Eichler.- Fannie Mae, daughter of Harry and Elizabeth (Geistwhite) Musselman, was born at Florin, Pa., Feb. 17, 1885; died at Mt. Joy, Pa., July 21, 1972; aged 87 y. 5 m. 4 d. She was married to Grover S. Eichler, who preceded her in death in Jan. 1971. Surviving are 2 children (Virginia-Mrs. John J. Helmstaedter and Harry), 5 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Mount Joy Mennonite Church. Funeral services were held at the Nissley Funeral Home on July 24, in charge of Henry W. Frank; interment in Camp Hill Cemetery.

Flinner.- William, son of Conrad and Mary (Aeling) Flinner, was born at Walnut Creek, Ohio, May 26, 1875; died at Union Hospital, Dover, Ohio, July 25, 1972; aged 97 y. 1 m. 30 d. On Jan. 20, 1907, he was married to Jemima A. Hostetler, who preceded him in death Jan. 17, 1964. Surviving are 2 sons (Roy and Lawrence), one stepson (Paul Domer), 6 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 5 step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 6 brothers and one sister. He was a member of the Walnut Creek Mennonite Church. Funeral services were held at the Lingler Funeral Home, Sugarcreek, Ohio, July 28, in charge of Paul R. Miller; interment in Union Hill Cemetery.

Hartzler.- Sadie A., daughter of Peter J. and Mary Ann (Kurtz) Hartzler, was born at Weilersville, Ohio, Jan. 12, 1896; died at the Wayne General Hospital, Orrville, Ohio, Aug. 12, 1972; aged 76 y. 7 m. Surviving are one sister (Grace E.) and one brother (Melvin P.). She was a member of the Smithville Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 15, in charge of Carl J. Rudy; interment in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Smithville, Ohio.

Metzler.- Nettie, daughter of Henry and Hannah (Basinger) Metzler, was born near East Lewistown, Ohio, June 3, 1885; died at the Mary Fletcher Nursing Home, Salem, Ohio, Aug. 11, 1972; aged 87 y. 2 m. 8 d. Surviving is one sister (Mrs. Elmer Culler). She was a member of the Midway Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 13, in charge of Paul Yoder, assisted by Richard and John Bartholomew; interment in the Midway Cemetery.

Nice.- William K., son of Henry M. and Malinda (Keller) Nice, was born at Souderton, Pa., Mar. 11, 1892; died at Grand View Hospital, Sellersville, Pa., Aug. 14, 1972; aged 80 y. 5 m. 3 d. He was married to Mary Strohm, who preceded him in death in July 1969. Surviving are 6 sons (Russell S., Henry S., Richard S., William S., Raymond S., and Joseph S.), 4 daughters (Mrs. Mary Benner, Grace-Mrs. Samuel Frankenfield, Dolores-Mrs. Clyde Moyer, and Emma-Mrs. Abram Clemmer), 38 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, 5 sisters (Mrs. Lissie Reed, Mrs. Lillian Edwards, Mrs. Isaiah Mininger, Mrs. Katie Moyer, and Mrs. Charles Mininger), and one brother (Frank K. Nice). He was a member of the Souderton Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 18, in charge of Richard C. Detweiler and Russell B. Musselman; interment in the Souderton Mennonite Cemetery.

Reynolds.- Arlene Grace, daughter of Amon and Lydia (Gascho) Hershberger, was born near Milford, Neb., July 8, 1925; died at Corry Memorial Hospital, Aug. 12, 1972; aged 47 y. 1 m. 4 d. On Jan. 5, 1946, she was married to Cecil Reynolds, who survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters (Sheryl-Mrs. Donald Steider and Constance-Mrs. Lonnie Jantzi), 3 grandchildren, her mother, 2 sisters (Esther-Mrs. Irvin Ruth and Ruth-Mrs. Clayton Troyer), and 2 brothers (Clyde and Willard Hershberger). She was a member of the Beaverdam Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 15, in charge of Donald D. Nofziger; interment in Beaverdam Cemetery.

Slabach.- Evelyn, daughter of Oscar and Kathryn (Bontrager) Yoder, was born at Middlebury, Ind., Oct. 25, 1944; was instantly killed in an automobile accident near Wawaka, Ind., Aug. 6, 1972; aged 27 y. 9 m. 12 d. On Oct. 3, 1964, she was married to Owen Slabach. He was involved in the same accident and died four hours later. Surviving are four children (Douglas Dean, Scotland Jay, Bonita Sue, and Jeremy Lynn), her father and stepmother, 3 brothers (Irvin, Orvan, and Marvin), and one sister (Carolyn-Mrs. Stanley Miller). She was a member of the Clinton Frame Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 9, in charge of Vernon E. Bontreger; interment in Miller Cemetery.

Slabach.- Owen, son of Roman and Maymie (Yoder) Slabach, was born near Middlebury, Ind., May 24, 1940; died at Park View Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind., as a result of an automobile accident, Aug. 6, 1972; aged 32 y. 2 m. 13 d. On Oct. 3, 1964, he was married to Evelyn Minerva Yoder, who preceded him in death by four hours. Surviving are 4 children (Douglas Dean, Scotland Jay, Bonita Sue, and Jeremy Lynn), his parents, 3 sisters (Edna-Mrs. Moses Miller, Norma-Mrs. John Yoder, and Lydia Slabach), and a grandmother (Fannie M. Slabach). He was a member of the Clinton Frame Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 9, in charge of Vernon E. Bontreger; interment in Miller Cemetery.

Smoker.- Anne Elizabeth, daughter of Arthur E. and Nova Jean (Wingard) Smoker, was prematurely born at Mt. Pleasant, Pa., Aug. 13, 1972, and died two hours after birth. Surviving are maternal grandparents (Mr. and Mrs. Paul J. Wingard) and her paternal grandparents (Mr. and Mrs. Arthur E. Smoker, Sr.). Graveside services were held at the Scottdale Cemetery on Aug. 15, in charge of David Cressman. A memorial service was held at the Scottdale Mennonite Church Aug. 17, in charge of David Cressman and Gerald Studer.

Weaver.- Henry, son of Samuel H. and Elizabeth (Hershey) Weaver, was born at Waynesboro, Va., Jan. 6, 1890; died of a stroke at Harrisonburg, Va., Aug. 3, 1972; aged 82 y. 6 m. 29 d. On Jan. 15, 1925, he was married to Sallie Wenger, who survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters (Mrs. Justus Driver and Mrs. Morris Yoder) and 3 sons (Richard, Cleo, and Henry Weaver, Jr.). He was a member of the Lindale Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 5, in charge of Moses Slabaugh, D. W. Lehman, C. K. Lehman, and Ernest Gehman; interment in the Lindale Cemetery.

Groff.- Arlene, daughter of George Y. and Lottie C. (Althouse) Graham, was born in Lancaster Co., Pa., Mar. 29, 1915; died of a ruptured bowel, at Lancaster Osteopathic Hospital, Aug. 15, 1972; aged 57 y. 4 m. 16 d. On Oct. 2, 1935, she was married to John K. Groff, who preceded her in death, June 17, 1969. She is survived by her mother, 2 daughters (Leora-Mrs. Mervin L. Weaver and Madeline-Mrs. J. Wilbur Sollenberger), and 2 brothers (Warren and Ralph Graham). She was a member of the Manheim Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held Aug. 18, in charge of John 0. Yoder and Melvin H. Lauver; interment in Mellinger Mennonite Church Cemetery.

Kauffman.- Adam, son of Jacob and Lena (Lehman) Kauffman, was born in Elkhart, Ind., Apr. 5, 1883; died at Schowalter Villa, Hesston, Kan., Aug. 21, 1972; aged 89 y. 4 m. 16 d. On Dec. 10, 1905, he was married to Ora Jane Parsons, who preceded him in death on Oct. 7, 1917. On Aug. 16, 1933, he was married to Minnie M. Campbell, who survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters (Mrs. Mary Alice Holden and Mrs. Henrietta Spilman), one son (Hadley Kauffman), 18 grandchildren, and 35 great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Hesston Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 24, in charge of Paul Friesen and John Duerksen; interment in West Liberty Cemetery,
Inman, Kan.

Lehman.- Levi E., son of Joseph B. and Fannie (Ernest) Lehman, was born in Franklin Co., Pa., Sept. 19, 1886; died at Lancaster Osteopathic Hospital, Aug. 22, 1972; aged 85 y. 11 m. 3 d. On Dec. 29, 1910, he was married to Catherine Brubaker, who preceded him in death on July 11, 1963. Surviving are 2 sons (Titus I. and Richard N.), 2 daughters (Esther F.-Mrs. Harold L. Myer and Grace D.), 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and one sister (Mrs. Bessie F. Bair). He was a member of the East Chestnut Street Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 24, in charge of James M. Shank and Luke J. Shank; interment in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.

Longacre.- Gregory A., son of J. Arland and Jean Ann (Aschliman) Longacre, was born in Allentown, Pa., Mar. 26, 1953; died in the Allentown Hospital of injuries sustained in an automobile accident, Aug. 17, 1972; aged 19 y. 4 m. 21 d. Surviving are one sister (Brenda Renee), 2 brothers (Stephen Scott and Jeffrey Keith), paternal grandmother (Mrs. Sarah Longacre), and maternal grandparents (Mr. and Mrs. Amos Aschliman). He was a member of the Bally Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 20, in charge of James C. Longacre; interment in Bally Mennonite Church Cemetery.

Short.- Arvilla, daughter of Christian and Magdalena (Lantz) Short, was born near Archbold, Ohio; aged 92 y. 2 m. 9 d. She was a member of the West Clinton Mennonite Church, Pettisville, Ohio. Funeral services were held at Short Funeral Home, Aug. 14, in charge of Edward Diener and David F. Miller; interment in Lockport Cemetery.

Yoder.- Edna H., daughter of Harvey and Annie (Miller) Yoder, was born in Grantsville, Md., Jan. 24, 1910; died of cancer at Grantsville, Md., Aug. 21, 1972; aged 62 y. 6 m. 28 d. She is survived by 4 brothers (Floyd H., Alvin H., Claude H., and Olen H.), and 7 sisters (Mrs. Beulah Bender, Mrs. Thelma Beitzel, Mrs. Viola Yoder, Glenola Yoder, Mrs. Alta Miller, Mrs. Elva Bender, and Mrs. Verda Beitzel). She was a member of the Springs Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 24, in charge of John H. Kraybill and Walter C. Otto; interment in Springs Cemetery.

Zuercher.- Isaac, son of David and Catherine (Zimmerly) Zuercher, was born near Orrville, Ohio, July 30, 1894; died at Barberton Citizens' Hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident near his home, Aug. 12, 1972; aged 78 y. 13 d. On Aug. 10, 1919, he was married to Emma Lehman, who survives. Also surviving are four sons (Orren, Ellis, Arlin, and Clayton), one daughter (Ada-Mrs. Elvin Burkholder), 20 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, one brother (Enos), and one sister (Leah-Mrs. Reuben Lehman). He was preceded in death by one daughter (Mary Irene), 2 grandsons, one brother (Edwin), and an infant sister (Elizabeth). In May 1938 he was ordained to the ministry of the Kidron Mennonite Church, where he served until his retirement in 1964. Funeral services were held at the Kidron Mennonite Church, Aug. 15, in charge of Reuben Hofstetter, Bill Detweiler, and Stanford Mumaw; interment in the Kidron Church Cemetery.

Zook.- Lester Walter, son of Andrew and Tillie (Kauffman) Zook, was born in Volant, Pa., Oct. 29, 1905; died of an apparent heart attack at Alliance, Ohio, Aug. 17, 1972; aged 66 y. 9 m. 19 d. On Aug. 6, 1927, he was married to Sara Detweiler, who survives. Also surviving are 3 daughters (Donella-Mrs. Jonas Coblentz, Floy-Mrs. John Lapp, and Shirley-Mrs. Ernie Wenger), one son (Vern Zook), 17 grandchildren, 6 sisters (Katherine-Mrs. Norman Lehman, Gertrude-Mrs. Jay Lour, Edna-Mrs. Loyde Schlabach, Esther-Mrs. Glenn Miller, Erma-Mrs. Donald Campbell, and Blanche-Mrs. Russell Rhodes), and 3 brothers (Earl, Donald, and Lee). He was a member of the Hartville Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 20, in charge of Richard F. Ross and Willis Breckbill; interment in the Hartville Church Cemetery. Correction: A brother (Harold Moshier) should have been included with the survivors in the obituary of Erwin Ralph Moshier in the Aug. 22 Gospel Herald.

Blank.- Clarence M., son of Oliver H. and Katie (Musselman) Blank, was born in Montgomery Co., Pa., Mar. 14, 1907; died at Grand View Hospital, Sellersville, Pa., Aug. 24, 1972; aged 65 y. 5 m. 10 d. On Mar. 28, 1928, he was married to Eva S. Nyce, who survives. Also surviving are one son (Stanley R.), 3 grandchildren, 4 brothers (Isaiah M., Harvey M., Elmer M., and Henry M.), and 2 sisters (Mrs. Ellis P. Delp and Mrs. Charles Rhoads). He was a member of the Franconia Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 28, in charge of Leroy Godshall, Floyd Hackman, and Curtis Bergey; interment in church cemetery.

Groff.- Stella (Brubaker), was born Mar. 15, 1910; died at Ephrata, Pa., Aug. 17, 1972; aged 62 y. 5 m. 2 d. On Sept. 27, 1935, she was married to Samuel S. Groff, who survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters (Anne Mae and Alta Mae). She was a member of the Ephrata Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 20, in charge of J. Elvin Martin and Wilbert Lind; interment in Metzler's Cemetery.

Hostetler.- Elizabeth, daughter of Amos P. and Delilah (Yoder) Troyer, was born at Garden City Mo., Dec. 23, 1879; died at McMinnville, Ore., Aug. 27, 1972; aged 92 y. 8 m. 4 d. On Nov. 22, 1903, she was married to Daniel D. Hostetler, who preceded her in death Sept. 28, 1956. Surviving are one son (Dan L.), 5 daughters (Thelma-Mrs. Walter Rithaler, Lila-Mrs. E. Dale Jones, Betty-Mrs. Ralph Kraxberger, Alice-Mrs. Ben Kyllo, and Mae-Mrs. William Wesenberg), 23 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters (Emma Kenagy and Grace-Mrs. John Berkey). Two sons (Samuel and Rolla) and one daughter (Lucille) preceded her in death. She was a member of the Zion Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 29, in charge of Paul Brunner; interment in Zion Cemetery.

Humphries.- Mary, daughter of Christian and Mary (Hershberger) Amstutz, was born at Burr Oak, Mich., Jan. 22, 1911; died at Dover, Del., Aug. 24, 1972; aged 61 y. 7 m. 2 d. On June 12, 1929, she was married to Otto Humphries, who preceded her in death in 1965. Surviving are 6 children (Jerry, Allen, Betty-Mrs. Leonard Taylor, Raymond, Robert, and John William), 27 grandchildren, and 2 sisters (Lovina Amstutz and Katherine-Mrs. Albert Lee). She was preceded in death by one son (Isaac) in 1966 and one sister. She was a member of the Central Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 27, in charge of Daniel V. Yoder and Enos M. Schrock; interment in church cemetery.

Miller.- Arrie B., daughter of Joe and Fannie Bawel, was born at Woodland, Pa., Oct. 5, 1906; died of cancer at Sarasota, Fla., Aug. 10, 1972; aged 65 y. 10 m. 5 d. On May 16, 1937, she was married to Elmer Miller, who survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters (Edith and Mrs. Joyce Greenlee), 2 sisters (Mrs. Fannie West and Mrs. Rebecca Zook), and one brother (Orrie Bawel). She was a member of the Ashton Mennonite Church. Funeral services were held at the Hawkins Funeral Home on Aug. 14, in charge of Amos Graber and Pastor Ross; interment in Palms Memorial Park.

Rush.- Barbara W., daughter of Abraham and Ella (Shelly) Wismer, was born in Bedminster Twp., Pa., July 23, 1898; died at the Doylestown (Pa.) Hospital, May 24, 1972; aged 73 y. 10 m. 1 d. On Oct. 15, 1921, she was married to J. Paul Rush, who preceded her in death Apr. 5, 1956. Surviving are 4 sons (Wilmer W., Howard W., Elwood W., and J. Nelson), 3 daughters (Elsie-Mrs. Paul Godshalk, Mary Emma-Mrs. Lester Overholt, and Adeline-Mrs. Robert Gehman), 33 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and 3 sisters (Alice-Mrs. Clayton Detweiler, Clara-Mrs. Walter Leatherman, and Mabel-Mrs. Norman Lapp). She was a member of the Deep Run Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on May 27, in charge of Erwin Nace, Cleon Nyce, and Abram Yothers; interment in the Deep Run Cemetery.

Shearer.- Lizzie, daughter of Samuel W. and Harriet W. Myers, was born in Dauphin Co., Pa., Jan. 25, 1882; died at her home in Hershey. Pa., Aug. 25, 1972; aged 90 y. 7 m. She was married to Jacob B. Shearer, who preceded her in death Dec. 15, 1958. Surviving are one daughter (Ellen S.-Mrs. Noah S. Wenger), one grandson, and 4 great-grandsons. She was a member of the Stauffer Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 29, in charge of Russell J. Baer, J. Frank Zeager, and Clarence E. Lutz; interment in Stauffer Mennonite Cemetery.

Slagell.- Joseph, son of Joseph and Barbara Schlegel, was born near Flanagan, Ill., Jan. 8, 1887; died at the Thomas (Okla.) Memorial Hospital, Aug. 16, 1972; aged 85 y. 7 m. 8 d. On Mar. 9, 1913, he was married to Emma Schantz, who survives. Also surviving are 6 children (Elmer, Ellen-Mrs. Alva Yoder, Lena-Mrs. Don Cooprider, Goldie Slagell, Lorene-Mrs. Allen Miller, and Mary- Mrs. Paul Lederach), 19 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, one brother (John Slagell), and one sister (Barbara Stutzman). In 1914 he was ordained deacon of the Pleasant View Mennonite Church and served in this capacity until 1962. He was a member of the Pleasant View Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 18, in charge of Chester Slagell, Alva Swartzendruber, Paul M. Lederach, and Henry Yoder; interment in the church cemetery.

Bauman.- Noah S., son of Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Bauman, was born at May City, Iowa, Jan. 6, 1902; died at his home, July 19, 1972; aged 70 y. 6 m. 13 d. On Mar. 28, 1936, he was married to Ruth Culp, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons (Leland and Ronald), 3 sisters (Mrs. Lydia Martin, Mrs. Esther Zimmerman, and Mrs. Anna Martin), and his stepmother (Mrs. Eva Bauman). He was a member of the Yellow Creek Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on July 22, in charge of Mahlon D. Miller; interment in Yellow Creek Union Cemetery.

Birky.- Lilly, daughter of David and Catherine Rediger, was born at Milford, Neb., Nov. 17, 1889; died at Albany, Ore., Aug. 29, 1972; aged 82 y. 9 m. 12 d. On Jan. 27, 1909, she was married to Nicholas M. Birky, who survives. Also surviving are 3 sons (Glen, Merle, and Neil), and 2 daughters (Mrs. Ardis Kuhns and Phyllis Hamilton). She was a member of the Fairview Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Sept. 1, in charge of Verl Nofziger, Roy Hostetler, and Clarence Gerig; interment in Fairview Mennonite Cemetery.

Brubaker.- Jacob S., son of Henry L. and Anna (Stauffer) Brubaker, was born Nov. 16, 1883; died in Lancaster Co., Pa., July 24, 1972; aged 88 y. 8 m. 8 d. On Nov. 16, 1905, he was married to Anna Mae Garber, who preceded him in death on Feb. 3, 1957. Surviving are 4 sons (Henry, Ezra, Paul, and Elwood), 3 daughters (Ethel, Anna Mae-Mrs. Harold Sauder, and Ruth), 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one sister (Naomi-Mrs. Jonas Brubaker). Two sons and 2 daughters preceded him in death. He was a member of the Landis Valley Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on July 27, in charge of Mervin Landis and Levi Weaver; interment in Landis Valley Cemetery.

Cerroni.- Andrew, son of Giuseppe and Marie (Mantua) Cerroni, was born in Castro dei Volschi, Italy, Dec. 1, 1884; died at Freeport, Ill., Aug. 5, 1972; aged 77 y. 8 m. 4 d. On Nov. 4, 1917, he was married to -----who preceded him in death on Jan. 26, 1929. On Dec. 1, 1931, he was married to Anna Weaver, who died Jan. 17, 1970. Surviving are one son (Mervin), one adopted daughter (Mrs. Beverly Stanger), 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and one sister (Mrs. Annunziata Rossi). One son (Paul) preceded him in death. He was a member of the Freeport Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 7, in charge of Paul 0. King; interment in the Freeport Mennonite Church Cemetery.

Conner.- James Edward, son of Edward and Frances (Hundley) Conner, was born in Halifax Co., Va., Mar. 25, 1895; died June 27, 1972; aged 77 y. 3 m. 2 d. On Mar. 21, 1920, he was married to Inez Fuller, who survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters (Mrs. Bernice Inez Bradford and Mrs. Mary Esther Custer), one son (James Edward, Jr.), and one sister (Sallie Maude Fuller). He was a member of the Ebenezer Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on June 28, in charge of 0. B. Snead and Monroe Slabach; interment in Ebenezer Mennonite Cenetery.

Cressman.- Elvina, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph S. Cressman, was born in Breslau, Ont; died at the Freeport Hospital, Kitchener, Ont., Aug. 24, 1972, in her 83rd year. She was the last surviving member of her family. She was a member of the Breslau Mennonite Church where funeral services were held on Aug. 26 in charge of Simeon W. Hurst; interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Gingerich.- Lula M., daughter of Abe and Ida (Kauffman) Stutzman, was born at Julesburg, Colo., Jan. 1, 1894; died at Beverly Manor Care Center, Iowa City, Iowa, Aug. 28, 1972; aged 78 y. 7 m. 27 d. On July 24, 1916, she was married to Joe P. Gingerich, who survives. Also surviving are 4 daughters (Edna-Mrs. Robert Dolan, Vesta-Mrs. Howard Miller, Leona-Mrs. Martin Boller, and Marjorie Gingerich), 3 sons (Paul, Delmar, and Don), one brother (Charles Stutzman), and 2 sisters (Mayme Tucker and Carrie Caldwell). She was a member of the East Union Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 31, in charge of J. John J. Miller and Lonnie Yoder; interment in the East Union Cemetery.

Grove.- Aaron W., son of Aaron H. and Amanda (Witmer) Grove, was born at Maytown, Pa., Mar. 3, 1889; died of a stroke at Elizabethtown, Pa., Sept. 1, 1972; aged 82 y. 5 m. 29 d. On June 4, 1914, he was married to Ada B. Longenecker, who survives. Also surviving are one son (Clarence), 2 daughters (Mrs. Ella Mae Murphy and Mrs. Anna Ruth Hahn), 2 brothers (Phares and Michael). Two infant sons preceded him in death. He was a member of the Elizabethtown Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Sept. 5, in charge of Walter Keener and Russell J. Baer; interment in Elizabethtown Mennonite Cemetery.

Heishman.- Lizzie Florence, daughter of James and Mary (Heishman) Ryan, was born at Perry, W.Va., Mar. 28, 1887; died at Winchester (Va.) Memorial Hospital, Aug. 28, 1972; aged 85 y. 4 m. She was married to Ephraim J. Heishman, who preceded her in death on Sept. 7, 1967. Surviving are 2 sons (Rodney and Thomas), one daughter (Mrs. Virginia Brill), 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, and one sister (Mrs. Lona Funkhouser). She was a member of the Crest Hill Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 31, in charge of A. T. Rollins and J. Ward Shank; interment in the Wardensville Cemetery.

Martin.- Catherine, daughter of Christian and Fannie (Martin) Lehman, was born in Mahoning County, Ohio, Apr. 15, 1876; died at the Cupola Nursing Home, Leetonia, Ohio, July 25, 1972; aged 96 y. 3 m. 10 d. On Dec. 12, 1905, she was married to Stephen Martin, who preceded her in death on May 21, 1950. Surviving are 2 sons (Homer and Eber), one daughter (Elsie-Mrs. John Trotter), 8 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son (Lloyd) and one daughter (Bertha). She was a member of the Midway Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on July 28, in charge of Ernest D. Martin and Paul Yoder; interment in the Midway Cemetery.

Meyers.- Erwin M., son of Henry and Barbara W. Meyers, was born in Bucks Co., Pa., Aug. 31, 1890; died at the Grand View Hospital, Sellersville, Pa., Aug. 3, 1972; aged 81 y. 11 m. 3 d. Surviving is one brother (William M.). He was a member of the Deep Run Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 6, in charge of Cleon Nyce; interment in Deep Run Mennonite Cemetery.

Roth.- Mary Ann, daughter of Abraham and Annie (Hembling) Wideman, was born in Osceola County, Iowa, July 20, 1900; died as a result of several strokes, at St. Mary's Hospital, Camrose, Alta., Sept. 4, 1972; aged 72 y. 1 m. 14 d. On Dec. 2, 1920, she was married to Lee Chris Roth, who survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters (Wilma-Mrs. Clarence Lauber and Lily-Mrs. Wayne Yoder), one son (Lyle), 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and one brother. She was a member of the Salem Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Sept. 6, in charge of Harold R. Boettger and Milo D. Stutzman; interment in Salem Church Cemetery.

Shank.- Lydia Elva, daughter of Martin B. and Catherine E. (Shenk) Shank, was born at Elida, Ohio, Sept. 5, 1891; died of cancer at Harrisonburg, Va., Aug. 31, 1972; aged 81 y. 11 m. 26 d. Surviving are one brother (Lewis D. Shank), and one sister (Cora E. King). She was a member of the Tuttle Avenue Mennonite Church, Sarasota, Fla. Funeral services were held at Harrisonburg, Va., Aug. 31, in charge of Michael Shenk and Myron Augsburger and at Ft. Lincoln Mosoleum Chapel on Sept. 2, in charge of Ray Shenk and Walter Shank; interment in Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Washington, D.C.

Shoemaker.- Melissa, died at the Guelph General Hospital, Ont., Aug. 17, 1972; aged 87 y. She was married to Israel Shoemaker, who preceded her in death. Surviving are one daughter (Ella-Mrs. Arthur Wagner), 4 sons (Angus, Ivan, Clarence, and Cecil), 4 sisters (Mary-Mrs. Sylvester Ziegler, Lydia Ann-Mrs. Abraham Bauman, Emma-Mrs. George Bauman, and Kate-Mrs. Thomas Howlett), one son (William), 8 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. One brother preceded her in death. She was a member of the Bethel Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 19, in charge of Simeon W. Hurst; interment in adjoining cemetery.

Wambold.- Stella A., daughter of John and Mary (Anglemoyer) Fulmer, was born in Hilltown Twp., Pa., Jan. 15, 1885; died at Souderton, Pa., Aug. 22, 1972; aged 87 y. 7 m. 7 d. On Nov. 19, 1904, she was married to Eli Detweiler, who preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 1926. In Nov. 1930 she was married to Abram A. Wambold, who died on Mar. 17, 1962. Surviving are one daughter (Anna Mary-Mrs. Henry Detweiler), one son (John), and one brother (Clarence Fulmer). She was a member of the Plains Mennonite Church. Funeral services were held at the Eastern Mennonite Home, Souderton, Pa., Aug. 26, in charge of John E. Lapp and Marvin M. Anders; interment in the Blooming Glen Mennonite Church Cemetery.
