surviving are stepchildren, John Jacobsen, Kathy Anderson, Virginia Ross, 11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Also surviving is a sister, Ethel Widmer.  She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mabel Conrad and Edith Roth.

Memorial services were held March 17, 2007 at Bethel Mennonite Church,  Wayland, Washington Co., Iowa with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Dean, Beth Anne Beisel
, 45, of Elkton, VA died August 12, 2007 at Harrisonburg, Rockingham Co., VA from cancer.  She was born May 19, 1962 at Johnstown, Cambria Co., PA to Leroy Clair and  Mary Jane (Fronzoli) Beisel.  Her father was born on March 7, 1940 and her mother on February 14, 1939.  They both survive.

On February 18, 2003 at Harrisonburg. VA she was married to Donald Ray Dean who was born May 31, 1959 and survives.

Surviving are stepchildren, Heaven Leigh Dean and Patrick Dean and two brothers, Brian Clair Beisel married to Sheri Markel Beisel, and Brent Roy Beisel.  An infant brother, Brent C. Beisel preceded her in death.

Beth was a member of Redeeming Love Fellowship in Shenandoah Va.  She loved to sing and also enjoyed working with children.

Memorial services were held August 15, 2007 at Kaufman Mennonite Church, Davidsville, Somerset Co., PA with burial in Thomas Mennonite Cemetery, Thomas Mills, Somerset Co., PA.

Derksen, Jacob Walter
, 86, of Butterfield, Watonwan Co., MN died May 18, 2007 at Mountain Lake, Cottonwood Co., MN from congestive heart failure. 

He was born April 18, 1921 near Butterfield, in Watonwan County, MN to Jacob J. and Anna R. (Steinle ) Derksen. Jacob was born 04/21/1892 and died 04/24/1976. Anna was born 03/20/1901 and died 08/12/1986.

Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Anna Smit of Mountain Lake MN; Frank Derksen of Blaine MN; David Derksen of New Ulm MN; and Peter (Patricia) Derksen of Sacramento CA.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Derksen and a brother, William Derksen.

Memorial services were held May 23, 2007 at First Mennonite Church, Mountain Lake, Cottonwood Co., MN with burial in the Mountain Lake Cemetery, Mountain Lake, MN.

Derstine, Marvin G.
, 89, of Souderton, PA died March 20, 2007 at Harleysville, PA.  He was born May 4, 1917 at Telford, PA  to Herbert A. and Lillian (Godshall) Derstine.  On May 4, 1938 he was married to Pauline G. Moyer, who survives.

Surviving are children, Patricia A. Halteman, Paul M. Derstine, Roy M. Derstine, Dale M. Derstine, Betty L. Kulp, Nancy R. Moyer, 17 grandchildren, and 40 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Grace Landis and husband Abram, and Margaret Derstine.

Detweiler, Ernest S.
, 72, of Blooming Glen, PA died July 13, 2007 at Blooming Glen, Bucks County, PA of cancer.  He was born January 28, 1935 in Bedminster Twp, Bucks County, PA to Harvey and Anna (Stover) Detweiler.  He was married to Mabel H. Histand, who died June 19, 1999.

Surviving are children, E.Ray Detweiler and his wife, Kelly S. of Perkasie; Loren W. Detweiler and his wife, Tanya D. of Schwenksville, and five grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Blanche Bechtel and her husband, Clifford, of Harleysville; Bertha Rush and her husband Nelson, of Hatfield; three brothers, Allen Detweiler and his wife, Jean, of Sellersville; Robert Detweiler of Woodbury; PA and Donald Detweiler and his wife, Jean, of Harleysville.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Styer.

Dick, Elizabeth Epp
, 93, of Mountain Lake, Cottonwood Co., MN died February 20, 2007 at Windom, Cottonwood Co., MN.  She was born November 14, 1913 at Delft, Cottonwood Co., MN to Daniel and Anna (Ewert) Epp.  On August 23, 1936 she was married to Bernhard “Ben” P. Dick, who is deceased.

Surviving are children, Kathleen (Jim) Martens, Charles (Diane) Dick, Richard (Linda) Dick, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her siblings: Sue Kliewer, Clara Paulsen, Dan Epp, Albert Epp, Sammy Epp, Henry Epp, Reuben Epp, and Erika Gunderson

Diller, Allen S.
, 89, of Hesston, KS died May 30, 2007 at Hesston, Harvey Co.,, KS.  He was born April 21, 1918 at Cheraw, CO to Jacob and Grace (Cooprider) Diller.  On May 11, 1941 he was married to Pauline Jantz, who died January 14, 2001.

Surviving are children, Jim (Jan) Diller, Vicki (Phil)Hoffman, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Robert (Marcella) Diller, Ivan (Doris) Diller, Lois Diller Hershberger, and Eugene (Donna) Diller.  He was preceded in death by a brother, John (Emily) Diller.

, 91, of LaGrange, IN died April 26, 2007 at Goshen, IN of natural causes.  He was born July 17, 1915 at LaGrange, IN to George and Edna Pearl (Yoder) Dintaman.  On April 4, 1939 he was married to Salina Christner, who is deceased.

Surviving are children, Phyllis Stutzman, Carol Birky, Pamela Dintaman, Phil, Carl P., Stephen 14 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Mishler, Esther Dintaman.

Dueck, Ronald James
, 61, of Goshen, Indiana died July 11, 2007 at Goshen, Indiana of cancer.  He was born July 4, 1946 at Rosthern, Saskatchewan to Arthur and Alice Roth Dueck.  On August 2, 1969 at Pretty Prairie, Kansas he was married to Deloris “Dee” Schwartz, who was born on April 10, 1948 and survives.

Also surviving are his mother, children, Jocelyn (Curt) Powell, Joel Dueck, and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Trudy Wiebe and a brother, Gary Dueck.

Memorial services were held July 14, 2007 at College Mennonite Church, Goshen, Indiana.

Most recently he was employed by Mennonite Mutual Aid as a vice president of group
business development.  His previous employment was at Prairie View Psychiatric Hospital, Newton, Kansas; was in life insurance sales; and was a nursing home administrator.

Ronald J. Dueck
July 4, 1946-July 11, 2007

Ronald James Dueck, 61, 2109-B Cambridge Drive, Goshen, died Wednesday at 3:42 p.m. at Goshen General Hospital. He had been ill since June 15.

He was born on July 4, 1946 in Rosthern, Saskatche-wan, Canada, to Arthur W. Dueck and Alice (Roth) Dyck.

On August 2, 1969, he married Deloris Schwartz in Pretty Prairie, Kan. She survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Jocelyn (Curt) Powell, Tulsa, Okla.; and a son, Joel Dueck, Goshen; two grandchildren, Cassie and Clay Powell; and his mother Alice (Roth) Dyck, Rosthern, SK, Canada

He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Trudy Wiebe; and a brother, Gary Dueck.

He had lived the last 16 years in Goshen and was vice president of Group Business Development for Mennonite Mutual Aid, Goshen. He was a member of College Mennonite Church.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Koinonia Room at College Mennonite Church.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Fellowship Hall at the church, where Rev. Firman Gingerich of College Mennonite Church and Rev. Neil Amstutz of Waterford Mennonite Church will lead the service.

Memorials may be made to Mennonite Mutual Aid Sharing Fund or United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.

Eash, E. Lorene Nofziger
, 86, of Archbold, OH died October 1, 2007 at Archbold, Fulton Co., OH. She was born March 10, 1921 at Archbold, Fulton Co., OH to Harley and Fannie (Aeschliman) Nofziger.  She was married to Elon Eash, who survives.

Surviving are children, William (Esther) Eash; Neal (Lori) Eash; Marybeth (Greg) Watterson, nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

 A son, Phillip Jay preceded him/her in death.

Memorial services were held October 7, 2007 at Lockport Mennonite Church, Stryker, Williams Co., OH.

Eash, Fannie Kauffman
, 90, of Middlebury, Indiana died December 7, 2007 at Goshen, Indiana.  She was born January 11, 1917 at Mio, Michigan to David D. and Katie (Jantzi) Kauffman.  David was born April 27, 1870 and died March 19, 1949. Katie was born February 12, 1889 and died April 26, 1958.

On January 1, 1938 at Middlebury, Indiana she was married to Joe Eash, who was born May 14, 1913 and died January 8, 1994.

Surviving are children, Fern (John) Knepp, Orlan (Sara) Eash, Olen (Ella) Eash, Elwin (Ruth) Eash, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 4 step great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are a sister, Adeline (Sam) Graber, and a brother, Alvin (Mary) Kauffman.

Her siblings, Mayme Riegsecker, Barbara Frye, Maudie Graber, Louis Kauffman, Floyd Kauffman, Henry Kauffman and infant David Kauffman preceded her in death.

Fannie was a homemaker and had worked at Wanberg Popcorn, Middlebury, Yoder Popcorn, Topeka, and Varns and Hoover Hardware, Middlebury. She was a member of First Mennonite Church, Middlebury, where she was very active serving on several committees, sewing circles, and taught Sunday school. She and her husband did volunteer service work for nine years for the Mennonite Board of Missions in Elkhart as hosts for the mission hostel, and they also served one year in 1985 at Glencroft in Arizona.

Memorial services were held December 10, 2007 at First Mennonite Church,  Middlebury,  Indiana with burial in Miller Cemetery,  Goshen, Indiana.

Egli, Thelma Susan Wenger
, 89, of Hesston, Kansas (lived in Denver, CO 1943-2002) died December 21, 2007 at Hesston, Harvard Co., KS.  She was born October 3, 1918 at Canton, Kansas to Jonas and Anna (Loucks) Wenger.  

On May 9, 1943 at Denver, Colorado she was married to Donald Earl Egli, who was born February 16, 1919 and died March 11, 1997. Thelma and Don were founding members of First Mennonite Church of Denver and were the first couple to be married at the church.

Surviving are children, LaDonna Faye Gaeddert (husband-John); Meredith Ann Egli; Judy Lynne Yoder (husband-Fred); 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and a sister, Bertha Miller.

Four brothers, Russell Wenger, Norman Wenger, John Wenger, Marvin Wenger, and a sister, Grace Zook preceded her in death.

Thelma was 18 when her mother died from complications due to burns from their house fire. As the oldest daughter, this left Thelma with a lot of responsibility.  Thelma enjoyed photography, flower arranging, woodcrafts, cloud and bird watching.

Memorial services were held December 30, 2007 at First Mennonite Church, Denver, Denver Co., CO with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery, Lakewood, Colorado.

Eitzen, Ruth Carper


LITITZ, PA – Ruth Carper Eitzen died on 11 April 2007 of complications related to treatment of a benign brain tumor.

Ruth was born on 20 July 1924 to Eva Weber Carper and Reuben Carper in Brickerville, Pennsylvania. At 17 she moved with her family to Denbigh, Virginia. She attended Eastern Mennonite College, in Virginia, and graduated in 1948 from Goshen College, in Indiana. From 1950 to 1954, she worked with Mennonite Central Committee in Europe, designing educational materials for children. She married illustrator Allan Eitzen on 12 July 1954, in Denbigh, Virginia. Ruth and Allan moved to a country home in Barto, Pennsylvania, and had five children. After the children left home, Ruth continued her education at Temple University, where she earned a Master’s degree in creative writing.

Ruth is the author of several books for children including Ti Jacques (1972), White Feather (1987), and Tara’s Flight (forthcoming, Boyds Mills Press). She spent her last years working on a novel and tending to her gardens of native flowers and plants. She also devoted herself to organizing American sponsorship of the Sahara Children’s Home in Nepal, which she had visited and worked with as an educational consultant. Ruth had a profound concern for social justice and was an active participant in church and peace groups.  Her gift for emotional intimacy was enjoyed by many friends.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Allan; five children—Hilda, Dirk, Ann, Laura, and John; and eight grandchildren.

The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday 28 April, at Bally Mennonite Church, 1481 Route 100, Bally, Pennsylvania.  Visitation will begin at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sahara Children’s Home, c/o Bally Mennonite Church, PO Box 194, Bally, PA  19503.

Epp, Katherine Hiebner
, 94, of Henderson, NE died February 2, 2007.  She was born to Gerhard and Aganatha Epp (Friesen) Hiebner.  She was married to Herman J. Epp, who is deceased.

Surviving are children, Myron (JoAnn) Epp,Elvera Epp, Shirley (Dennis) Ries, and  14 grandchildren.

Memorial services were held February 7, 2007 at Bethesda Mennonite Church, Henderson, NE.

Epp, Paul F.
, 91, of Newton, Kansas died February 9, 2007 at Newton, KS from pneumonia.  He was born May 20, 1915 in Marion Co., KS to Gerard and Cornelia (Friesen) Epp.  On November 9, 1939 he was married to Ruth Schmidt, who survives.

Surviving are children, Verda Deckert, Weldon Epp, five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joycelyn Epp; brothers, Jacob Epp, and Edwin Epp; and sisters, Sara Plenert, and Cornelia Nickel.

Memorial services were held February 13, 2007 at Tabor Mennonite Church, Newton, KS with burial in Haven of Rest, Hillsboro, KS.

Engbrecht, Henry Junior
, 78, of Marion, SD died December 6, 2007 at Sioux Falls, SD from a heart attack.  He was born May 22, 1929 at Marion, SD to the late Henry and Helen (Moeller) Engbrecht.  On December 30, 1955 at Marion, SD he was married to Nita Huber.

Surviving are a sister, Mary (Martin) Thomas and a brother, Paul (Darlene) Engbrecht.
 
 A sister, Pauline Pugh, preceded him in death.

Memorial services were held December 10, 2007 at Salem-Zion Mennonite Church, Freeman, SD with burial in Schartner Cemetery, Marion, SD.

, 93, of Newton, KS died April 14, 2007. She was born February 24, 1914 in Harvey County, KS to Henry J. and Sara (Schroeder) Schmidt.  On November 9, 1939 she was married to Paul F. Epp, who is deceased.

, 43, of Harrisonburg, VA died unexpectedly May 17, 2007 at Harrisonburg, VA.  He was born August 28, 1963 at Richmond, VA to J. Robert and Rosalie (Hartman) Eshleman.  On August 22, 1998 he was married to Reagan Boshart.

Surviving are his wife, parents and children, Nicholas Alan Boshart, Sarah Eileen Boshart, and Gabriel Robert Eshleman.

Memorial services were held May 21, 2007 at EMU Lehman Auditorium, Harrisonburg, VA with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisonburg, VA.

, 17, of Plain City, OH died March 4, 2007 in an automobile accident.  She was born August 5, 1989 at Columbus, Ohio to Leonard and Theresa (Casey) Fauver who survive.

Also surviving: Chelsea Fauver - sister and Wesley Fauver – brother.

Fellenbaum, Robert H.
, 88, of Lancaster, PA died February 20, 2007 at Lancaster, PA from natural causes.  He was born September 25, 1918 in Lancaster County, PA to Clyde and Edna (Hilton, d. 1975) Fellenbaum.  On October 16, 1937 he was married to Miriam P. Keagy, who is deceased.

Surviving are children, Robert E. Fellenbaum & May; Donald H. Fellenbaum & Kathleen; L. Kenneth Fellenbaum & Debra; Patricia Daveler 11 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving brothers and sisters: Clyde Fellenbaum, Fred Fellenbaum, Daniel Fellenbaun, Marlin Fellenbaum, Evelyn Good, and Alta Correll.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Glenn Fellenbaum and James Fellenbaum, and sisters, Grace Sands and E. Blanche Bauman.

Memorial services were held February 24, 2007 at Masonville Mennonite Church, Washington Boro, PA with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

, 91, of Reedley, CA died January 20, 2007 at Reedley, CA.  He was born October 7, 1915 at Canton, KS to Henry and Agnes Flaming.  On September 8, 1938 he was married to Hilda Brandt, who is deceased.

Surviving are children, Gracie Rogalsky, Reedley, CA; Jerry and wife Nancy Flaming, Reedley, CA; Barbara Flaming, New York; Stan and wife Betty Flaming, Reedley, CA,
nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Frederick, Jacob W.
, 83, of Lititz, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania died May 28, 2007 at Marina, California.  He was born July 29, 1923 at Harleysville, Pennsylvania to N. Clayton and Martha (Metz) Frederick. He was married to Anna Horst, who survives.

Surviving are children, J. Ray Frederick & wife Mary Ellen, Jacob W. Frederick & wife Christine, Carl T. Frederick & wife Carolyn, Mariann T. Martin & husband Jay, Philip L. Frederick & wife Carolyn, Naomi K. Frederick Ruth & husband Craig, 12 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are siblings: David F. Frederick & wife Rosalie, Rebecca F. Frederick, and Sara Frederick (sister-in-Law).  He was preceded in death by six brothers, Russell, George, Mark, Clayton, Isaac, Paul Frederick, and two sisters, Anna Steinhauer and infant Martha
Catherine Frederick.
   
Memorial services were held June 5, 2007 at Lititz Mennonite Church Lititz, Pennsylvania with burial in the Hess Mennonite Church Cemetery, Lititz, Pennsylvania.

, 81, of Lansdale, PA died January 17, 2007.  He was born to Sylvanus and Margaret (Hauck) Freed.  He was married to Cecelia Interrante, who survives.

two grandchildren.

, 92, of Souderton, PA died January 2, 2007 at Souderton, PA.  She was born June 22, 1914 to William D. and Hannah M. (Yoder) Fretz.

Surviving is a sister-in-law, Sarah Jeane Fretz.  She was preceded in death by brpthers, Jacob Fretz, Clyde Fretz, Clarence Fretz, three infant brothers, and one infant sister.

Memorial services were held January 6, 2007 at Souderton Mennonite Homes, Souderton, PA with burial in Blooming Glen Mennonite Cemetery,  Blooming Glen, PA.

Frey, Mattie Helmuth
, 82, of Goshen, Indiana died January 2, 2007 at Goshen, Elkhart County, Indiana.  She was born August 12, 1924 at Topeka, LaGrange Co, Indiana to Isaac and Lydia Anne (Miller) Helmuth.  On August 18, 1940 she was married to Harvey S. Chupp. They were divorced. He died January 1, 1961. She married Irvin Frey on December 31, 1954. He died in 1985.

Surviving are children, Edwin H. (Roxanne)Chupp, New Paris, IN; Richard Allen (Wanda) Chupp, Millersburg, IN; Donald Ray (Rae Anne) Chupp, South Bend, IN; Dorothy Ellen (Quinter) Reed, New Paris, IN; Ruby Darlene (Gene) Duvall, Forty Wayne, IN; Caroline Elaine (Greg) Crowel, Edwardsburg, MI; Edna Marie (Rollin)Brenneman, Kalona, IA; 26 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Also surviving are two brothers: Reuben (Edna) Helmuth, LaGrange IN and Melvin (Elsie) Helmuth, Vista, CA.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Erma Louise who died March 4, 1943, two brothers, Jacob Helmuth, and  John Helmuth, and a sister, Bessie Miller.

Memorial services were held January 6, 2007 at Clinton Frame Mennonite Church, Goshen, Elkhart County, Indiana with burial in Shore Mennonite Church Cemetery, Shipshewana, LaGrange County, Indiana.

Frey, Raymond E.
, 81, of Goessel, KS died November 17, 2007 at Goessel, Marion Co., KS.  He was born October 23, 1926 at Newton, Harvey Co., KS to the late Edward H. and Augusta (Neufeld) Frey.  On May 19, 1949 at Tabor Mennonite Church, rural Newton, KS he was married to LuEtta Schmidt.

Surviving are children, Marcene and Thurman Entz, Melissa and James Beitler, Sherwin Frey and Debra Fischer, and five grandchildren.

Memorial services were held November 20, 2007 at Tabor Mennonite Church, Newton, KS with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Fritz, Linda M. Finefrock, 56, of Mount Joy, Lancaster Co., PA died September 6, 2007 at the same place from degenerative nerve disease. She was born April 22, 1951 at Oil City, PA to James V. and Martha J. (Powers) Finefrock. She was married in Lancaster Co., PA to Nik G. Fritz, who survives.

Also surviving are her mother, a son, Steven B. Thomas, a daughter, Anne M. Smeltzer, two grandchildren, a brother, James L. (Heidi) Finefrock, and a sister, Coral A. (Bill) Yeaglin.

Her father preceded her in death.

She was previously married to a Thomas.

Memorial services were held September 10, 2007 at Mount Joy Mennonite Church, Mount Joy, PA, with burial in Kraybill Mennonite Cemetery, Mount Joy, PA.

Fulmer, Kathryn Hunsberger
, 84, of Sellersville, PA died April 21, 2007 at Sellersville, PA.  She was born April 15, 1923 to Earl and Estelle (Detweiler) Hunsberger.  On September 2, 1944 she was married to Marvin D. Fulmer, who is deceased.

Surviving are children, Rose Allebach, Richard Fulmer, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Ann Fulmer, and brothers, Earl Hunsberger, Jr., Harold Hunsberger, and Willard Hunsberger.

Memorial services were held April 24, 2007 at Blooming Glen Mennonite Church, Blooming Glen, PA with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
